We got together with our friends today. Both of us had our kids with us today and wanted lunch. Decided to visit your restaurant. As we walked in the door saw a sign that said no young children or babies. Saw no age limit... our kids were 13 and older so we came in and sat down. Your bartender came and told us immediately no young kids. We said they are not young and continue to enjoy our time and meal. Continue to see customers walk in with kids and the bartender continously told the customers your rule. Not one time did i see anyone young or babies.. mostly kids older 10 or older i am guessing than that. I am so glad your bartender is so concern of the sign and rule instead of giving good customer service. Her attitude was horrible towards us and glared at our kids. Needless to say i am upset that all your bartender cares about the rule. Too bad she did not concentrate on her customer service and maybe sound cheery or even smile. she even stopped waiting on a customer and tell a another customer that had older kids the rule. Oh my goodness lucky you have singles that come and couples. Have a great day... oh wait good idea..teach some manners and respect to your bartender.

Total dive bar decor - could use some newer high top tables or anything to improve the atmosphere. The food is just ok... maybe above average for the prices which are pretty reasonable. A 1/2 LB or better burger (around $5) is fried, not flame broiled which leaves a lot of the flavor on their nickel top grill - Burger King has more flavor (minus a star). No Deep fried food most people crave when they drink, just packaged chips and fresh popped popcorn (minus a star). Busch and Busch Light are the only draft beers which kind of stinks in the age of micro or craft brew beer (minus a star). However, on Thursdays, they have $1 busch light cans, so if thats your flavor, you can spend hours here for the smallest tab around (add a star). No kids (add a star), cash only (minus a star).

Bristol Tap provided just about everything you would hate in a restaurant. Being from a more populated town I can tell you that this establishment pretty much took my standards and threw up on them. Its all run down and looks like it hasnt been renovated since its unwanted opening. I tried to eat here after a baseball game and when I got there I realized how great my perception of fine looking establishments truly was. We left because of the snotty bartender and the two illiterate men at the bar. I am strongly against this inexplicable disgrace of a business and advise you to never go.

Great place, but know what to expect. Its a locals hangout. The decor is early seventies finished basement, paneling and all. It is cash only, so come prepared. Popcorn is help yourself and always available. Not a place for kids, and by kids they mean anyone under 18. Its a bar, not a pub. The burgers (and the rest of the menu) are simple and honest and hearty. I really like the burger here.

Ive had burgers from coast to coast. Chains, locals, dives... This place is HANDS DOWN the best burger! Thick, juicy, no frills! You get it their way, not your way! Im always amazed at my tab for a burger and a few adult beverages. Just dont forget your cash... NO credit cards.

Reminds me of the typical small town farmers watering hole - and thats just fine. Burgers are renowned so we ate them. Seat yourself, order at the bar, get ready drink. Consensus on the burgers were: they are good. This was a place that felt normal.

Great burgers and staff is friendly. No credit cards cash only place but they have an ATM. No small children/babies allowed but older ones are fine. The environment is more bar like but they have tables too.

Great no frills place to grab a beer and a great burger! Prices reflect the no frills part and that is what makes it a place we return to whenever we want a quick bite to eat. Cash only! ATM on site.

Pretty expensive for a burger that only comes with cheap, nasty potato chips, and the berger was just ok. Personally Id go to fast food before returning here. Also it is extremely slow service.

Best burgers by far. When ever family comes into town that is the first thing they have to go get is a Bristol burger. The beer is cool and wet and the people are small-town friendly.

Just a little hole in the wall. The atmosphere wont impress you but the burgers will. Hit or miss on the bar staff but the owner is always about and friendly as can be. Great place.

Dive bar with a lot of heart. Think they have shuffleboard and the best burgers. Got some sports on the TVs. Electronic gambling. But this place is cash only.
