Im not the one to not like food nor complain. Im a big guy 65 beffy dude with a appetite today. The Pizza at Lucas was ok , a bit to burned if you ask me... Need to watch the pie while it cooks and turn it more often in those big hearth ovens to get a better even Golden burn on the crust. Better off going to Anticos pizza on 14th and Hemphill downtown has way better pie and the taste is far superior to that of Luccas but they have been around for a while and have Italian folks doing it as if were done in Italy. Appetizers were on the very small side for the price ...Meatballs and Marinara sounded great but when u got it you were already starving looking at it plus the other four folks with me were how are we going to split this....haha in reality only two small meatballs and sauce, they failed to mention that only two meatballs came with it on the menu and the sauce has to much water in it separated from the tomatoes and other spices they mixed it with and tasted watered down. I had my family of 5 with me included me Kinda hard to share something so small. Other restaurants like Olive garden and others have better appetizers and know what portion size is for the same price. Bread tasted more of yeast thats been left out to long raising, than it just tasting like good fresh bread. No drinks out of the fountain or unsweetened or sweet tea folks!! All plastic bottle coke products they charge a bit to much for the drinks you can get out in town for 99 cents. 20 ounces drinks 2.50 and gold peak tea 3.50 for 18.5 ounces. Better of bring your own drinks in a large Yeti tumbler. Know I can say that Luccas hasnt been around to long I passed by it when it was being built. And it is still new to making pie and creating it own unique favors but it still has a long way to go Im my book. Being new I will give it the benefit of the doubt but not on stars. Its was alright. Im not anyone special but we all have our own opinion and u know what hey say about that everyone has one... I see all these 5 and 4 stars but I failed to see it when I went. So if u dont like the review no one said u had to read it all the way thru. But u probably did....have a Great day.

We chose this place because it has parking and lots of space for our boys to run without disturbing too many people. Stopping in for lunch on a Saturday, around 12:30pm, my husband ordered at the counter while I directed our rambunctious sons to the patio that overlooks 120 (theres another one on the other side, but it already had other patrons that I didnt want to disturb). The patio is fully enclosed, so I could let them run between tables while no one was around without having to worry that theyd run into the parking lot or back into the restaurant. We got a large Margherita with pepperoni on all and arugula on half. We also got an appetizer of the marinana meatballs. The meatballs came out super fast. 3 meatballs in a giant bowl of sauce, with 4 pieces of cold pizza crust on the side. The meatballs and sauce were fresh (chunky tomato sauce, fresh basil), but nothing memorable. The pizza arrived relatively quickly (the beauty of Neapolitan pizza), and was placed directly on the table. The crust had nice flavor and chew, and nice char on the edges, but didnt hold up to the toppings in the middle, leaving it a soggy mess at the center. Id stick to a smaller size that would allow it to cook more evenly in the future. People were friendly, prices were as expected for fancy pizza in Roswell.

If you want real Italian pizza like you would get in Europe, rather than the horrible, nasty big corporate chain, artificial, over processed, cholesterol pies this place is for you. I grew up in England, spent many years working/traveling in Italy and mainland Europe. The pizza these guys make is the most authentic you are going to find without jumping on a plane to Italy! Yes it really is that good. The base is beautiful, the toppings are perfectly balanced and light on the pallet. No horrible bloated feeling after eating pizza yay! The ingredients are of impeccable quality and the owners put their heart & sole into every pizza they make! Dont walk in the door expecting to get 2 pizzas for $10 its not that kind of place. The product is premium, nothing artificial. Top quality produce like that comes at a price, around $18-20 for the large. The large is very large and will easily feed two hungry or three normal adults. If you want to find out what real authentic pizza tastes like go try this out you wont be disappointed. I cant wait for the weather to warm up so my wife and I can sit outside in the sun eating pizza and drinking wine.

This is a great addition to the Roswell Square area. Neapolitan Pizza made by people who love Neapolitan Pizza for people who love Neapolitan Pizza. Try the namesake "Lucca" pizza -- delicious. All the pizza is great. They also have salads and appetizers, as well as dessert. Beer and wine are available. The dining room is like a giant hall with many large tables. You may end up sharing part of a 8-foot table with another party if the place is crowded. The parking lot is small and they run out of parking before running out of room to dine. No matter what other reviews write, this is NOT New York style pizza. This is authentic neapolitan style with wonderful charred blisters on the edge of the crust from their wood-burning pizza ovens.

Saw this place on Atlanta eats, decided to give it a try. To say that the pie is delicious is an understatement in itself. But even better than the pie was the service. The owner/chef and his wife made me feel extremely welcomed. As this was my first visit, they helped me with my order then delivered an excellent product. They even gave me a slice of cheesecake for me having to wait, which honestly wasnt long at all.. Definitely going back and would encourage others to try this place! You will not be disappointed!!

Came around noon on a Saturday with my wife. We had passed several times and were itching to try the new spot in town. The friendly cashier immediately recognized it was our first time and told us about how everything works. We ordered the pepperoni pizza (much fancier name) and within 10 minutes our order was up. We digged in and were pleasently surprised by the texture and great taste. The service was great too! We will be back soon.

Such a great addition to the Roswell restaurant scene. This place has become our favorite go to pizza place. Dont have to brave Atlanta traffic for Antico pizza anymore! Pizzeria Lucca has an abundance of topping selections and different sizes. They also will add or change toppings to suit, which is such a refreshing change from Antico. Friendly staff, and clean interior. Our pizza is always perfect and delicious. We are regulars

Great pizza place and set up is similar to Anticos Pizza in Alpharetta. Toppings are very fresh and a little better than Anticos. Anticos has a slightly tastier crust. Oh, the knock for on Anticos is you CANT SUBSTITUTE or CHANGE ANYTHING on Their Menu when ordering a pizza which is just plain bad business in my opinion!! Lucca gets it and gives you choices at least!!! Highly recommend for anyone to try out Thier pizzas!!!
