Me and my family were always big customers we always ate there because the salsa was so good. I am writing this review because of the salsa. That was the biggest reason we named Fajita Grill in Dawsonville, Ga our favorite Mexican restaurant, before the salsa was not too spicy. Me and my family love spicy food, but we dont like it to the point where 4 chips with salsa and your eyes/ nose are watering. We went there one night and we had noticed they are these white things in the salsa maybe onion or garlic clove in it but that is where the "hotness" is coming from. It is seriously so spicy hot it feels temperature hot! This is coming from some one who eats jalapenos with out eye watering!! So if you dont like salsa or you like it unbelievably hot then I recommend this restaurant, but if you like eating chips and salsa for a appetizer or salsa on your Mexican dish dont go here! Wish they would use different onions if its the onion and if its fresh garlic cloves try using garlic spice not fresh chunks of garlic! Would love to come back to this restaurant, but not until the salsa cools down.

First off I would like to explain my rating. The food here is always superb!! But the hostess and a few of the waitresses here are extremely rude. They act as tho their bored with their job and every customer is an idiot. Rolling their eyes, sighing, and just plain aggravated when asked a question or to simply grab some limes for you. If youre going to roll your eyes after being asked to get something, at least have the decency to do it where we are unable to see you. I am a firm believer on tipping your waitress well because i was also a waitress at one point, and i know most rely on tips because pay is normally poor. But after receiving the service i have today. I will not be tipping whatsoever. All it takes is a simple smile and a decent attitude to perform your job. From now on, Ill just be ordering out from here rather than coming in!

Great place! My husband and I were staying at a hotel 25 miles away. Traveling and decided to have lunch here. Our servers name was Marlene. She was very attentive and provided excellent service. The salsa and chips were awesome. I think that was the best salsa Ive ever eaten. Tasted freshly made to perfection. My husband had the Taco Salad and loved it. I had the "El Guapo", which is was a Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. It was insanely good. Served nice and hot and wonderfully cheesy. Overall the service was great, food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would recommend it to anyone. I hope we travel through this town again. We will definitely come back.

The team working the early shift should really consider being a little more aware of the people around them. We sat in a booth for about 20 min. Got passed by a little blonde waitress about 15 times. Never once did she stop to ask us for our drink order or bring chips and salsa. After pass 15 my parents and I left. Im up visiting for the weekend and my parents really wanted to take me here. Thanks for your wonderful customer service. Now I remember why I hated this place to begin with.

Fesh food well presented and full of flavor, not slop on a plate covered in refried beans and queso sauce like other local establishments. Typically, you can find all you can eat wings and live music on a Wednesday night. The staff is always friendly. This is my favorite place in Dawsonville to eat.

Had the chicken chimichanga... and as it should be... the outter layer was nice and crispy and very delicious overall. Plus I had some "Old Dads Original" wings since it was wing night Wednesday. - Oh soo good! And the staff was nice & courteous.

Wednesday, old dads wings; all you can eat option.....well you wont need to because they arent that good. They use frozen wings that are tiny, a mustard based wing sauce, and then top them with lemon pepper seasoning that makes them way to salty.

We love Fajita Grill, the food is great (especially the El Guapo Quesadilla) perfect salsa, thick chunky and lots of cilantro.. Yum, thin crunchy chips, great sweet tea ( awesome with a lime) great service, great atmosphere.. Check it out..

Terrible is an understatement. Had to find someone fill drinks and get more chips because our waiter wasnt around. Food came out wrong. And when our waiter finally came by he acted like it was no big deal. I wish El Rio wasnt closed today

The salsa and chips were tasty and my cheese and chicken enchiladas were decent but the relleno was inedible. My waitress was very pleasant and attentive and was happy to promptly remove the inedible food from my table and my ticket.
