PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is absolutely nasty and dirty. Eggs are slimey. They give you hard cold toast with a brick of butter and dirty silverware. Then on top of that food and drinks are stored in dirty reused containers it looks like. If you can get passed that then you will notice how often the waiters forget about your food and what you asked for. Do yourself the favor and cook for yourself

Ambiance is so so but dont let that deter you. The food is delicious. I am so glad I did not listen to the reviews. Salmon croquettes tastes like my mom made them. Grits, old fashioned, turkey patties taste like they are made from scratch. Pancakes have that extra and even the syrup is good. This is definitely a diamond in the ruff. Cant wait to taste their dinner menu.

I really wish I could post this picture of my plate... I would feed this food to my dog how dare you serve any one these these burned potatoes. Im never the one to give bad reviews but this place needs new management. The food looks like it be good if its wasnt over cooked. I just wasted 25 minutes of my life that I can never get back...

Great atmosphere, excellent services, Soul Food so good it will make you want to slap your Mother. Down home experience in Chi-Town. Bring your family, invite friends, business associates. Great place to meet after church. Offer take out, catering available for any and all functions. Thumbs up! !!

I went here yesterday and ended up leaving. I went to IHOP smh. I love supporting my black businesses but sometimes they can be a bit unprofessional. Like seriously how do you not have half of the things on your menu? And it was freezing in there as well... I wont be going back, ever...

Horrible! This is the worst place to eat , do not go here. Im warning you do not! The food looks like something you get out of a trash can. The cups , knifes and forks are dirty. The service sucks! Its hot asl in the place, the place all together is just dirty.

I was always hesitant on going there. Just havent heard anything about them but, I had a dinner from there on accident. It was utterly delicious! Ive been back 3 times in the course of a week...lol...priced excellent as well! Checkem out! Wow!

I had the best breakfast with salmon pattie..everyone cant do salmon patties! Nice portions, great service..and not highly seasoned. Do it yourself...everyone cant take a lot of salt..like the way lemon added to salmon pattie...

The food was so old and dried out. I wouldnt feed it to a dog. The cashier had a nasty attitude. They fell off real bad. I was highly disappointed that they were even attempting to sell that unappealing unappetizing slop.

The best thing was the pop. Cornbread was tough, Mac n cheese tasteless. Black eye peas straight from a can, and neck bones not properly cleaned. Sweet potatoes were okay but nothing special. Id like a refund.
