Besides the fact that every employee has always been extremely friendly and you can tell that each one of them ms8 wonderful and rarely seen work ethic these days. Parking can be a bummer sometimes but theres a reason for it- is because of how great the service is like I said before and of course how wonderful their food is. I would suggest on any day possible if you have a chance to go there or if you happen to drive by it--STOP and find out for yourself exactly what Im talking about.Lastly Id like to note that the owner is also one of the cooks and he always tries to make it a point to come out and say hello to each and every customer that comes in to eat you cant find this kind of managerial skills anymore. Im certainly proud that I live in the city but when you have restaurants like this and people still around that treat you like family its very rare and just thought that I should have that as well.. We went there today in hope that something had changed about the way they cooked. To our surprise nothing has. We ordered two specials and a chicken finger plate. The only thing that was good was the chicken and hush puppies. Everything else came from either a box or a bag. It was not hard to tell. By the time we got home with the country fried steak the fries were soggy and stale. The gravy on the steak was so hard i could only scrap in of with the fork and the tea tasted of water. I will not be coming back.

Came here while visiting our son, and WOW. Great service and even better food. Had the fried pork chop sandwich and fried pickles as an appetizer. When these folk state large portions it is more like huge. We all shared the pickles thank goodness for that because the sandwich was massive by todays standards. The flavoring is simple and perfect. I would definitely make this a food stop if you are anywhere near Dahlonega.

The people there are amazing. Its not just good service. Theyre genuinely good people. The owner came out several times to talk to other patrons. The wait staff is more than pleasant. And the cooks are very fast and very accurate with cooking to order. The parking lot is a little cramped but Id be more than happy to park a few blocks away to revisit this place. It was awesome.

Ordered the cheesestake with fries and slaw and tea. Slaw was just shredded cabbage nothin in it and the bun was two hotdog buns not a sub roll as the menu said. Other people with us had different items and nothing was good. The best part was the fries The tea was soured so everyone ended up exchanging it for come.

Got a reuban to go and drove home total of 15 minutes and sandwich was so soggy had to eat it with a fork and knife. Called but they only wanted to replace my bread which is unacceptable. Will be a long time before I ever eat there again.

Get the cheese steak omelet with salsa. Also, its not a perfect breakfast without some gravy on the massive biscuits. Phenomenal food and incredible wait staff. Cant wait to come back for lunch.
