One of my favorite places to eat! My co-workers and I go here for lunch every week. The lunch specials are fantastic. You can easily eat for $6-10 with a beverage and tip. The portions are huge for lunch and dinner. I have dined here for over a year and never had a bad meal. The shrimp with lobster sauce is the best I have ever had. Egg rolls and crab rangoon are a must. Won ton soup is made daily. Hot tea is provided for every meal at no charge and is great. Try the iced tea which is homemade and brewed daily. The service is friendly and fantastic!

It does give you a lot of food but they literally drown it in too much juice to the point where it makes your rice soggy mush. The beef and chicken is okay but it makes the whole thing non likable to eat since its covered in juice. It looks a lot like soup- I barely had opened the box and it was leaking because the juice is filled more than halfway in the box. You definitely can find better Chinese restaurants P.S. - this is the second time I got their food the first time was over a year ago and they still do this.

I went to Yen Yens for the first time around March 5th 2010, and loved it. The pot stickers are simply the best thing i have ever had, and all of the To Gu Beef was amazing. I moved to Buffalo Grove from Charlotte NC on the 26th of April that same year and have been back quite a few times (and place orders to go). Every Single dish has been excellent and the service is unbeatable. I will be back for years and years to come!! I have a hard time eating Chinese food anywhere else as they do not measure up to Yen Yens.

For a restaurant in a suburban strip mall, it was really good. I was hesitant to check it out, but was very impressed. The free tea that was served with your meal was very tasty, the egg roll was out of this world with the peanut butter inside, and my chicken fried rice was cooked just the way I like it. I wish I could find a good Chinese restaurant like this in the city.

Ive been going here for over 20 years . I cant eat any other Chinese ... best eggrolls on the planet bar none! The beef in a nest and shrimp in a nest is the best dish of Any Chinese ive ever had. Who ever gives the food bad reviews will probably also say Panda Express is good chinese food... I challenge anyone to have either dish I mentioned and you will be hooked! Mmmmmm

I was enjoying my kung pao chicken, when I found a pill in my food. Looked like maybe a Tylenol or an oxy. Couldnt really tell for sure because it had been cooked into the food. But I am pretty sure I didnt see it in the list of ingredients for that dish. AVOID this restaurant unless you like unknown drugs in your food. Thanks for almost possibly killing me.

Pathetic...how hard is it to cook a decent dish like chicken and broccoli? Instead of broccoli I got mushrooms, onions and celery. About four pieces of chicken which was way over cooked! The veggie egg rolls were mush inside and after one bite I spit it out and threw the rest away. First time experience and surely the last time!

My husband and I regularly dine at Yen Yen in Arlington Heights. I almost always order the Shrimp Kow Chow Fun and it is always cooked to perfection. My husband is a Vegan and he usually orders the Vegetarian Lo Mein or a tofu plate. We both love this place and highly recommend it to all of our friends.

Soup was like jelly... I was with a group, and ALL of our credit cards were used in a foreign country in the next week after going here. We called the police, but nothing came of it. I am very suspicious of this restaurant and wont risk going back.

Ive always gone to Yen Yens for their lunch special. Its definitely worth the drive to check out this wonderful Chinese restaurant. Its fairly authentic and Ive never been when I havent been able to get a table immediately.

After reading several negative reviews about the service at Yen Yen I was pretty skeptical. However, the waiter was nice and attentive. The food was good(especially Mongolian beef, but Orange chicken I would refrain of).

Really a great amount of good food for your $$$ Several items were a little heavy on the sauce, but the flavors were good... Be sure to plan to share w/ the guests at your table - the portions are really huge! ENJOY

Excellent old school Chinese restaurant. Food comes out on little metal carts just like I remember from my childhood. Great peanut butter egg rolls (Chicago style) and very tasty large portions. Get a tiki drink!
