I was looking for a restaurant in the Joliet mall area to reserve seating for 20 for a surprise party for my husbands 30th birthday. I tried 3 places before Anthonys and none took reservations (Lone Star, Applebees, and Texas Roadhouse). Then I saw Anthonys in my Google search. Ive never been here before so I checked out the pictures and yelp reviews which were pretty positive. I called and they were totally willing to accommodate us. By Sunday, our group had grown to closer to 24, and they quickly accommodated the extra. The service was pretty good, especially considering we all had separate checks. Their menu has a good variety of choices, both food and beer, and everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. It has great ambiance for a pub, and they had the football game on which was at a perfect volume for those to hear who wanted to listen, but not too loud that conversation was stifled at our table. The only issue is parking is scarce so you may have to walk a minute or so to the front entrance. Overall, I am very happy that I stumbled onto this place, and will definitely come back.

Went to Anthonys last night and tried our some of their food and drinks. I had their chicken wings, chicken tenders, meatballs, chopped salad, crab cakes, flatbread, and fried mac n cheese bites. Everything was very delicious and would love to come back to try out the fried calamari. My 2 favorites are the chopped salad and fried mac n cheese bites. I was not expecting the fried mac n cheese bites to be big portions, but I love mac n cheese esp fried. The atmosphere is really nice here. The indoor area was very spacious and has tvs everywhere to catch any game. The backroom was my favorite part because it was all windows. I believe in the summer time they open up the windows which would be cool to see. The service is very friendly and they know their menu very well. I was also informed by the bartender that they make their juices fresh that they put in their cocktails. Not too many bars go above and beyond like that. I would def. come back.

Reserved table for 25 for a birthday gathering as soon as we arrived the owner/manager came up to us and was ignorant . Didnt start the conversation by greeting us. He started by complaining to us about having 25 people and possibly more then one tab going saying it would mess up his kitchen? All we planned on doing was ordering appetizers and drinks all night you think he wouldve been happy that we were there spending money. It wasnt like the place was packed we were the biggest crowd there. The food, drinks, service and the DJ was awesome. It was disappointing that when we got there he was a complete jerk and kinda put a damper on the beginging of the night. Its a great atmosphere and very clean, but unfortunately friends & I will not be returning due to the treatment we were given and its a shame because its such a nice place ..Would love to have had many more gatherings there.

My wife & I love this place, it is a upscale sports bar with amazing food! The management is great and always trying to improve ur experience. Anyone that has been to Anthonys knows they have added 30-40% more security since the February incident, and I have seen street clothed police every time Im there. They have gone over and above trying to keep rif-raf out and keep there customers safe. Sadly it takes only one bad thug to caus a incident like this.....this should not reflect badly on Anthonys or there management as this is something out of there control, sometimes bad people just do bad things and the Joliet police will make sure justice is served! My wife and I will continue to frequent Anthonys and I would highly recommend it to everyone for a great meal and place to watch ur fav team! Dont let a thug ruin a great place to enjoy time with friends!

My third time coming here and this is absolutely the WORST service Ive experienced in a long time. Each time Ive come out was either on a Friday or Saturday night, very busy and received Great service. On tonight, a Sunday...nobody hardly in the place and received horrible service...asked the waitress was she new and she replied no..she should have lied and said yes..maybe I would have understood her continuous screw-ups. 1. Why youre not familiar with the menu 2. Why when someone else finally brought out the food you couldnt check to see if there was anything else we needed, like cocktail sauce for the shrimp!!...etc After reading some of these reviews, Im really trying my hardest not to believe this was because I was black!!! FYI...If your service is not up to part, you may not be in business long..people can go anywhere for good food!!

I had to update my review about this place. This is my second time coming here and it was disturbing to witness the unjust racial profiling done here. This place is swarmed by security who dictate rules contingent upon who is in front of them. The manager, Perry made two African American young men remove their caps to retain them stating that there are no caps after 10pm. I was extremely confused as I am wearing a cap, my boyfriend is wearing a cap, along with about 10% of the paying customers inside of Anthonys. Security then preceded to let several Caucasian men enter all wearing gaps after 11pm. Im appalled at such blatant racism. I will vocalize this experience and never come here again.

I went here only because Tilted Kilt didnt order UFC 203. Nice looking place on the inside, clean as well. The food was salty. I was drinking a lot of water to get that taste out. NOT once was I asked for a refill on my water and the waitress, who was cute just walked passed me. The place could be managed a bit better and not so much salt in the food. Prices were decent for burgers and sandwiches. Sides were slightly more expensive than Tilted Kilt. The Quality of their tvs are very good. They have a much cleaner and brighter picture than those of Tilted Kilt. Nice place, but needs some improvements.

We stopped by for lunch early afternoon on Saturday and it wasnt super busy, we were seated right away. Restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. We both got burgers and fries, neither of us could finish them because the portions were HUGE! I had the regular fries that come standard with the burgers and they were seasoned, I enjoyed them, but heads up they have red pepper flakes and have a little kick if you arent into that sort of thing. Both our meals were right around $10 each which is more than reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Well defintely be back.

Dont bother reserving a table at this place. I reserved in person a table for 12 for the Conor Floyd fight on the 16th of August(watched the lady right it down) she said show up before 8 to get your table. We showed on aug 26th at 7:15 we didnt have a table. The lady that wrote down our reservation said we never had one and that there was no more tables left. I went and watched somewhere else. No point in going to place that doesnt honor a reservation. Never going there again.
