I really like place. Its BELOW Duseks and the serve (you guessed it!) Punch!! Spiked punch. The punch is great, made fresh each day (tge bartender told me) by the folks who work there. My favorite is Gin Tea Punch which comes with a citrus rind and tastes soooo fresh. Im also a lightweight, so one $8 glass of punch is enough for me. They have fun vintage glassware, which I was told had been collected for years. I think theyre adorable. They offer bar snacks, a juicy lucy burger, and some dessert down there as well. The cheese pretzel is rreaally good. Its very dark down there and it fills up fast. Turn over isnt too quick at the booths which appear to seat up to 6 or 8? Especially if theyve ordered a bowl of punch. The music was too loud for me, last time, but maybe because I wasnt sitting close to the people I brought. Oh! And a cool huge fish tank, to make you feel nautical as you sip spiked punch. Everyone on staff is very nice. They are alllll very knowledgeable. Ask them some questions, the place has cool stories.

Overall: Who knew punch could still be good outside of college? Great vibes and good drinks! The good: The atmosphere is the cherry on top. Basement bar with a fish tank, comfy and humble seating, and a cozy vibes. Lots of interesting decor everywhere. The drinks though, are the meat of the deal. The different punches are great, and for those not inclined theres a good beer menu too. The food looks pretty good too. They also have WiFI since you wont get cell service. The not-so-good: A bit pricey. The punches were great but I dont even wanna look at my bill... Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 9/10

Great cocktails, good beer selection, ambitious desserts (OR probably bad - the one we got was a bit too abstract, and we didnt want to eat it, or look at it), service was friendly. They seem to be cooperating or definitely friendly with gentrification of this neighborhood. A Black Lives Matter tag was defaced and someone wrote "All Lives... ", now its not like it was an employee necessarily, but it illustrates what kind of people youll find here, and this someone is displacing folks from their neighborhood and community.

Friendly staff, creative cocktails, and a very cool space. I especially liked that many of the punch options were not too sweet - the flavors are well balanced with a lot of nuance. I tried a classic old fashioned and their midwesterner punch. Both were excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, and deal with the pre and post show crowds well. The space has large booths for bigger groups, and lots of nooks and crannies for pairs.

Delicious craft cocktails on draft in a unique vintage basement complete with laminate walls, high-back booths and ugly lamps. DJs spin a variety of music on weekend evenings. If you arrive on a busy night, you may notice the bookcase is actually a rotating door leading to another room styled like a wine cellar with additional seating. A must-see in Pilsen. Part of a four-company establishment in the historical Thalia Hall.

Had an amazing time with a group of 5 friends, we had some wonderful beers a little wine, excellent oysters from a menu that feature several different kinds of east and west coast oysters. I tried sweet bread for the first time (for those who are unfamiliar thyroid gland), a fantastic artisan cheese platter and a breaded ox tail. I cant wait to go back.

Pilsen Revival Pilsen has plenty to love, from traditional Mexican restaurants to edgy galleries. The latest spot to have a great drink is Punch House, located in the basement of Thallia Hall. Go for the friendly staff and the punch on tap. Theres also a great DJ most evenings.

The punch house looks unassuming from the outside, but descend down the stairs and you will find a modern and hip lounge that serves a large variety of punch cocktails. The desserts are a little pricey but I have never regretted spending the money to get one.

Great atmosphere. They took our favorite aspects of a basement and blended it seamlessly together, including wood paneling, various seating arrangements. I decided to try a non-punch drink called The Fox. It was very freshing with the taste of strawberries.

A Delicious eclectic crowd with a drink menu and small eats selection to match! Not to mention the constant rotation of DJ talent delivering a deep crate experience of house and deeper house! "I say, You aint really down, playn them games you do!!!"

A little basement space with cool booths, as well as cozy coach and chairs. At midnight, the bartenders "feed the fish" -- which means not only the fish in the tanks, but the people sitting up at the bar get a shot. Love this spot!

This is what I love about pilsen. Like you go out to drink further north and its too crowded and kinda stupid. This place is great and low key. I hope they can continue to provide that experience as its sure to be more popular.

Such a great atmosphere, amazing punches (be careful...very, very strong) and always lots of fun. Its kitschy but not annoyingly so. Very affordable. I mean..what more can I say? Just come and visit. I promise its worth it.

Very chill, unsuspecting bar. Lower level of Duseks (you wont see a sign for it outside). Homemade punches for $8 and a good variety of beer options for all budgets. Bar Snacks available.

Service is slow, but some of the best drinks in town. Space Juice is a classic all my friends love. They offer bar snacks and a delicious fondu platter that easily serves 5. Love going here.

Punch House is a really neat basement space. The punch can be a little pricey, but its good stuff. Theres also a secret back room behind a hidden door/bookcase!
