Ive been a regular of this restaurant and specifically this location for a while now, a couple of the bartenders know me by name and if not then they definitely know my friend Matt. I wanted to take the time to put the word out about the amazing job these people put in. A lot of people have a misconception that when you hit a restaurant at their slow point you should get the best possible service and product. This simply isnt true, with a staff as lively and professional as this their slow time is spent preparing for the gradual increase, and eventual peak in customers... When you "Should" be coming in. Like all restaurants unless youre in for brunch, you hit them when theyre pedal to the metal and the beer flows like water. The appetizers are on point, Banging Shrimp and Ahi Tuna in particular are money. Their steaks are always perfect first time out. Wings are perfectly cooked and never sauced before theyre dropped for that sharp kick to the teeth and crispy texture. The bartenders are irreplaceable. Seriously. Just wow ladies... Should all be proud. To sum it up Ive had a lot of good memories of this place and intend to make hundreds more. Like probably this weekend... More than likely the next too. As a Culinary School graduate from a program with a deep focus on front of the house and ala carte menus I can honestly say I would be severely challenged to find anything bad to say. You want the true Olde Towne experience? You show up when every other restaurant is in panic mode. Watch these men and women put it down like money. Some people go into a restaurant looking for reasons to complain instead of looking to enjoy themselves. This staff is battle tested, and will still be rocking long after the people dropping negative reviews have moved on to their next "Two Star" restaurant.

My husband and I deciding what to eat in the area chose this grill. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable I love the Decore we were seated right away and our server Christine was wonderful. Their signature drinks were cool and refreshing I had the peach Mohito and my husband ordered the peach iced tea. For starters my husband ordered the garlic knots those were wonderful and buttery and a very large portion served with marinara and Cheese saucel .The French onion soup was very disappointing. I dipped my spoon into the cheese and lifted out some of the broth and it was tepid. Had my hubby test it as well to make sure it wasnt just my opinion. I asked Christine if they could possibly make it hot. She took my grievance to heart and was very sorry and apologized. When it was returned to me all the cheese has solidified in the bowl. I do believe chef could have taken the extra step and redo and prepare it over for me in a more desirable fashion. My husband ordered a 12 ounce prime rib it was cookied to his liking absolutely tender and juicy. We also ordered the gyro pizza. It only had a few slivers of meat. My husband after dinner order the Irish coffee and it did not have the whip cream on top the way you described in the menu. Its just a small attention to the details I know but sometimes its all in the details. Our check came close to $100. It was an ok experience but for 20$ more we could have dinner at one of Atlanta top French restaurants.... Petite Auberge. In my extensive years of restaurant management I think this establishment has the ability to pull themselves up and be outstanding and remarkable . Since the place was not busy when my husband and I came I think it needs to be reinforced that going the extra mile would really profit this place tremendously

Simple order, no service provided, negative kitchen staff... Walked in, ordered two slices of cake. Was directed to wait at the bar. Pulled out my ID to also grab a quick drink. Bartender said she would be right with me. 10 minutes went by and the bartender never said anything else to me. Another girl handed be a bill for the dessert I ordered. I pulled out a $20 for the bill. All still while no order to buy anything from the bar, where I was sitting and starring at the drinks with my id in my hand. Another girl gave me my 2 slices of cake. Once was the normal size; but looked like someone cut the off 4 fork fulla for themselves. The second slices looks like something you would give a 4 year old. Whomever did the cake slicing in their BOH needs not be working the dessert station. I had a slice last month and it was the correct size. Bartenders need to be trained to assist "all" guest, upsell drinks and check IDs of persons sit at the bar. Obviously something that non of these staff memembers do. They must not have had a liquor license check yet . Will not be returning.

Old Towne has gone down hill. Not sure if its new management or ownership. Last three visits have shown a drastic decline in service and food. My wife and I cane in once just for drinks at the bar, it wasnt crowded but the bartender seemed to be more interested in hanging out with other staff than making money. Our last visit they had a magician entertaining patrons at tables. He was great seeing as he was the one who finally decided to ask our drink order as no server had come to us after 15 minutes of waiting. He literally had to go ask three servers if they could do their job. I ordered a salad that was about $12, when it arrived the romaine was warm and brown and was the size of a side salad. We use to enjoy going here as its close to work but it will be a while before we return to test it again.

Had a small Christmas gathering with friends today at Olde Towne Tavern & Grill n Lawrencville, GA and the experience was excellent from walking in the door to the end of the meal. First, the three different appetizers we ordered: Garlic Dough Knots, Chips Salsa & Queso & Spinach Artichoke dip were all delicious and served with a friendly, smiling face from our server. Next the entrees were all very different from chicken wings to French Dip sandwiches but were all cooked & seasoned perfectly. The prices were completely affordable and the ambiance in the restaurant was warm & inviting. We couldnt have had a better experience which only enhanced our seasonal fun. Thanks!

We came during lunch. Waited for hostess for 5 min when barely anyone was here. Saw our waitress maybe twice. She forgot our appetizer and asked if we still wanted it when the food came. The mushrooms on my house salad were old. The ranch was a weird buttermilk type. Only a few tomatoes and cucumbers. I got the $14 stuffed meatloaf, which was barely stuffed with anything and pretty bland and not worth the price. My sons Mac and cheese was all sauce and not much noodles and bland as well and the baked apple side was obviously from a can. Will not be back, but after speaking to the manager, she removed the meat loaf.

Worst service, best food. I keep going back because of the food despite the consistently terrible service. Last night I finally had enough and walked out. My fiance and I waited for 10 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order... or at least acknowledge that we were sitting there... but nobody ever showed up. We finally asked the hostess to call our waitress over to our table and she simply said "give me a minute." And then nothing happened... I think the problem is that the management seems to only hire cute young girls and this demographic is not known for prioritizing!
