Absolutely the WORST service I have had at a restaurant in years. Our first server looked like she walked in off the streets with stringy hair, took our order, gave us sodas and we never saw her again. Someone else brought our food, then another server (when we were halfway thru our lunch asked us if we wanted anything else (i.e. like dessert), and then we asked for another diet soda and someone else brought us new diet cokes and then left the first cans on table. No one ever brought us a bill, and finally I got up and asked for a manager. I was pointed to the woman at the cashier (who appeared to be the owner). I told her what a poor experience we had, and she started giving me excuses "they got busy", blah, blah, blah. I said I appreciate that, but it was really bad and the food was marginal. Then she gave me attitude and at that point I paid my bill, left no tip (in 40 years I have never not left a tip--I waitressed all thru college), and swore I would never go to this restaurant and be sure I told every person I knew that the service was horrible and the food was marginal. I only wish I had read all these reviews because most everyone else shares about the poor service. HOW SAD....

First time customers who ordered: Panini Benedict: 2 poached eggs served on 2 slices of Canadian bacon covered with Hollandaise sauce........ Panini Salmon: 2 poached eggs served on smoked salmon fresh tomato covered with Hollandaise sauce . The food was enjoyable although somewhat expensive. $ 8.25 & $8.85 respectfully THE SERVICE OR SHOULD I SAY LACK OF............... When we arrived there was only one other occupied table so service should have been exceptional but it wasnt. We requested decaf coffee and water. The coffee arrived promptly but no water. When the order arrived (served by the cook we had to make a 2ND request for the water). After completing our meal we waited for our mystery waitress to return to offer us dessert or the bill. Neither happened The waitress was preoccupied with herself and totally neglected her only customer. After waiting approximately 10 minutes we gave up on this poor excuse for a waitress and requested our bill from the cashier. I can assure you her lack of attention just cost this establishment a repeat customer. I have no desire to patronize any business that is staffed by incompetents....SIMPLY PITIFUL.

Wow....the worst service ever! I actually had to start this account just to rate this place b/c the service was that terrible. I was waited on by an older lady, and she was very rude. My threshold for rudeness is actually quite high which is why this is my first negative review of any restaurant. It almost seemed like it was an inconvenience for me to be there. At the end of our visit, our waitress appeared to be in a hurry to get us out even though there were many tables open. She actually told me to hurry and give her my card when I was paying for my ticket! Apparantly, I was not going fast enough for her. Also, I found a gross looking black thing (some sort of bug or clump of dirt) frozen in one of my ice cubes in my water. The only reason I didnt give this place 1 star is because the bread was actually pretty good. However, I cant give a restaurant a good rating just for good food especially when the customer service was the worst Ive ever had. If you dont mind terrible service, then by all means eat here. Otherwise, find another bakery that is able to fulfill all of the pieces that make up a great restaurant/business.

The was our first visit to the Roswell location and it will be our last. The service was terrible. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come arrive and when it did, it was barely edible. We each ordered their version of eggs benedict served on a baguette. The bread was so hard that even with a steak knife it could not be cut. When we asked the waiter if the bread should be that hard, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "well sometimes." We had to ask for a coffee refill and the water for hot tea was barely warm. We had to seek out someone to even get our check. It wasnt like they were busy either as half the tables were empty and there were at least 6 servers. Very disappointed since my experience at the Marietta location was so much better. Well be going back to Peachtree Diner where the service and food are both outstanding.

My wife and I just left from your beautiful cafe. Food was delicious. The service is extremely HORRIBLE its the worst Ive ever experienced. It was our first time. Our server "Olivia" greeted us with what can I get you tried drink? Rather than greeting us with her name or even asking if this is our first time. She could barely remember the specials, mumbled under breath! Never checked on us once! Even when she was near the cashiers counter sorting silverware, she looked at us multiple times and nothing. We ordered coffee in the beginning and not even a refill or asked. She went on break because we had to ask other servers who were busy with their tables for our check. She was on her cellphone on break and did not even let anyone know. This will be our last time. We run four restaurants and this is horrible.

I so wish I could rate this restaurant higher. The food is tremendous. But the service is some of the worst Ive ever experienced. Just ate there last week. Our waiter brought our drinks, took our orders, then VANISHED. We did not get our food for thirty minutes nor a refill on our quite empty drinks. I asked a woman bussing a table where our waitress was. Her answer? "Oh, shes gone. It was her lunch break." Really. In the middle of service without so much as telling us. Abysmally terrible service. No apologies, no concessions made. Avoid eating here, but dont hesitate to get food to go.

Great service and great food. What more could you ask for? Our server was great and very attentive. I have now been there many times and would recommend it to everyone. I have never had a bad experience with the food or the service. I have no idea why people are complaining about the service here! Do you really want your waiter constantly breathing down your neck every 30 seconds? The servers are knowledgeable and very nice. Stop worrying about the server and enjoy being their with your friends and family having an amazing meal for an incredible price.

All you damm spoiled lazy Americans complaining about "poor service" need to culture yourselves a bit more. In France, at a small bistro of this sort, its customary for the "service" to be light. They prefer to give their patrons some space and not disturb their meal. And before any of you start in on an anti-foreigner comments towards me....Im American as well.....just not the typical lazy sloth like most of American society has been groomed into. Great food and nice ladies working there.

This is both a wonderful place to eat and an excellent bakery to order desserts for birthdays, parties, etc. The food is very, very good, both for breakfast and for lunch. Whats more, the service is outstanding. We never want for anything during the meal, nor do we ever feel rushed or interrupted. As for the desserts, I recently purchased two large cakes for a party and they were a huge hit. I cant recommend this place highly enough!
