Technically part of the University of North Georgias Dinning Services, and managed by Armark, this Starbucks is open at times when other UNG services are not. Its close to the downtown area and open to the public. If not comfortable the venue does have plenty of space for large gatherings and meetings. Parking is not readily available near the building, consider free Parking off the town square. Includes free WIFI (courtesy of the University, not AT&T), common ports for VPN connections are blocked by the school which means your usual attempts to protect your data while connected to an open hotspot are useless. The upside is a slightly better than average connection speed.

I drove north of Atlanta for a personal get away. I love Dahlonega and this particular Starbucks which is joined to the NG campus store. I admit the parking in this area can be a drag on a Saturday! I met a store representative named Morgan, she treated me like shes known me for years. I had a few concerns and she was of extraordinary help guiding me and answering my questions. Kind and friendly service really does matter these days. Bravo Starbucks Dahlonega for hiring fine people and Thank you Morgan for your super attitude.

I come in to get my "treat coffee" only on days that Im most stressed with tests and school. I have had the luck of miss Margie taking care of me more than a few times. She makes my day go much better because she is always happy with a warm smile. Behind the counter is very well managed and even while slammed with orders the crew follows her lead. I normally avoid the chain coffee shop in general. But in this case the people make the logo not the other way around.

I called to see if they had a drink I wanted. They didnt have the recipe, but the young lady was so accommodating. She told me if I brought the recipe they would make it. The manager seemed unhappy about her making it for me, complaining about food costs(even though the drink was advertised on the Starbucks website). But the young lady was so kind and helpful. I wish I knew her name. I will definitely go back because of her fantastic service.

My friend ordered a drink and we and they didnt give it to him. But they said they would give him a gift card. But they instead gave him a card and it said if you buy 9 drinks you get one free and I know that nota gift card. So the Starbucks suck and I hope they go out of business.

Way over priced coffee. The only place in Dahlonega that I will most likely never go again. Everywhere else we went, we were greeted with a smile and felt welcome. Stuffy, stuck up staff here. Only concerned with moving people in and out the door and getting their money.

Often make the drinks wrong and laugh about it. Some of the staff is extremely unprofessional in the workplace. When the seasoned staff is there the drinks come out right, but the professionalism still lacks.

Regular fare for Starbucks, good service. Always a wait though. Convenient location for college students. Plenty of outlets for electronics and fast Wi-Fi if you need internet.
