They arent like other popeyes. The managers there are rude, and this store is owned by a different franchisee. Ive been all across the country and I love me some Popeyes. I normally order the 8 piece meal all dark all mild. You cant get that here and yet I called the Popeyes in Nampa and they were more than happy to do that. Thats the meal I get all across the country. And yet here they want you to order that all a carte, they call it a dark meat snack: you get a thigh and a leg and you dont get a biscuit. All across the country I can order a water and I get a biscuit, I can wash my hands and I get a biscuit: Popeyes is all about giving you some free biscuits. I got a coupon for some free chicken because I wrote to the corporate Popeyes about this location and they were very sorry. I had to use that coupon at this location, so I did. And that is the last time I will set foot in there. I will go to Nampa for Popeyes because they are friendly and clean and like all the other Popeyes as Im used to going to. Hell, when I called them up asking about the dark meat, they said how soon are you going to be down here we will drop the chicken right now. Thats proactive and friendly not stuck-up and grumpy and entitled dont go here. The one on Broadway is a good one too and owned by the same franchise he is out in Nampa theyre friendly and they will do the 8 piece dark meat meal for you so go there if youre in Boise and dont want to go all the way to Nampa but dont go to the one on Fairview and dont go to the new one and Meridian because the new one in Meridian is owned by this jerk also.

To begin, my order took entirely too long... way past an average cook time of what I ordered.... The car ahead of me in the drivethru was, "pulled" because their order was not ready, the cashier also told me to, "pull off to the side and get off of their timer and she would bring out my order shortly." (VERY RUDELY) Then the car behind me was also told to, "pull to the side". In which case there was no room left in the small parking lot. In addition to that chaos, I asked the order taker to substitute the biscuits in my order to a diff side, and instead of asking a manager, her reply was, "I dont know how to do that, so you have to just get biscuits." I was appalled by the lack of customer service at this restaurant and blatant disrespect to myself, the paying customer. The last of my my complaint is that by the time I had finally gotten home and took everything out of the bag, I was given NO dipping sauces like I had asked for and I had received regular chicken, NOT spicy like I had ordered which was on my receipt. I will never be going back to this franchise ever.

I ordered 40$ worth of chicken and sides to take home. After ordering I asked if I could get some bbq and honey mustard sauce to go with my chicken. The woman working the register said, and I quote, "Yes, we will get those for you when you recieve your order." I waited for my food and when a younger guy hands me the bag I ask for the sauce I was promised. He tells me they are 24 cents each and that Ill have to go back through the line and buy them to get them. I tell him that the woman working the register said she would get them for me when I receive my food. He nervously looks around, shuffles over to his manager, and whispers to her. She comes over to me and stone faced tells me I have to buy them for 24 cents each. She then walks away without saying another word and continues packing chicken into boxes. I just payed 40 dollars for food here and I cant get a few cheap plastic cups of sauce? You really have to make a scene over that? Why not just slap 3 or 4 cups in my hand and send me on my merry way? I wont come back.

I have a mobile business, so we eat out 5 days a week for lunch. We go to Popeyes in Boise, Nampa or Caldwell, when we are in the area. The service at the Fairview Popeyes is by far the best, out of all of them !!! Hands down better and faster service. Tony the Mgr. is one hard working manager. He leads by example. Him & crew are courteous, professional and fast every time we come in. The place and the food display is clean and organized. The food taste fresh and crispy. In my opinion, Tony should be the District MGR. for all Popeyes in the treasure valley. He should train ALL Managers on how to run a store!! This guy is the best of the best. Because of Tony, we keep coming back and keep telling all our friends and customers about the place. Good job Tony, keep it up !!!

The Bad: It was really busy, about 5 people ahead of me. Waited about 10 minutes just to order and get up to the window. While paying they said something happened with the fryer and it was going to be another 5-10 minutes for my food. Overall took 20-25 minutes from arrival to leaving. The Good: The employee was very nice and sincerely apologized about the delay. She also offered to give me free desserts because of the wait, which I happily accepted and didnt mind the wait. Overall, I have been provided way worse of services from fast food in this past were I was additionally treated very poorly by the employees. The employees here were kind and considerate (even without the offer for dessert) of my patience and thats truly what got them them back up to 4.

Terrible! Absolutely terrible! They got my order wrong three times. I had to finally go in and explain one item at a time. My 4 year old follows directions better than these people. And how you make an order wrong and go to correct it and make it wrong a second time and then a third time is beyond me. Especially with it being a regular order! Nothing fancy or different. Just a number two #3s. The service here is a joke! And the food, even worse than the service! Both my husband and I spent the night vomiting because of their food. Worst experience in my life! Save yourself the aggravation and violent vomiting. Go to KFC.

I love popeyes food but this was the worst drive thru experience Ive ever had. We ordered the family 8 piece meal. They dont give you any kind of sauce whatever so ever for free. Which is BS! They forgot my cheesecake and I got a random large fry that I didnt even order. I dont live in Boise so whenever we come over this way we always stop but I wont be coming to this location again. I understand it gets busy but its not hard to put an order together. For every meal or item you order they should be offering one or two free sauces. Ridiculous.

I normally dont write these, but i feel its my duty this time! This was my first time at a Popeyes, and Im pretty sure it will be my last! (At this one at least.) Every table was dirty, went in to use the bathroom and water was all over the place, and the trashes were overflowing!! Now had they been slammed with customers I could completely understand, but they were far from it. Not to mention they charge you extra for every single little thing, apparently the owner is one greedy you know what!! I will be boycotting this place for sure.
