Update 3-16-2016 This is my 3rd review, 2nd update for BurgerFi in downtown Kennesaw. See Yelp for the entire thread as Google limits the characters. Two of us stopped by Tuesday night approximately 6:20 p.m. and it wasn’t busy at that moment, a good thing for us as we were ready to eat. BF now offers a modified Brisket Burger (2 patties) with some type of honey “something” sauce, so I opted to try it. The other burger was a single cheese with grilled onions, plus a side of fries. Ordering process was very slow; in-fact the process seemed complicated for the host. I rolled with it and hoped this wouldn’t set the tempo for the rest of this visit. Our order took 19 minutes to receive, and based on the lack of customers, unacceptable. The kitchen staff was working in slow motion, and I know this, as it’s an open kitchen and since we had excessive time to kill, we watched them. They were operating like they were cooking for 1 family at their home, not a restaurant. One – thing – at – a – time – slow. “You’re killing me Smalls!” There was no flow for the employees work pattern; there was no pattern at all. Everything was clunky, like my kids helping me in my kitchen. We could see our order on the tray, but the young lady gave it back to the cooks. There was a back-n-forth conversation, and after a minute, decided to give us our tray. She finally set off the buzzer and we collected our meal. I can state the appearance of the food was a ray of sunshine (see picture) and therefore my hopes soared. Brisket burger was cooked correctly, not over-cooked or burned, rather still juicy which I was about to discover just how juicy. As I attempted to pick-up my burger, I didn’t know the bottom portion of the bun was completely saturated in grease, so-much-so grease saturated pieces of dough (bun) seeped through my fingers as grease dripped down my hands; eliciting a “Gross” from my 11 YO. Essentially, I had a bottomless burger. The burger itself was good, nice flavor. I had desired a bottom bun, yeah… 2nd burger however was well overcooked, very dry and rubbery. How much so? When a hungry 11 YO pushes half the burger away and states, “its just Ok”, red flag. My kids eat burgers like flies attacking food at an outdoor picnic. This was an issue. I tried it, and yes, a dried out patty was sitting between the buns. My reply? I’ll just state, not good. Fries were good, tasty. We should have bought a larger order. Closing. BurgerFi has clearly become hit or miss. They really do have a good concept and their product was outstanding in the past, it’s not anymore, but doesn’t mean it can’t be outstanding in the future. My appreciation for them has dwindled down and frankly, the words BurgerFi has already left my vocabulary. We went from going monthly, to tapering off drastically. My previous visit in Dec 2015 left a bad taste in my mouth, and this visit did little to improve it. So, if we go again, I’m thinking summer 2016. I’m sure they’ll have all new employees and maybe they can get it right.

Food is Pricey. A cheese burger, chili cheese fries and a fountain drink cost almost $20 dollars. The claim to be similar/better than Five Guys. They also claim that their burgers and fries are all natural. They also sell a selection of beer bottled/in plastic cup. The burgers are small and the fries were soft/soggy. There is a also a covered place to sit on top of the restaurant. Dont go for the Wi-Fi. It is very slow. The town square in Kennesaw is supposed to have free Wi-Fi, but I was unable to connect to that either. I had to stand half the time after I received my long overdue order because there was no where to sit. The is also a single mens and a single womens restroom with one toilet in each. Be prepared to hold it if they are busy. The food gave me stomach cramps the rest of the evening. Eat at your own risk... JDL Update: The review by Gabby G seems to be fake since she even knows a personal background of the store manager. Lol. You know what I mean? How many people do an interview of the store manager while eating at a restaurant? Lol.

Way too expensive. Burgers are very plain in taste, buns are like they were microwaved. Not sure what the draw is here. My hamburgers at home are better. Onion rings were huge and good. fries just OK. Everything has a very plain taste. Beer on the menu is a plus. Not a terrible place, just know Ive had better much better for less. Definitely will not make a return visit. ***UPDATE*** in reply to owner. Im sure all you say is true, however, your burgers are very PLAIN in taste, nothing special. If you want a plain tasting, expensive burger, by all means try this place. Delicious? Thats a stretch, its plain tasting beef that’s never frozen, hormone and antibiotic free, as you say. Its not bad, just not what "I" like. Good luck to you Burgerfi! Im sure there are people that like expensive, plain tasting food. I will agree, the customer service was good. Placing my order and paying my money at the counter was done very well.

Now this is a place Ive always wanted to eat at in one if my favorite places in Georgia. Now from the outside it looks like a lean and "modern" restaurant, that might steer you away as it did for me. Mainly I thought that the look made it seem like a vegan place, my bad. But anyways this place had fast service and one of those NEW COKE MACHINES, you know the touch screen ones, as well as lemonade. For my experience I was able to eat on the roof which has a TV and a cool view of Kennesaw. With all that said the burger was great, I had the CEO, and very tasty. The fires were fantastic as well and in big quantity. All in all this was a great place for a quick lunch next to the tracks.

Absolute worst dining experience ever. It was freezing cold inside, the team seemed totally disorganized and lacking in leadership, not to mention somehow both overworked and stumbling over each other because of too many people in the kitchen. The line was out the door and after ten minutes they hadnt even taken one persons order, not to mention how unacceptably rude the manager was when I saw someone ask for their Messed up Order to be fixed, and he told them to fix it themselves or get in line. I left without even ordering, the last time I had a burger there it wasnt even as good as steak and shake. I dont think this burgerfi location will last if this is how they run things.

I ordered online and payed a lot of money for it. They messed up the most expensive burger (it was not brisket like wed ordered) so I payed 10$ for a product I did not receive. The guy who was responsible for our order was blatantly checking out a customers behind and was obviously distracted and almost forgot the milkshake we ordered and DID forget the soda wed ordered. (My roommate went to pick it up, otherwise I would have known what was missing before it got to my house) and THEN when I tried to call to get a refund for the missing items, no one picked up the phone. Suffice it to say, I will NEVER be eating here again.
