I will NOT be returning! What a way to almost ruin your birthday. First we were seated in the back when we walked in. My guess is because I had children with me. My girls are ages 10 and 8 and very well behaved. I told the young lady that we preferred a booth and she sat us in another area at a booth table. Our server came over and said, " I will be taking your order and are you ready to order". I said to her, "and your name is"? She mentioned her name and took our order. It may have been Patricia. That is the name on my receipt. Patricia could have also been the manager. One of my daughters ordered the kids Fettuccine, chicken with Parm Butter sauce and I ordered the Grilled chicken Caprese. First off my daughters meal must of had one drop of butter. Very dry noodles. Better yet they must have used a butter spray to make the noodles look like it had something on it. My serving looked like it was off of the kids menu and the taste was awful (sour). Just to give an idea of what it looked like, a small portion of spaghetti noodles topped off with 4 strips of grilled chicken and cut up tomatoes around it with some type of sauce. I was very angry at this point (boiling mad) but I kept my cool. It was my birthday and my girls and I were having a wonderful day until we visited Olive Garden (Snellville). I sent my food back and asked for more sauce for my daughter so she could enjoy her meal. Someone came over and asked if I wanted something else. A manager, I am guessing. I just ordered an appitizer because I didnt want to risk getting something else that I didnt like. We will never step foot in this establishment EVER AGAIN! TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT! THE BEST THING WAS THE SALAD AND THE BREAD!

First and foremost, the food at Olive Garden has never been anything short of delicious and extremely satisfying to any pasta lover or anyone addicted to chicken and gnocchi soup. My problem was with the service. The waitress failed to greet us with her name so I am not able to mention it but the first thing she attempted to do was try to sell us a $.25 sample of wine (Do not ever do that, it is very tacky, especially since she brought over an almost empty bottle of whatever she was attempting to sell). Second she took our drink orders to which all but one of them was water and we were not served those drinks until after we had finished our soup and salad. Very poor service. Also every time another course was brought out, our old plates were never removed. What happened was that we started stacking our plates for them to be easily removed so we would not have to attempt to find plate space. The manager (a Mr. Gardner) was helpful in bringing the main course out but also failed to remove the two stacks of plates that were in front of him. As soon as his tray was empty, he walked off thinking his job was done. Olive Garden prides itself on being a more than casual fast food family restaurant but I fail to see the difference when I am left to clear my own table of dishes. Is that not why we tip our servers? For their SERVICE? I also noticed other employees walking around aimlessly and not anticipating the needs of their fellow employees or guests. Please take the time to properly train your staff on basic/proper service etiquette. Your guests will be more appreciative in the long run and rush time will flow much more smoothly.

I arrived to the Olive Garden restaurant in Snellville as a party of one. I was seated near the front desk where about 4 employees were gathered. I was told that my server would be with me in a minute. I sat at my booth for approximately 3 minutes before the to-go waitress began to assure me that my server was on the way. 5 minutes later another waitress came to tell me that my server was on the other side clearing a table and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I told her "of course" and suggested that she move me to a more productive area within the restaurant. She seemed surprised at my statement and asked what did that mean. "My server hasnt come and Ive been sitting here awhile so I think he/she is perhaps too slow", I answered. She then left to get my drinks. I noticed at least 9 employees in the kitchen area. Some were counting their tips, some were just talking or standing around, (perhaps waiting on orders). After 10 minutes of waiting the to-go waitress came to my table and said she would be my server. I remarked as to how many employees were in the restaurant and that I was feeling slighted because I had not been given any service. She attempted to offer explanations as to why my server had not arrived but by this time my appetite was gone and I was feeling somewhat angry at the unusually poor customer service. I left the restaurant and told the waitress that my appetite had been ruined by their slow and inattentive service towards me.

Hit or miss. My kids and I came to this location about a month ago and the service was excellent. We had Ashley as the waitress and her service, as well as our good, was so good that I had to tell the manager on the way out of the door. I ordered the spaghetti with five cheese marinara sauce and chicken meatballs. My food was excellent and as always the salad and breadsticks were on point. My kids and I went back last week and the experience was not as good. The waitress was okay but she seemed to be overwhelmed. I ordered the same dish but it tasted blander. Also the only real reason we came back so soon was because Olive Garden sent me a coupon. I felt weird when I told the waitress about the coupon and the manager came to our table to visually inspect it. This was a coupon for 10% off. I felt weird because on my previous visit, I used a free dessert coupon for my birthday and no manager came to inspect it. Maybe its a new policy but it made me feel like I didnt seem trustworthy. Either way, it will be a good while before we visit this location again.

I ordered an expensive plate of food, the shrimp still had its shell on, now this wouldnt have been a problem, but the shrimp was underneath the pasta sauce, so in order to eat your food you had to dig underneath the pasta and sauce and peel each individual shrimp yourself. I got sauce all over my hands and underneath my nails - YUCK. I accidently missed one and while chatting with my dinner date, I got a mouthful of pasta, sauce and shrimp SHELL! Needless to say, I spit the mouthful into a napkin to get it out of my mouth quickly, talk about imbaressing! it all ended up in my napkin after it cut my mouth and throat with the sharpness of the shrimp SHELL! Told Management and our waitress about cutting the inside of my mouth, they agreed that this is a problem and they could not do anything to change their cooking routine but if I would complain to their headquarters then maybe"they" could do something about it! They never compensated me for my $18.00 plate that my bare hands had to dig in! Yuck. It will be a very long time before I go back if ever!
