Best kept secret in Chicago!!! Very friendly place at all times. You come into the 5th Province Pub as a stranger and you end up later having met so many new friends and wondering why you have not been there before. From the great bartenders, great food, great organization, great cultural programming - I say go and experience this venue for yourself and your family (family friendly)! If you are into Celtic culture, take in the second floor with a phenomenal Museum, a beautiful Library and the Art Gallery - wonderful spaces. Great space to spend a day in Chicago (or an eternity). Find out about your Irish roots by talking with Brian Donovan, the resident Geniologist! Join programs to boost your short story writing (Anam Chara), or even painting with a brush in one hand and a pint of Guinness in the other! Great place!

Great pint a Guinness and the Irish is real. Fun place to hang out. They have a new chef but the food is still pub food. Good. Fresher than before. Come here for the company and a taste of Ireland and perhaps a wee dram of whisky.

I was here to listen to Alderman Ameya Pawar speak. The Aldermans speech was as inspiring as the Irish American Heritage Center was interesting!
