Ive been here a few times now. Very popular location for both the lunch crowds and the after work crowds. Whether it be the food or the alcohol, Tavern at Medlock is great for either of those options. Its fairly decent size and seating arrangements are big and ample enough for a large amount of people. You can either grab a booth/table or just pull up a stool at the bar that center the establishment. There a few flat screens and a large projector screen that usually displays which ever sporting event is on at the time. Great place to go if you need a spot to watch the game at. The food here is mainly American food, like burgers, steak, wings, pizza, etc. All good food that definitely fills you up. Portions for some options are more than you can ask for. The biggie calzone is the size of newborn baby, most people end up take that home due to them not being able to finish it. Youll be good with most of the options on the menu, its not overly expensive and you get about as good as you would anywhere else that similar. To sum it all up. The Tavern is great place to relax, hang out, eat, and have a beer. Thats pretty much the American dream! Definitely check it out if youre in the area so you can see for yourself what this place has to offer. My Recommendation: -Calzone (biggie) -Green Chili Burger

If you like to be treated with respect please save yourself a trip and dont go here!!! Ive only been here twice now. I live within walking distance so I was hoping this would be a nice spot but unfortunately both times my girlfriend and I have gone we have been treated very rudely. The first time the service was okay a little slow but it seemed strange that the waitress would visit the tables around us much more than our table. We felt very unwelcome. The second time we sat at the bar I ordered a beer and my girlfriend ordered a coke. The waitress scanned my id for a long time only to say "you look 12" and handed it back with skepticism. Yet again leaving me feeling unwelcome. Then after waiting for a few minutes I had to ask for a menu. Then I said excuse me to the bartender twice and saw her look at me out of the corner of her eye both times only to ignore me both times, she then proceeded to ask the other bartender if she checked my girlfriends Id. Since she was under 21 (19) she made us move from the bar because thats "their rule" even though thats not the law. Regardless if that is their particular rule or not she was looking for a reason to move us out of her face as if we inconvenienced her in some way by trying to order food. Dont worry I wont try to spend my money here again.

Talk about a dirty divehole! Medlock Tavern takes the cake. Me and 2 golf buddies visited this place last Thursday for March Madness. The bartender Kelsey was very rude and not helpful at all. I ordered a philly cheesesteak and asked for only green peppers and onions (yet it was litered with Red peppers) and the cheese? I mean there was no cheese, so it was sent back. Atleast they had 420 on tap. The dude controling the remote was very slow putting on the games we wanted to watch, not a very hard job..yet he made it into one. After watching a few games we took a break and split for awhile. Unfortunately we made a fatal decision to return for one last round of beers. I gave the bartender my Wachovia ordered a beer for me and my friend, due to the tight game and amazing finish I forgot I left my card behind. What should have been a tab for around 15.00 turned out to be for 196.92, now if that is not bad business & shadiness on the unattractive "hoe-bag" looking tramps that call themselves mixoligists I dont know what is. Please take my advice, stay away from the filthy dump known as Medlock Tavern

Food is terrible. Honestly some of the worst food ever served in bars. The drinks are good and servers and bartenders are some of the friendliest around. That is truly this places only saving grace. Let me elaborate about the food. As a culinary professional, I appreciate the menu. It is standard bar food pushing to be above average. However, they fail left and right in execution. I have eaten here dozens of times and have disappointed most of those times. For example, the cheese dip is watery, the Philly is presented like it was stepped on, and the DAMN HOT wings taste like a sauce Stevie Wonder made in room only stocked with cayenne pepper. Stay away from the food. If I must recommend a dish, try the garlic knots. The drinks here are good. The bartenders pour an adequate amount for the cost. The ambiance is safe and comfortable. The staff are very cool and really make the place bearable. It sometimes take an act of congress for them to make initial contact, but once you get their attention they will check on you frequently enough.

This place is great! The service is usually friendly and the food is good. It is a sports bar type of place regularly showing football games amung other things. The owners must be from the Buffalo, NY area because they have a Beef On Weck sandwich and calzones that mention New York. I always get the biggie Calzone whenever I go. It is HUGE enough to be shared by 2-3 people. I have yet to finish one by myself (although I come close every time). They have a full bar (although I have never tried it) and a projector that shows TV on the back wall. There are TVs throughout the restaurant so you can watch as you eat. If you are in Norcross definitely give this place a try. I think its a hidden gem of Peachtree Corners/Norcross.

High Priced Drinks, Low Quality Food and ATTITUDE! That is what I got in Medlock Tavern of Norcross! Whiskey is charged $8+ while it is $5 or $6 in every nearby restaurants. There signature burger is tasteless. When my bill was over charged than what is listed on their menu, the Manager there stopped by with an attitude and gave a nonsense response! yea, dont question his bill..he will charge whatever he wants!!! If you like the so called SOUTHERN ATTITUDES (there is a better term for it but I dont even want to use it), this is the place. Not a penny more from my valet for the Tavern at Medlock, Norcorss.

Used to be a lot better. Girls were friendly as hell and service was always great. Now its hit or miss. Last time in my waitress was visibly ill yet kept serving. Also, there seems to be a cocaine issue among some of the staff as every two seconds a couple of waitresses head to the restroom together and come out sniffing and snorting. One server had coke visually caked on her nostril! lol. Besides this, the food is decent, prices are good, tons of TVs, and they show the UFC PPVs. Ill keep going there until a better option come available.

I would have rated 5 stars two weeks ago but ownership has passed new rules regarding the staff associating with the guests. The wait staff is truly the gem of this place and they are friendly and welcoming and management has killed it. The food is decent, some things are truly great, others just dont work at all. The atmosphere is excellent with the exception of the new rules so dont expect to get to know your waitresses. All of the TVs play the same game so if you are anything but a Bills fan, go elsewhere.
