Be careful if you pay with cash here. I was a waitress for 6 years and I have never seen anything this dishonest. I went with a couple of other people on a weekday during a lunch rush. Considering how busy it was, we got everything in a fairly prompt manner. The food was excellent. My only problem was the waitress. From the start, she was very fake. I dont know if she was just having a bad day or if I reminded her of someone she hated but it was pretty easy to see through her facade. She was like this with every exchange with me, but I just shrugged the bad vibes off and didnt think much of it. Everything progressed normally. When it came time to get our checks, everyone got theirs except for me. She looked confused and then went to go print mine off. She came back, gave me mine and went to go process the others. She returned with the others, and I gave her mine. I was paying with cash. The only money I had on me was a 50 dollar bill, so I gave her that. It was for a 9 something dollar tab. We were all waiting on my check, she came back about 5 minutes later and with completely wrong change. My change was supposed to be for $40.09, and she gave me $30 even, no coins or anything. I looked around for her and she was standing next to the computers talking to another waiter. I went up to her and said that I was supposed to get $40, not $30, spreading out my money so she could clearly see what I was talking about. She decides to (very obviously) play dumb and just kept saying, "Yeah" and pointing to my money. Her demeanor did not sit right with me at all. After politely but firmly repeating myself three times, and physically counting out my money for her, she finally fakes an "Oh", looks at the other waiter, who gives her a $10 to give to me. I didnt even bother with the 9 cents she still owed me. She knew exactly what I was talking about, it was extremely obvious that she had tried to cheat me. Despite her insulting dishonesty, I handed her a $3 tip (which would be +30% on my $9 something tab) to show her that she didnt have to try to rip people off to get even a decent tip. As a former waitress, I can always sympathize with servers. However, even if one were to give her the benefit of the doubt, that poor of math and money-handling skills is just completely inexcusable, especially at a popular restaurant like La Parrilla.

Been there twice with my wife. We both loved the food, drinks and thought the prices great. Would give 5 stars if not for the unconscious rudeness of some of your younger servers. Heres the thing especially when you spend money for a service or product. Proper manners should be a given. When my wife says " Thank you so much" to the server fot bringing out or food, the server is supposed to say " Your welcome" , Not "Uh-huh" or ignore us all together. Im looking at you millenials. Learn some f@$#ing manners and show some respect. And employers quit hiring rude idiots that are making you look bad. Have some industry standards. Use manners or no tip.

I was super excited to go to the newly renovated location, and the decor and the floor space are for sure updated. But can we talk about the poor utilization of the floor space? Huge gaps that could easily be filled with tables. Also, the wait time was to be expected but for our party of 9 we waited for almost an hour during non peak business hours. We were told 30 min. Also, it infuriated me to see staff taking up an 8 top to have meals. (Not saying they cannot eat, but when you have customers waiting... it weighed on my nerves.) I think Ill give it one more try and then I might just have to visit the square location.

Weve been to this location many times. However our most recent visit has ensured that we wont be among their customers any longer. We attempted to place a to-go order by phone at roughly 7p.m. When my mother arrived to pick up our food they had no record of my order. At first i was concerned that i had called the wrong number, since there are several locations listed. I called back and spoke to a different person than the one who took my order. I had called the correct place. We are incredibly displeased.

The food is always good. I particularly like the Pork Enchiladas (Enchiladas de Cerdo). The seafood burrito and fish tacos (tilapia) are always VERY good. Great salsa. Always a friendly atmosphere. Friendly and attentive bartenders. The GIANT 32oz margarita is where its at. Or a 32oz NegraModelo or Dos Equis Amber (No Special Lager on tap). Decent prices. If they had the prices of El Nopalito off of Barrett Parkway I would be there every weekend.

Good service but the food was better pre-revamp. I always get the ensenada fish tacos and this was my first time back since they redid the interior and absorbed the old Chinese restaurant space beside it. The inside looks fantastic. However, the fish tacos left a lot to be desired. They were half the size they used to be, same tortilla size however, just a lot less fish. Too bad, my favorite dish... I will try it again and hope it was a one off.

Very disappointed since they reopened. They have extremely long wait times with visible open tables available. Also when you finally do get seated the food takes forever and it is cold. We loved this resturant before the renovations and never had any issues. The owners did not plan appropriately for the larger space and increase in customers. We are very upset by our recents experience and will not be going back.

The biggest Mexican chain restaurant rip off in the Atlanta metro area. Beer prices are ridiculously high when compared to most other Mexican restaurants in the same area. Salsa to go prices change on a regular basis and never to your advantage. Management at this location is about as friendly as a mother bear with cubs. Will not EVER return, the foods not that good amigo. ADIOS!

Best Mexican restaurant in GA. staff is always pleasant, they will learn your name if you go enough times. Food is amazing, salsa unbeatable, cheese dip fantastic. Great specials, 32 oz beer for 2.50 on Wednesdays, 7.99 fajitas on Mondays and margarita specials on Tuesdays - 12oz for 2.50 I believe. Favorite place to eat at, there on a weekly basis if not more!

Is gud food. I got the #10, two soft tacos with steak and cheese and letus). The rice and beans are really good and everything comes out hot and fresh and well cooked. They expanded recently and wait times can be a bit long but the food is just so worth it. P.S. you need to get the guacamole and cheese dip.

After being to the La Parilla on the Square, we thought this would be a safe restaurant. Our food was fantastic, beer ice cold, Margarita delicious, and our service was great. I had the chili relleno (poblano) and my husband had a combo. We were both really full and happy. Will definitely be back!
