Lets begin the second we walked in the door. Incredibly inviting and happy people. Once we were sat down Jason walked us thru the menu. He was overly honest about the menu and his likes and dislikes. We went with 3 out of the 4 recommendations that he gave. We also picked one other that we wanted. The seasonings and preparations of tge food could not have been more spot on!!! We had the minced pork and eggplant(absolute must), Dungeness crab, black pepper steak, and duck ribs(addicting!). Awesome atmosphere, incredible service and most importantly food was beyond expectations! Its a must try and if you go ask for Jason he definitely made the experience all the more special!! 5 stars, 10 if i could give them.

Located off the main Chinatown Square, Dolo does Chinese style seafood right. Fresh seafood and shellfish are the mainstays of this new hotspot. Confused about the preparation options? You cant go wrong with the salted spice, which results in a perfectly fried dish with a bit of kick from the added chili and peppercorns. Nice decor, but staff dont walk the floor as often as Id like (they will come over quickly once you get their attention though). They have a small parking lot in front.

The most reasonable price to quality ratio in Chicago Chinatown. For a party of three, we got 6 dishes, took food home and it came out to around $35. I definitely recommend the rice porridge as best bang for your buck! The service is impersonal but quick and efficient. Expect the space to be a bit tight and for there to be a wait. Parking can be a real mess - we got boxed in by three other cars while we were inside and needed a manager to help us out.

I booked a 12 person table for my friends b-day, the room was so nice, the ambient was perfect.. on top the food was on point. From the soft shell crab to the fish maw soup, it tasted so well. We got the fish and tofu, the vegetable dish was so good.. staves who helped us were so friendly. Overall, my friend had a great b-day there.. would recommend this place.. of the Taiwanese shrimps are really good too.

Decor is nice and the food is good. Prices are pretty much in line with quality but someone please please please work on cleaning this place. Restrooms need work. Has the owner ever stepped inside the restroom? No soap, no paper towels, sink is filthy especially underneath the drain cover and tape is holding the empty paper towel dispenser together.

Compared to all the other dim sum places in chinatown, this place has the best service, fastest food serving, and cleanest restaurant. On top of that they do take reservations. Maybe not as well known due to being out of new Chinatown square but definitely worth a visit. VERY small parking lot (10ish spaces) but you may get lucky.

I think this is gonna be our new favorite Chinese restaurant. They have a really good selection of different Chinese food from different regions (think MingHin Cuisine). They have really good service (also like Minghin) as well. It is a bit pricier than other Chinese restaurants in the area but I think they are worth it.

We have been to MingHin, Cai, etc for years, I must say Dolo is better. Their dim sum was all hot and fresh like it was suppose to be. Cant say the same for the other restaurants, specially on weekend where some are barley warm. Super polite and friendly wait staff too. Very unexpected from a Chinese restaurant.

Went there for dim sum with the family and everyone really enjoyed it! Food all fresh. Service was not that bad a tad slow but then again it was Christmas Day. So I am taking that into consideration! I will be back as well as referring my friends. Glad I found a new place!

早茶不错,(虽然上错一次餐)点其它菜,上菜速度实在太慢,等了1小时。如果想尝试,建议吃早茶

Decent spot in Chinatown to grab dim sum. The food & service is good, with nice decor & it has micro parking lot to boot! The only complaint is the acoustics; it does tend to get fairly loud in the restaurant during dim sum hours.

Energetic staff will keep your glasses full and help you with your menu choices. Chinese cuisine is tasty and the duck dish was perfect! Fresh cold water lobster and crab tanks to pick your meal, enjoy the green tea pot!

Good presentation and service, but me and my girlfriend both got sick from the food. Dont order the ginger chicken, SO MANY BONES. It may have been a bad combination of food but we probably wont go back.

They forgot to put in our order but gave us a 10% discount. The food was average and their service is somewhat ok. I would recommend this place if you were looking into authentic Chinese food.

You need to call them for reservation, the waiter said that opentable reservation from google map can only be seen by there boss and he doesnt tell them, so its useless.

Good food for dim sum but its not your standard dim sum where they go around in carts and you see and pick your food. You check off a list then they bring it out to you.

The good was great but the service was lacking. Poor followup after seating, ordering, and during service. Highly recommended for the selection and quality.

Trendy restaurant for dim sum away from the Chinatown strip, but still close by. Super fast service and delicious food. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent upscale Chinese food, but the high price might not be worth it. Restaurant was half full on a recent prime time Saturday night.

Great place for dim sum. Different dishes plus bit cheaper than places of the same quality. Also seafood champ of the area.

Its pretty good Chinese food. Going for a trendy feel. I say the food is on par with most Cantonese food. Not super special

Came here for some late night eats. Had the won tons and beef chow fun. Both were very good and moderately priced.

Has a small parking area, the dim sum variety was greater then minghin. But the flavor was milder
