I went here based on the reviews and was hoping for the same experiences as the Google reviewers however, I was very disappointed with my experience. The beer selection was great. They have a wonderful selection of craft beers and have many ciders that I have never had and want to try. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. This is the only reason I am giving two stars. Where GAH fell short with me was their food. My date and I ordered the cheese curds as an app and they would have been much better had they come out hot. For our main courses, I ordered the minis (korean bbq, pulled pork, and the filet) and chips and my date ordered the jalepeno stuffed burger. My meal came out luke warm and the pretzle buns were burnt. I can handle a little brown, but these babies were burnt to a crisp to where I could only eae the meat and left the buns. The korean bbq meat was also burnt. My date said his was sub-par...nothing bad; nothing good. I was pretty disappointed since the reviews of GAH are so positive. If I was in the area, I would maybe give it another chance but wouldnt make a special trip out there again.

The Geneva Ale House has one of the best selections of craft brew beer in the fox valley. With 12 tap handles and over 70 bottles its hard to decided which to try first, but regardless of your choice, you wont be disappointed. If youre not sure what exactly you want, or want to try something new, the staff is very helpful and proprietor Brian Harrington is extremely knowledgeable. Aside from there robust beer menu, Geneva Ale House offers a wide range of high caliber pub food, I personally recommend the Fish Tacos and the "Just the Burger" Cheeseburger. There are few places in Fox Valley that can compete with this new contender.

It was amazing! Ive been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, so needless to say Im a little picky when I go out. This place exceeded all my expectations! Our server, Kyle was fantastic!! He was attentive, his timing was right on, and his personality was great! He even got on the floor and played cars with my son. My sister and I were there celebrating my late mothers birthday, which is always a tough day to navigate. Kyle turned it around and made it a day of laughter, good food and good times. It couldnt have gone better! Thank you, Kyle and manager Krissy for truly making our day! We will for sure be back!!!

Best Beer, Best Food. Best people (patrons and staff). Sometimes so busy its takes a bit to get your food or for the server to check on you. But the staff is always moving and never just standing around. The food is not your typical bar food. Its well made and delicious. Always ask what the special of the day is, they have good deals. They actually make some mean and tasty martinis too. They actually put effort into making them, and taste the drink to make sure it tastes right before serving it to you.

Great food and service. We had the bruschetta for an appetizer, and the Ale House burger, Cuban sandwich and Black Forest Turkey sandwich. All three were amazing and well worth it. The venue is very casual but still nice enough to take your family or work cohorts. Their beer list is overwhelming, offering every style of beer with multiple options for each. The Geneva Ale House is the perfect place for an afternoon lunch with the family or late night meeting place for young professionals.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars, we walked in the door and asked for a table, we were instructed to wait at the bar while for 30 min we saw other groups sitting immediately after walking through the door. As we left a little unhappy, the greeter very sarcastically said "sorry about that" Sorry about what? Not seating us? DO NOT waste your time with this hole, the beer was very expensive and you obviously have to be royalty to get a table.

Absolutely fantastic! My friend and I went there Feb. 22, 2015 for lunch - great experience! Our waitress was Ericka; she was incredibly attentive and friendly. We ordered fried pickles and onion rings as appetizers (Watch out, though! The onion rings mean business!!) and burgers for lunch. All the food came out quickly and was hot and completely delicious. Highly recommend!!

We went for lunch on a busy Friday but were still seated quickly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helped make great choices. We didnt try any beer or ale. The black bean burger was a bit messy but had many layers of delicious flavor. I might go simpler next time and pass on the chimichurri sauce. The salad with my sandwich was perfect. Chips are a must.

They used to have these awesome hand cut fries! The main reason I went and recommended it to others! Now they have these run of the mill, nothing special, frozen fries.... Its a total bummer when you have a place you love with food you love and they change the food?!?!?! Why mess with a good thing???

The beer selection is great, though a little heavy on the IPAs on a few visits. They say the sweet potato fries are dusted with vanilla, but the effect less me to believe its actually crack (I cant stop!). The best dish is probably the brisket, but anything on the pretzel rolls is great.

Served many different local brews and very tasty sandwiches and dinners. Head the Cuban. Was not disappointed. Good balance of sauces and cheeses. The pulled pork on it was amazing! Had just the right crunch. Staff was very friendly and attended well. Thanks Ale House.

Food is delicious, beer selection is huge. They make a really good bloodymary-no need for the olive, a least for me. Hopefully you get Nat as your server, he has lots of helpful info & a great server. Love going back every time, worth the long drive.

Great food and great beer. I had the salmon with red pepper risotto and it was fantastic. The Wisconsin cheese curds are good but Im not sure a true wisconsinite would approve. Will definitely continue to come here for food and craft beer.

The beer menu is extraordinary. The burgers are terrific. The appetizers are excellent. The servers are attentive but not pushy. I cant recommend Geneva Ale House enough. Dont expect a fine dining experience and youll get a great meal.

Food was great! Server was on top of it but not hovering, friendly enough. We had a booth in the front by the window-great for conversation. Temperature was comfortable, did not need my jacket which I always bring just in case

Love this place! Always a hang out for me and my friends - they have great options for beer (or if you love cider like me) and their sweet potato fries are to die for. Awesome atmosphere.

This is an excellent place to relax, dine and enjoy a beverage. My recommendation is the Grilled Cheese Burger. Quite the selection of craft brew beer. Will dine here again.

Beer is great, food is even better. I would have given 5 stars, but the fries could be better. I have been here many times and the staff is always helpful and fun.

Ordered the ale house burger medium well done, and came out rare. The cheese curds are a must try! Skip the onion rings, you only get 6 of them for $7.99.
