TL;DR: Pass on this place. Find another sushi place in the area. Especially if theyre busy; they dont have staff that can handle it. Waiter was flippant and rude and messed up our drinks and checks. Waited over an hour for food. Food was decent, but over priced. Our waiter didnt remember our drink order so we waited for those. Didnt take our order until after our drinks were delivered. Then our food took an hour to come out. That would have honestly been totally fine with us since they were busy, but we didnt get so much as a water refill the entire meal, so that already struck us as poor service. When we asked for an update on our food after an hour we were told "Well, I told you it would take a while and you ordered it anyways. I said it would take longer the more sushi you ordered." (which, we barely got to tell him our order before he walked away, so we didnt get told this at all.) For a place that bills itself for sushi, thats a crappy attitude. Our checks were wrong and our waiter offered "Well, Ill charge them again but it wont fix itself until tomorrow." and walked away, leaving us to sort out our checks by ourselves. He put a whole $70 worth of extra food on our check, so that was the last straw. Pass on this. Go to another sushi place around in the area.

Ive ordered two seperate meals here; the defining word for both would be "Greasy". Hardly fusion, unless its a fusiion of asian and deep fried southern foods--leaning heavily to the deep fried side. No, the food wasnt deep fried, but tasted as if it had at least as much grease as it would have if it was deep fried. First the "Kobe Beef Pizza". You would expect a quality or gourmet pizza with steak. Sorry, its hamburger, cheese and an extra helping of grease along with the other ingredients. Next I tried the "Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai". It sounds good, it looks good, but it tastes nothing like any Pad Thai Ive ever had in Bangkok. Now admittedly, American Pad Thai is generally poor. But at least it usually has some Thai taste to it. Not so here. The shrimp tastes boiled, the chicken is good, and there is lots of extra grease. Lots. Now, if youre a fan of southern fried foods, and think all food should be greasy, then youll probably love this place. If youre expecting a quality asian food experience then I believe you will be sorely disapointed. Ive not tested any of these foods, this review is just my opinion and impressions. On the good, side the decor was very nice and the service was excellent.

I work in the area and have eaten there dozens of times. Pacific Rim has a nice atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff. The Malaysian curry chicken (like a masaman curry) is very good and can be had hotter if you ask. The Basil chicken is also good, with a clean, simple flavor if youre not as adventurous or hungry. The Obento specials are a treat and their curry roll appetizers are good. The Pad Thai should be avoided. Its nearly flavorless and a real disappointment. Their sushi is usually good, though on rare exception Ive been disappointed. (Eating there at lunch they have two chefs choice options--Im not sure about dinner.) If I were eating downtown its one of the few restaurants Id safely recommend. Alternatives: Tsus, which is their sister restaurant (try the Spicy Annas Seafood Soup if you go); or Rays In the City, which also serves sushi nearby I think is better, but is more expensive.

Met here with two others for a business lunch - tons of people from the bank eating in suits. The décor is very modern and service was friendly and attentive. When one member of my party was 10 minutes late to arrive, the server kept wandering by to ensure we were OK and that we didnt want to order any appetizers or anything while we waited. I ordered the Tokyo Ramen noodle soup dish for lunch. At $12 it was a great deal - best looking item on the table (the others ordered bento box lunches with different curries). The soup was delicious with some pork spareribs, a hard boiled egg, and tons of noodles. The part which really made the soup taste great (for me) was the thinly sliced pickled ginger floating on the top. The soup tasted great and I totally managed to eat it without splattering all over myself - always a big plus!

I visited the restaurant as part of a vacation/pre birthday trip to Atlanta this past January. The food was great, the venue is absolutely gorgeous and the service was wonderful. Wilson, our server, was very attentive to the table. The guest count was approximately 10; Wilson was friendly and courteous to each one of us. Also the manager of the venue came to check on us a couple times too. The concern and attentiveness shown to the patrons by the restaurant staff definitely make this place one that Id recommend to anyone, anytime they visit Atlanta. Thank you to all. BTW, the spicy Thai Brussel Sprouts were awesome, and are now my new favorite from the restaurant.

Incredible food and staff made this a highlight of our recent Atlanta / DragonCon experience. Rather than fight through the food court or an overpriced hotel restaurant for the Con, we settled on a quick dinner here. We werent disappointed. When we mentioned that we were meeting friends in an hour, they recommended dishes that were simmering in kitchen. Thai curried lamb for me and panko crusted chicken for my girlfriend were spicy without being overwhelming & presented just right amount of heat. The serving staff was incredibly attentive and even made sure our parking in a Sun Trust complex was validated. A+

My fiancé and I found this place on Google after finishing a meeting with a client here in Atlanta. From the start the Host was awesome and Chris our waiter was very attentive to any and all needs. This was our first time here and Im really glad we are here. Its Thursday December 22nd and it was about 7pm when we arrived. They kindly seated us right away. All the food was phenomenal and they were kind enough to finish it off with a tasty cheesecake spring roll for dessert. 2 thumbs up to Pacific Rim Bistro. Definitely worth the drive to revisit.

Our family was looking for a place with good seafood, steak, chicken, and sushi. A tall order for our family of 8 picky eaters. We all loved the food! The sushi was some of the best I have had. Everyone had a great time too. We have a 1 and 3 year old, and the staff was great with them and went out of there way to give them fun things to play with and do (we were a bit concerned at first because they didnt have a kids menu or the typical crayons for kids) so we were able to enjoy a great night out with excellent food and service!
