Oh boy. Okay first of all the night started with it taking forever for us to be seated. There was literally no one in the diner because it was close to midnight and we really just felt ignored. Finally we get seated and the waiter is asking me what I want to drink and Im reading Mr. Pibb right off the menu. And he goes "Dr. Pepper??" And I tell him yeah thats fine and hes telling me that no one calls it Mr. Pibb and the whole scenario is just very awkward because of the way hes saying it. Also our waiter couldnt answer any of our questions about the menu. Very simple questions like "what kind of soups do you have?" And "do you have strawberry cheesecake?" The only time the waiter comes to our table is to is to take our order and bring our food. My Girlfriends drink had food in it? He doesnt check up on us the entire time. Im sitting there with nothing to drink and he is just completely oblivious to our table. By the time he does come to check up on us were full and ready to go. So we ask for a few boxes. The waiter brings us our boxes and we are literally sitting there with all our food packed up in boxes for like 15 minutes. It gets to the point that Im so restless Im standing up around our table. Finally he comes over and he asks "is it okay if I bring the check now?" He brings the check and he disappears to the kitchen again for an extended period of time. Were not sure if hes coming back for the check or if we pay at the counter. So I ask a passing busser if we should go to the counter or wait at our table and she says nothing just shrugs at us. Theres no one even at the counter but getting sick of sitting there we just take our check up there and wait. Eventually a young man comes up and we pay. However we were put into another awkward situation as we were signing our receipt. After such poor services we were unsure about how to tip. However the cashier was making it hard because he was just standing and staring at how we were going to tip. Over all the experience was poor and the only good thing was they let me charge my phone so that we could make it home once we had completed our meal.

Please read fully. Me and my 2 cousins ate here and got food poisoning.i had a burger and fries one cousin had a philly a fries and my other couson had wings. The fries were soggy and disgusting. The burger was simply just that a burger it was meat and bread that is all. We were so sick after that we had to lay in the hotel room for two days and cancel all our plans and for my cousin her birthday was ruined. We were served by christina she was great. Customer service is good for sure. But i called on several occasions and spoke to the manager mario and the managr vinny and they took my name and number and said the owner would contact me but never did, they were saying anything to get me off the phone. The general manger rushed me off the phone and said he would call right back never did. We spent almost 50$ here and were never able to get our money back they took my name and number down everyday for a whole week for nothing. We never got our money back. Still havent gotten to speak to the so called owner who is supposed to call me. I do not recommend eating here. I met a dude in our lobby who just so happened to be telling the front desk about his food poisoning incident after eating there and he told me that they recently had been closed down before and that maybe that was the reason why. Spare yourself the sickness. He had eaten there on january 21, 2017 and we ate there january 24, 2017 yet the manager vinny claims no one else reported being sick after eating there. Worst experience ever and my message to the owne... feel free to contact me sir me and my cousis have been wanting to speak to you for a quite a few days now. Sincerely Davonte Lewis

This place is like a casino. There is no concept of time, and there are people there at any time of the day, and all through the night. You can walk in there at 3 in the morning and there will be 20 other people in the restaurant. You leave, hours later, with no recollection of the speed that time has actually passed. While the menu has anything for any occasion, going from stir fry to pancakes to Philly cheese-steak, what I really plan my trip around when I head that way is the dessert. Upon walking in, you are welcomed by a wall of cakes and pies, some of the most beautiful you will ever lay your eyes on. The serving sizes are incredibly generous, so plan on splitting it with someone, getting a to-go box, or wearing an elastic waist band. The staff has always been playful and upbeat, and the prices are great. My favorite, which I have never managed to snag a picture of because I always dig into it before remembering to take a picture worthy of representing its true beauty, is the blondie. Its a cake made with layers of different styles of cake with the bottom tier being my favorite: cheesecake. The carrot cake, which is featured in the picture included, is heavenly as well. They have traditional desserts such as red velvet, key lime pie, and oreo cheesecake, but they also have lots of creative ones like the blondie already mentioned, the raspberry cheesecake, butter finger cheesecake, and so many more. My sweet tooth could make me run my mouth on and on, but Ive got to wrap this review up before I drown my laptop in drool.

Thank you For The Great Service and Awesome Food!! My Fiance and I visited for the first time on July 5th after having a horrible experience at the IHOP on Hwy 124 on July 3rd. So we were going to try out the IHOP on Hwy 78, turned out to be closed. I Then remembered passing the Metro Cafe Diner one day and hearing really good things about it. So my fiance and I decided to try it out, and our first time there turned out to be a fabulous night!! :) The waitress was a little busy but she immediately took our orders when we were ready, the staff immediately got us our drinks so we didnt have to wait. Atmosphere was clean and tables were cleaned immediately, Food came out at a prompt time, waitress and staff all were very nice!! Food Was Amazing and came out the way we ordered it!! My fiance and I orderd similar items to IHOP and our food ended up being $3 cheaper and tasted better!! They asked us for desert but we were too full to even think about desert. Maybe next time I can try a nice piece of cake. :) Thank you IHOP on Hwy 78 for being closed because you have lost our business to Metro Cafe Diner in Stone Mountain!! :)

My lady and I were visiting on a business trip and stopped by. Dont get mixed drink as they have a weak pour. Stick with wine. There was like a worm or something in my jack and coke so I sent it back and the drink they brought out next was pretty watered down. The silverware was dirty and needed sent back but that happens with dish washers. Just stick with the tossed salad. My lady had the ceasar and it costs more for less. She had the Tour of Milan (tour of Italy knock off) and she liked it. I ordered the New York sirloin. The steak was okay. The vegetables on my plate still had the sticker on it which makes me question if they properly wash the food. The waitress said she would have the manager talk to us. Shortly afterwards a lady walks out and talks to us. To compensate us she offered me more of the same vegetables or a free piece of cake. Our waitress comes out and asked if "he" talked to us. He did not. The waitress wasnt terrible and was still tipped well. Overall maybe try their breakfast? The dinner isnt good and if I was to suggest anything from my stay I would say go to Stone Mountain Pizza.
