Beyond horrible. We started off ordering fried mushrooms for an appetizer and they came out partly frozen. They did not bring out another order to compensate. We were the only table in the restaurant and the food took about 45 minutes to come out. When we got our food the fries were completely cold. Also the buffalo chicken wraps we ordered didnt have all the ingredients on them, and there was only a small amount of chicken on the whole wrap. We asked to speak with a manager and she came out and was not apologetic at all. She did nothing to try to fix the problem. Overall extremely disappointed and will never be coming back. Very expensive for horrible bar food.

Great food and best spot on the Chain with sand volleyball on Channel Lake, baggos, yard yahtzee, and a deck out back to enjoy views of the lake. They have new floating docks which are nice for parking boats and easy to walk on. There is a cute Tiki Bar down in the beach area, which feels like youre on vacation when youre relaxing there. They have a swim area and lots of sand toys and even a playground on the beach for the kids. On the weekend, they usually have live music and turn great family and dog friendly crowds. Definitely stop in for a visit.

We stopped by and had the fish fry the other night and were very disappointed. Like other reviewers said the service is really slow and there were very few people in the place. The fish came out luke warm and all 4 of us only ate a small piece. It just wasnt good. We have had burgers in the past here and they were good but again the service was a bit slow. Their bottled beer is cold so they do have that gong for them. I would not recommend this place for food.

Great burgers offering some different toppings, not your humdrum cheeseburger. They even have a HUGE ONE Pounder! Big meaty wings and great sauces! Love that you can get some health sides like hummus and sliced veggies or a basket of fries or cheese curds, something for everybody! Great assortment of craft beers for the specialty beer crowd and of course the old favorites and domestics (PBR)

The Thirsty Turtle Brew and View Pub is awesome! New owners took over recently and have some amazing updates to the place! They have a great craft beer selection, and some very nice craft spirits as well. Try the Tiburon Rum, absolutely great new rum that is local to Chicago! If you are looking for a nice new place to go check out, definitely go check out the Thirsty Turtle!

Thursday night at the Thirsty Turtle is a wing lovers paradise. BBQ, Plain, Garlic-Parmesan or Buffalo, and only 30 cents each. The rest of the menu is great, too. They also have Angry Orchard Cider and a good assortment of beers. In summer, there is a deck overlooking the lake.

Brew And View is AWESOME! The staff is top notch... Very friendly and professional. Wonderful location and a huge improvement over the old restaurant/bar. I had the shrimp and it tasted fantastic, my table was always tended to by the attentive staff. DO RECOMMEND!

The food is amazing and cravable... if you get there on a day when the staff feels like doing it right. Very creative menu for a burger joint and pretzel bun is delicious. However, we have had to wait a very long time and some orders came back completely wrong.

The staff go above and beyond, the views are extremely beautiful. The food is absolutely delicious and the craft beers and other drinks are just awesome as well. I would definitely suggest dining here or having a few drinks or coming out for the night life.

Nice atmosphere outside. However, the service was extremely slow, and there were hardly any people there...middle of a beautiful summer Sunday. Food was average, nothing over the top. I hope they will improve cause its a nice location on Channel Lake.

This place is horrible. Bartender has a personality comparable to a hole in the wall.. Owner lets her dog walk around and craps right next to where people are eating. On the chain all the time. Will never go back here.

Under new management! My wife and I went for taco Tuesday, it was wonderful. $1 soft or crunchy! You can get here by car or by boat. The bartender said bands every other Saturday.
