Deafening noise ruins it for non-masochists. Frustrating because the food, wine, service and decor are all excellent. Walls, floors, ceilings, table tops all reflect sound. Will not return. The above was written during the Friday of the first week of opening. We returned Wednesday evening, 2/15/17 with my brother and his wife at their urging. It was refreshingly quiet, about 40% full. The piped in music was much quieter, draperies placed on the windows and perhaps some other noise control. We enjoyed excellent service by a knowledgeable waiter, tasty food and wine, all at a fair price for the experience. We now would return.

Terrible food terrible ,I was there last night with my wife and we order chicken piccata ,grilled octopus ,chicken piccata wasnt piccata ( I am a Italian i know what chicken piccata is ) no taste at all and they bring with wierd creamy sauce and orzo rice ( never serve piccata with rice ) which is not spouse to be like that ,chicken was under cook.Octopus was with some wired sweet sauce .I just waste my money and time will never ever go there again .Shame on this people disrespecting the Italian food like that.Service was good but food is really really bad

Food was good but it seems the restaurant wants to mislead people. On a Sunday I tried to order their Presto menu and told it was not available on Sunday. When I pointed out that the sign says otherwise, I was told sorry, not available. A restaurant that would actually care about its reputation would have still allowed me to order from that menu since they are the ones who messed up. Either that or the staff lied to me.

Terra & Vine did a great job remodeling the restaurant. We ate there Saturday night and Alpana Singh was there the whole night working her butt off. She was talking to the patrons, taking pictures, and even cleaning off tables. We had a Margarita Pizza, which was great, and homemade pasta, also very good. Great location and a big bar area. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Food is very mediocre, everything was just OK. Really wanted to love this place, for the price- so many other great options in Chicago. Service was also not up to par with what I expected. Long waits to be greeted/assisted when the restaurant wasnt even busy. Weird

Great service, and the food was delicious! Definitely try the pink limoncello! We had yummy meatballs, the mussels, gnocchi with duck confit, spinach and goat cheese agnolotti and the grilled swordfish! The affogato tiramisu is a must have!

The pasta romero was good, but our "special" risotto was way too salty and the Brussels sprout crostini was quite bitter. Definitely not an ideal place to go if youre a vegetarian.
