with being thankful to my friend who has introduced this restaurant, even with a strict standard, I could start with the strength. As broken down, the components are followings; service: very kind, especially, considering myself as a drinker while eating, Ive never seen my cup empty while I was eating. Since I think that the tips should reflect only the manner and service quality, it is true that it has been long time to think they deserve my tip. taste: I could say 8 out of 10 when considering only taste itself. A bit spicy, but spicy even seemed to be attractive. However, my one was somehow smooth at some point. So, 8 out of 10. price: considering the price together, taste would be 10 out of 10!! this is the price that cheap as much as the price thought to be non-sense. However, their mood, strictly speaking, interior is somehow outdated. This is the only one that they have to fix. If so, their value would increases twice, I guess.

I tend to be a picky eater, but EVERY thing we ordered was fabulous! We tried Hot and Sour Soup (terrific, even without won tons), Egg rolls and Dumplings- something I had never liked, but LOVE here. Our Entrees were also exceptional, with the rice being just the right consistency to eat with chopsticks, it stuck together nicely. All of the waitstaff was very polite and accommodating, the surroundings were pleasant, the music unobtrusive. The portions are very large and we were able to essentially order two meals in one. I cant wait to devour the rest next meal! By the way, its located inside the "Korea Town" strip mall, on the right if going south on Buford Highway- I had a hard time finding it the first time. Happy eating! :D

First timer on eating at Yen Jing. Was skeptical about eating there once I arrived. Than I saw that theyve been in business for 20+ years so I said to myself "they must be doing something right". Went in and had a homely smell to it. Waiter was helpful and gave me the best options that would give me the best bang for my buck. Ordered combination fried rice, beef lo mien noodles (which are not on the menu), and sesame seed chicken. Very impressed with the portion of the food. Would feed a party of 4 with ease. Quality was better than any other Chinese restaurant Ive been too. I will be back for more Yen Jing.

Yen Jing used to be one of the better restaurants on Buford Hwy. I used to eat there at least once a week for several years, and lived near it. Now, it has gone so far downhill with service that I will never visit there again. Avoid it if you want to get your food in a timely manner. They are extremely slow at bringing the food out, and the quality of the food has dropped tremendously. You are better off going to other places now, even the food court is much better and much, much faster.

Barbecue Corner II was closed so we tried Yen Jing for the first time. So glad we did, service was friendly and attentive. Dumplings were amazing. We had Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken, Beef was not too sweet and scallions were great, Chicken was cooked well and sauce was tasty with good mix of veggies. Hot Jasmine tea was wonderful as well. Will make this a regular stop on Buford.

This is a Chinese restaurant with a few Korean dishes added.. like Jjampong(Spicy Korean-Chinese Seafood Soup) & Ja Jiang Mein(can be Chinese or Korean-Noodles w. meat sauce). Some highlight dishes are the dumplings(all home made), Bone in House Special Chicken, Jjampong, Ja Jiang Mein & a few others. Definitely, order away. Other dishes are a hit or miss, depends how you like it cooked.

Food is way way waay over priced I bought two entrees and some egg rolls (which were burnt) and they charged me 50 bucks ! The place was so empty Not just that, the food wasnt good . Overall it was bad , I feel like I wasted a ton of money on nasty food . They didnt even know what chicken wings are . Im never going back

I lived in Hawaii for 7 yrs. The oriental population there is huge (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Taiwanese ), so many restaurants serve quality Chinese food. Yen Jing is the closest thing in Atlanta that compares to what I had there. The prices are very good. I have recommended them to all my friends.

I really didnt expect much from this place. Its small and i haven heard about this place for the past 3 years that i lived in k town. But they have the BEST side dishes. So many too! I ordered pork with Chukchi and it was amazing. And the noodle tasted just like my moms. Love this place

By far the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been too! I definitely didnt expect it to be good when we arrived but I was completely wrong. The sizes of the dishes are more then enough and for a good price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back again.

The sweet and sour soup is awesome. We also had a seafood noodle soup and chefs special chicken, both of which were yummy. Broth was savory and rich for the soup and the sauce on the chicken was sweet and flavorful. Extreme value for the price. The service was good as well!

Friendly service, good Yen Jing Chinese Restaurant, sweet Mongolian beef. Also, free dumplings promo. Parking seems tight but valet was helpful. The main guy does magic tricks and corny jokes. A bit awkward, but Ill take his friendliness over rude waiters any day.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Atlanta. The dumplings are as good as any I have had in Guangzhou. Not the typical Americanized Cantonese dishes. The decor is a bit shabby, just like a local neighborhood restaurant in China that does not cater to tourists.

The place isnt fancy, but the food is really good. I go there about 1x per month for lunch, and anything from the lunch menu is good. You dont get the standard soup+eggroll, but you probably wont care. Very good food for a very reasonable price.

Very reasonably priced, especially considering the delicious food. Friendly, efficient and fast service. Its our go to place for casual dining of Asian cuisine. Only one negative, the cfl lighting should be towards the warmer color balance.

Pretty great Chinese standards. Right level of spiciness, and they actually use a bunch of different vegetables and keep a good ratio of meat to veggies. But there wasnt enough rice in the take out. Not sure why they would skimp on the rice.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and it never disappoints me. Love the fried potstickers and the chefs special chicken. The noodles are amazing and being family owned it feels like home to me.

Great different Chinese food experience here. Our favorite is the fried dumplings which we always order. Portions are very generous. Interesting soup noodle option options. Very good service as well.
