Warning!!! These people are racist. My friend Jeff comes here every week and I occasionally meet him. But last week I showed up to meet my fiancé and friend Jeff and found out that the bartender made a racist comment about their music choice on the JUKEBOX. And he said the owner would come in and shut it off. So today, I stopped by to meet Jeff and I spoke to the bartender about his comments. He said "well I had 10-15 Irish people in the bar". I said how do you know they were Irish and he said "I know the people". So I said when do you play Irish music? He says on "saint paddys day". Then he says " its just a more chill kind of music that they play". He then says "by the way Im porti Rican, Im not racist". At this point Im wasting my time and leave. Ill never go there again.

Probably one of the best bars in the city. Amazing bartenders. I asked for a double rum and diet in a tall glass. They misunderstood my behemoth request and when I talked about it not being quite right, they amicably gave me that drink for free and fulfilled my order. Just awesome. I didnt have to yell or scream, or really even ask. I was simply talking to my wife about it not being what I was hoping and Jamie the bartender said "oh we can do better sir" with a smile, filled up what I wanted, and said "the wrong ones on the house." Rarely tipped better in my life. They were already great, but that kinda customer service is amazing. Treat the people that handle your food, money, hair and alcohol well!! They will always surprise when you treat them the right way!

Roscoe village pub is the best. Great daily drink specials and the best staff! You know a bar is great when regulars are exchanging home cooked meals with the bartenders. Food isnt served, but you can order in from local restaurants and they have a binder with tons of menus to choose from. Also, the magical tamale man is typically in between 7 and 8 with 3 for $5. My only complaint is it took me too long to discover the best local watering hole.

This place is so racist dont plan on going if you are any color other then white. The remarks my wife overheard from the bartender and customers about minorities was sickening. Funny to think that they thought they could say racists comments around her because she was white. I would advice everyone to stay out of this toxic bar.

my fave neighborhood pub. relaxed vibe, great patrons & amazing friendly bartenders. good music playing & jukebox whenever you want to hear something different. i try to be respectable toward fellow patrons when choosing (slayer on a sunday afternoon is probably not my best choice)

Very disappointed on the remarks I heard about minorities while sitting at the bar from the bartender and customers. But then again after looking at the reviews of the environment from others not surprised in the slightest.

Great location, cleaned up since new owner came in, but something needs to change to get people in the door. Offering great beers helps, but they should probably drop the prices of basic domestics to gain more regulars.

Any minority group, STAY FAR AWAY! Just read the other comments on blatant racism about this place. It baffles me how abrasive this staff is and I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone!
