The food is amazing here and thats the only thing thats good. Where do I start..... lets just say you can receive better customer service at Wal-Mart. Unfortunately to make things worse the management is worse that the servers. I went there Friday night and it was extremely hectic and busy. The server was horrible with no customer service, I noticed a lot of tables complaining on how slow the food is and that they were not getting their water refilled etc. The manager offered to cover their checks for the inconvenience because they were Indian and regular customers. So the food took over an hour to get to the table, the server just never came to the table. I had to call the manager few times to get water and see how long on the food. What made me more upset than anything is that the manager didnt even offer to take $1 off for the inconvenience of horrible customer service and long wait for the food. This was my first and last time here at this restaurant. There are plenty of Indian restaurants in Atlanta with better customer service and management. The managers name is Marty and he is horrible at accommodating American customers , unless you are Indian customer you can forget about it. Its really sad because I know few friends that had the same issue here and will not be returning here for the same reasons. I will say that their host was better in customer service than manager and server combined. The manager needs to realize that the people will buy from who they like, You can have the best tasting food in the area but if your customer service is horrible and waiters are bad people will go somewhere else. You cant pay me enough money to come back here.

Tabla in downtown Atlanta. Two words - horrible service. The best service we received all night came from the host who was able to seat us without reservation because of a cancellation. Thank you host. Now to the server who didnt seem to have or want a clue of how to cater to paying customers - it took ten minutes before water was even brought to the table. Its a crying shame when a table was sat fifteen minutes after us got their food 15 minutes before us. Before bringing us the check, our server came by our table twice - once to take our order and a second time to be embarrassed by the manager who let him know that he abandoned us during service. As you may think the manager recognizing his employees incompetence might light a fire under his butt, his incompetence to try to turn the evening around for his guests left a bitter taste in my mouth. By no means, were we looking for a handout at this point in time, but the fact that he was unable to remove naan bread that was just $3 on the total bill as a sign of good faith or to smooth over the horrible experience stomped me. This was really a surprise since they could have used the naan bread as a distraction to have us eat something until the food arrived. Think people! Dont get me wrong the food was good, but if you are reading this review know that you can get just as good or even better where the service is at least average and the price isnt as steep. Research your options before going here!!

Poor customer service ever. Not worth going to this place as you will be very dissapointed. im an indian myself and i would never suggest anyone to go to this place. This place is filled with bunch of DISRESPECTFULL MORONS working there. I have given my opinion on the food i had fried okra (more oil less okra) and when i told the waiter i got a reply saying "this is how it suppose to be me" wait what ? wow. was my reaction. they wont take your opinion. not just that no one has even came once on our table to ask how are we doin? and they actually came in twice to ask are we done? are we done? rushing us... so they can go home i believe. cheapest customer service that u could ever get. just about everyone works der has no standard of customer service and guess wat? they will make u feel that you have no standard. i would rate this below par. i hate giving them even one star as i dont see an option for no star. if der was an option for no star i would rather rate them a big "0" and i dont write reviews this is my 1st time writng a review and it tells that how dissapointed i was with the service they offered. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!

Really enjoyed this place - the interior is sleek and modern, and our waiter/host were friendly. The waiter recommended to me the chicken tikka masala, while my boyfriend got the lamb korma. There were only a few pieces of meat in both of our dishes, and they only came with a side of rice so we had to order some naan separately (the garlic naan was really tasty though!). My tikka masala was pretty good, but the korma was absolutely amazing. Also, their online prices have not been updated - online it says their curries are $13, but we paid $16 per dish. But overall, I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to my friends! Side note, there is a parking deck next to the restaurant. The parking prices are ridiculously expensive ($30 for over an hour) but if you go inside and ask about it, they will give you a ticket for validated parking.

Dear Patrons I know some of you dont like the service of this restaurant because the owner hires only cheap chef and chief waiters here the waiters dont get any tip it goes to the owners pocket however with this tip money the owner pays the salary to waiters which is about $ 450.00 a week after working 60.00 a week and these waiters has no experience about food and hospitality so blame the owner.well in my opinion no Indian restaurant wants to hire professional waiters because the owner wants to save money and the chefs who are working here has no prior experience they never worked in any hotel in India they just came here join the restaurant as a helper in the kitchen and how can you get the real taste of Indian food if you go to California and NYC then you get great service and tasty food.

This review is for delivery, at the location may be different. I ordered the korma, with paneer, expecting a good Indian vegetable korma, and received just paneer in korma sauce (which was good sauces) with rice for $16!!! Im a vegetarian and I dont particularly care for paneer, I usually just pick it out and eat the good veggies with the sauce and rice. So lets just say my dinner was lacking. The portion size was also really small. Was hoping for something a little higher end, but I guess its back to planet Bombay for me. They have a fab vegetarian meal, and Ill actually get some veggies rather than just sauce for my naan. Probably wont be trying out the in restaurant experience since it doesnt seem like they have a meal option for my diet.

I knew this place was going to be good as we started to smell the rich spices from a block away. We started with cocktails and were very pleased with their quality and quantity! I had the Garum Old Fashioned and my wife had the House G&T. The samoas we got for an appetizer were maybe the best Id ever had and the perfect blend of creamy and crispy textures. For the main course I ordered Chicken Vindaloo and was warned about the hotness of the spice. It was just on the edge of too spicy for me and I have a pretty high tolerance for spice but I enjoyed it very much! My wife got a veggie dish whos name escapes me but it was fantastic! And to scoop it all up was maybe the best Naan bread Ive had. I cant wait to go back!
