I have nothing but good things to say about The Norse Bar, considering both their craft beer selection and super friendly staff are both top notch! Norse has 12 beers on tap at all times, all of which cycle with new brews as they finish kegs. Many are rare, sometimes the only available in the city. On top of that, they have a wide selection of bottled and canned beers, also ranging from local and rare one-offs to the basic Coors Light & Miller High Life. If that wasnt enough of a selection, they have a hand-picked selection of specialty liquors, including whiskeys, bourbons and customer-favorite ice-chilled Ullr shots. There are plenty of TVs and the staff make sure to play all Iowa and Iowa State games, as well as local sports. On a nice day, the front sliding doors will be open to cool the whole bar. There are plenty of board and card games to play on a lazy afternoon/evening and you can bring food in to eat (Sauce & Bread Kitchen next door!) or use the book of menus to have your order delivered. Tuesday Night Trivia with Ian & Julie is a lot of fun and winners get great prizes! The Norse Bar accepts credit cards or cash and is open until 2 a.m. every night or 3 a.m. on Saturday night.

This is a great location that has a nice low key atmosphere. There is a great rotations of craft beer but you dont have to be an expert to enjoy. Ive enjoyed board games, video games, and football games at this bar. With great bartenders, good beer, and nice people you cant go wrong.

From the name and the nice wooden sign outside i was expecting something a little more high class than a college house basement, but, eh, they have good beers and a house dog. The dog is what brings the atmosphere score up to "good". She was awesome.

My favorite beer bar in Chicago. They get the most unique things on tap. I once had a sour wheat there... I mean a sour wheat... right? The owners are very dedicated to their customers, Id strongly recommend this place.

My favorite place to stop after work for a nice cold craft beer. Darts, sports, tuesday trivia! Stop in for a relaxing place in rogers park to drink and be merry.
