I was in the neighborhood so I decided to stop in and try some of the turkey tips. They were nice about giving me a sample to taste. So I ordered a lg one and buffalo fish for someone else. I was told it would be another 20 minutes for the fish so I said ok. It was over 30 minutes before my order was ready and it was getting crowded. When I got the order, the cashier told me I had ordered a small turkey tips. I told her I ordered a large and she told me that I would have to wait if I wanted a lg because they didnt have enough to fill all the orders. I told her Im not waiting anymore & had been there over 1/2 hr already so I told her to refund my money and I didnt want anything. If a business knows that after a certain hour, theyre going to be super busy, then they should be prepared to serve the rush. But I guess if some people want to eat bad enough, then they dont care how theyre treated. I came home and ate food I already had and was happy. No one is going to treat me any kind of way when Im giving them my hard earned money. Its not that serious.

Let me state that I will support good eaterys that have reasonable prices, good to excellent service and of course good to great food. I dont even mind paying more if its worth it. I 57 Rib House on 115th needs to do better then they have. I have tried for at least two years since they reopened to support them, but they have not failed to disappoint me. They started out great. The food portions, sauces, and service was excellent. Suddenly one day and everyday after that has been horrible. After inquiring as to what to do about restored portions especially since they wanted twenty bucks for an order of rib tips, I was told to see a manager before ordering. No change. So I am done. Why do we continue to pay & support bad businesses? I know yall love I-57 but really its not that good and definitely not consistent. Do some research and youll find more satisfying options.

I have been a customer of I-57 for years - living in Beverly for over 30 years. Even now after moving to the north side I still occasionally take public trans back south to get my rib tips and hot links. Food is crazy delicious!!! BUT, me having a long side career in the bar/restaurant business - the final 5 years as a general manager - I have to say the customer service (in all areas) leaves much to be desired the majority of the time. And its been that way since I can remember which is really sad. Have frequented two of the locations and its pretty much the case at both. There is obviously a pride that is taken in the quality of the food. There should absolutely be the same or more pride and focus on customer service and the FULL customer experience. Just a thought....

The food is good but the service is HORRIBLE!!!! The girl working tonight was rude & ignorant. They dont answer calls & the phone stays busy, which makes the line & wait longer. I called when I left my house. They picked the phone up & left it. Still had me on the line when I arrived & this child wanted to argue with me about it, even though the guy in line next to me was saying we can hear you talking. You dont get out of line with customers if you want to keep your job. Reputation is everything when running a business. Get your employees in line then you wouldnt need to worry about needing security.

It was my first time trying this place after several attempt to get in . My ribs were tough and they forgot to put my wings in my order . The fries I got were old and they gave me stale bread . Now for the lines to be as long as there are - maybe I got the bad deal on my visit yesterday but the food should be fresh due to the high demand . I called as soon as I got home about the service - I was promised a free four wing dinner , however when I go Im taking back the ribs and fries too as I didnt eat them cause they werent tender either . Bad deal !! For a first time visitor huh ??

They dont even deserve 1 star! I called and placed an order, they told me it would be ready in 45 minutes. I got there and they had 1 long line for placing orders and pick orders. So by the time I got to the window just to pick up my order 20 minutes of standing in line, I still had to wait 30 more minutes! After Ive paid and they told me that my order was coming right up. Well, I never got it! So I asked for a refund. I shouldnt have to wait 2 hours to get my food and they got a big sign outside that reads call ahead for faster service, well I did and they failed to honor that.

I DID NOT TASTE THE BIG DEAL ABOUT THESE RIBS COMING FROM NORTH SIDE? I WENT THERE ON MY HD (HARLEY DAVIDSON) UP NORTH BECAUSE A FRIEND FROM SOUTHSIDE SAID IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST. I DONT THINK SO. THE SAUCE, RIBMEAT AND SOME OF THE SIDES WHICH WAS WHITE BREAD AND FRIES WHERE BLAND. MEAT WAS VERY LITTLE AND MORE BONE SINCE I HAD THE FULL RIB TIB DINNER. ALSO NO WASHROOMS OR WET WIPES TO WIPE YOUR HANDS WHEN EATING RIBS . LINE WAS VERY LONG TOO. WAS NOT WORTH THE WAIT OR THE TIME FOR ME COMING ALL THE WAY UP NORTHSIDE

Good bbq, nice sides but poor service! I wish they had more of a variety of portions. lunch portions are perfect for me. I wish they offered a smaller portion for dinner after the lunch specials expire @4pm....3pm by phone (so i was told). I had two consecutive bad experiences with the person talking the order, but i will admit that management was nice and tried to correct the issue. not sure if i will be returning, Im sick of bad customer service which is common on this side of town.

I have been coming here for a long time. Never had any problems with the food but the service is awful. Just because the food is good mainly for me only the hot links does not mean you make people wait 30 minutes in line to order and another hour for food. This is not a isolated incident it is consistent poor slow service with a attitude. Shame on you to do your customers like this. Calling ahead is a joke. Good luck if you get a answer and guess what if you do you still have to wait an hour.

Its ridiculous that they serve lunch when I takes your whole damn lunch break to get your food. This is the only bbq restaurant Ive been to that takes 30 mins to get your food ready and theyre not the best so its not like its worth the wait. Everyone else can manage to get you your food in 15 mins they really need to figure it out cause i wont be going back there to waste my whole lunch break waiting on my food.
