I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT GO TO BULL-EH-DIAS. We went to Bull-eh-dias last week for a friends birthday. I had been there once before about five years ago, and my recollection was that it was pretty good. My girlfriend was smart enough to find a Living Social deal before we went. $15 for $30 worth of food. Great, right? Nope. When we arrived, we asked the waiter, Jeison, if we could be on a separate check, stated that we had a Living Social deal, and asked if that would be ok, to which he replied, "Absolutely." We werent all that hungry, but since we had to spend at least $30, we ordered more than we would have. All in all, our bill ended up coming out to a little over $40, so I was going to just pay the difference, plus tip. When it was time to cut the check, the waiter came and informed us that he was not going to honor the Living Social deal because people in "our group" received "another deal". Lets see... we are a group of two who did not drink any beverages, and only ordered off the main menu. What? "Didnt you tell your manager that you told us it was ok to use this?" "Too bad," was his response. He did not want to get in trouble with his manager/owner, so he threw us under the bus. Enter the manager/owner. What a piece of work! We told her that the waiter had said it would be ok for us to use the Living Social deal, which as far as I am concerned, is practically legal tender. She flat out refused and kept trying to draw some half-assed comparison to Brazzaz. Sorry, but you are not Brazzaz. Their food and service both blow yours out of the park. After all of this, we obviously decided not to tip because they were screwing us out of $15 (the other $15, we will be able to get back from Living Social). Nope again! THEY DECIDED TO IMPOSE A MANDATORY GRATUITY AND THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE IF WE DID NOT COMPLY! I crossed off the gratuity and signed the check, agreeing only to pay the $40 or so before "gratuity". Sure enough, my credit card was charged almost $50 because they decided to keep the "gratuity" included. I have, of course, contested this with my credit card company. So-so food. Horrible service. Flagrantly pathetic ownership. I will never go to Bull-eh-dias again.

Went here on a Thursday evening for a date. I did not call ahead, and we were still able to get a table as soon as we arrived. It was a little difficult to converse over the loud contemporary music playing, and the other patrons loud chatter. Still, the restaurant had a nice ambiance, dimly lit with candles at every table. There were no flamenco dancers when we arrived (8:15 PM), which was completely fine for us. The menu is impressively long, but well-partitioned, so we were able to order relatively easily. The tapas selection ranges from traditional Spanish fare to dishes you might find in chic upscale establishments. The food arrived quickly, and the small plates were larger than anticipated. We left a lot of food on the table for having ordered four tapas. Each plate was presented well, and the food was scrumptious. The sangria was sangria, refreshing, but not too watered down. Everything was reasonably priced. Between the four tapas and four drinks, our bill was just shy of $100. I think we overstayed our welcome, though, as the waitstaff was eager to clear our table and present the check (we left around 11:30). Also, we would have loved to dine on the patio, but an earlier rain and unpredictable weather kept us from doing so. All in all, a very positive experience, one I wouldnt mind repeating again soon.

The food is just awful and tastes cheap. The croquettes taste like they use a cheap chicken sausage instead of real chicken. When I mentioned they were not particularly tasty, the waitress told me, "Well they are my favorite." Ugh... The sangria was bland and tasted really light on the actual wine content... All of the food I tasted seemed to come out of a frozen bag and into a frying pan. Im not suggesting that is the actual process, but to me it tasted like that. I really wanted to like this place because it is close by and has a fun atmosphere and great outdoor seating. But the food is just awful with one exception -- the paella is pretty good. I think the chefs should consult with someone who is actually from Spain if they have not already tried so. The food quality would have to improve for me to return.

I just dined here because I have worked at a tapas restaurant for 3 years and was excited to try it. Unfortunately, it was an unsatisfactory experience. Our waiter claimed we never ordered drinks, and finally came with them 20 minutes into the mail. Strangely, he brought drinks to tables that were seated after us. My mom said she wanted the hot salmon, distinctly said she wanted it cooked through and they brought salmon ahumado. The waiter was unapologetic (as a waiter youre supposed to cater to the customer). Soon we realized that bus boys and our server were ignoring us, and prioritizing the people around us. There is no better word for our experience than discrimination. Buyer beware!

I absolutely love this place, I think the reviews here are talking about other restaurant because this place is amazing!!. Skirt stake is one of the best I have ever had. If you have the time to wait for it you must try their paella. They have a really good selection of wines and Ive heard they are famous for the Sangria so maybe Ill try next time. Servers are really friendly and helpful and for me it was really nice to see how the owner was checking on the tables to see is we were having a good time. All this said Im definitely going back

I love this place! The manager is extremely knowledgeable of her Spanish wines (down to the vintage) and has a great selection. The menu is authentic and delicious - very healthy Spanish Mediterranean fare with several vegetarian and even vegan options. The decor & ambience is fantastic, very romantic. Spanish music playing, Spanish futbol on television. Live flamenco dancers and live music. Patio seating. What more could you ask for?

I had so much fun! I went with two friends and we were curious about the restaurant about their Spanish food and it was really good. The customer service is great! Yes it is loud for some people and the tables close to each other but for your information most of the restaurants European or Argentinean are like that and I think it is great, it is social and fun, with a young spirit I am from Argentina and I really recommended.!

MUST AVOID AT ALL COST! Ever since I went there I have been throwing up more than an anorexic high school girl getting bullied. I have honestly never felt this sick and I had some serious heroin withdrawals in the 1980s. If you have eaten there recently I would highly recommend getting an emergency enema because getting your stomach pumped may be your only hope. Hopefully you read this review before it is too late.

I ate at this restaurant and the food was terrible. I am Portuguese and have eaten authentic Spanish food since I was a kid. The food came out cold and there even was a cockroach on the ground. It was embarrassing since I was there on a business trip. I spoke with Joe who is the owners husband and he was also very rude. I would never eat at this place again. Terrible doesnt even describe it. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
