I was running errands nearby and stopped at the Lindbergh location to try it out. The place looked run down but there were quite a few people so I proceeded. Ordered just a miso noodle bowl. But it was hard to find a place, about half the tables were available but they were all dirty with dirty dishes, we are talking spilled food, bits of sauce. I watched as the staff joked in the kitchen - some tables stayed the same for the whole 20 minutes I was there. I asked for my table to be wiped down and that didnt register with the staff that they should do the same with the others. And the food, a simple noodle dish, was weird. The chicken floating in it was covered with some weird rub and it was also just rubbery. The broth had a musty taste - I left it unfinished for fear it would make me sick. There seems to be little pride of ownership at this place. There are many other places to spend your lunch money, pass this one by.

I do not recommend this place. The chicken tastes funny. But the worst is the customer service. We were there the other day and my colleague paid for extra chicken. When he got his plate we noticed that he did not get the extra chicken that he paid for. We spoke to one of the worker there and she told him that he has to pay to get extra chicken. He explained to her that he did, however, she left the plate on the table and left. Then when we saw the manager, we tried to talk to him about what happened, but I was shocked to see him arguing and talking to my colleague as if he is begging. Totally humiliation, I am not sure how such guy is a manager. Instead to make the customer happy and make sure he gets him the right amount of food, he argue for something that cost less than 50 cents. But, we just wont go there again...

Joe and Chris are awesome every time I dine at this location. They are so warm and welcoming every time I dine here. I specifically come to this location for the experience of their presence. Ive tried two other locations in Atlanta and prefer the atmosphere of this one and these two gentlemen. I will continue to go out of my way to come to this location. Also, the food is always hot, and cooked perfectly. Uniform every time. I had been getting the same dish for over a year but this time I inquired about trying something new, and Chris told me he didnt personally enjoy the specific dish but asked if Id like to sample the sauce. I ended up getting the dish and am loving it. Awesome customer service and experience, every time.

Excellent place to eat. Being from California, its hard to find good fast "ethnic" food, as people call it here in the South. Ive only had one of the items on the menu, but I ate the whole bowl, even though I shouldnt have! I got the Tin Drum Curry which had a perfect blend of chili-garlic and coconut. The coconut milk they used made the dish. It was sweet which offset the not so spicy sauce. Oddly, the spinach didnt bother me, although it sounded like a strange combination at first. I had water to drink, so I cant comment on any teas. My recommendation would be if youre not use to eating curries and tofu, then dont. Choose something else a little more neutral, like a Pad Thai or Fried Rice. Cant wait to go back!

I ordered the vegetable spring roll and the Pad woon something (I forget the rest of the name lol) but all of it was sooooooooo good! Even the prickly pear lemonade was perfect. I opted for the vegetarian version of the noodle dish and it was full of fresh veggies. The serving size was huge. I ate til I couldnt and still had so much left over. Definitely will be back. Fast service, nice staff, good food and free wifi! What more can you ask for?

With the Chastain Tin Drum closed, this is the closest outpost to Buckhead. And the food is great! They offer a range of reasonably priced Thai food with entrees easily coming in under $10. Personal favorites include the Shrimp Pad Thai and Massaman. Ooh, and the crab/cream cheese spring rolls are indulgently delicious. Keep an eye on their lunch specials and promos because there are great savings to be had. #Atlanta #Thai #Restaurant #Curry

2 stars only because the food is good. They are terrible at listening. About 15 min ago I ordered 2 shrimp tacos and 2 spring rolls to go. I got 2 teriyaki tacos and only 1 spring roll. My receipt even says 2 spring rolls and 2 shrimp tacos. Someone up there just didnt care and made whatever they felt like. I guess I will physically open my food next time since not one part of my order was right. Thanks guys...

This place caters to the hurried lunch crowed. Its good if you compare it to mall food, but If you are driving and have time avoid this chain. I used to eat here often due to a lack of other options. The rice is often crunchy, the meat has been undercooked and once even made me sick, and the sauces are too sweet. All this for $8 which could get you a pretty good meal somewhere else.

Tin drum has a nice cool laid back environment with friendly staff members who greet you with kindness. In my two trips to I tried their street tacos and their kung pao bowl. The food is really good and you get a good amount for the classic meals. I love the combination of vegetables, grilled chicken, rice and the sauce that they use. Ive been satisfied with both of my trips here.

Big fan. It is quick and affordable. They offer many tasty options and decent sized portions. The staff is very friendly as well. Only complaint I have is that they can be pretty inconsistent with the spicy scale. For spicy dishes they ask how hot you want it on a 1-10 scale and somedays a 3 will be incredibly spicy and others a 5 or 6 wont be spicy at all.

If you consider mall Asian food good, this is the place for you, (I’m surprised that this place is still in business considering all the wonderful Asian restaurants only a few miles away on Buford Hwy). The food was mediocre at best and the staff not that well trained and the place had the ambience of a McDonald’s. Enough said!

This Tin Drum gave me and my wife severe cases of heartburn, something I had not experienced for years. The curry was oversweetened, rice was bland, noodles were tasteless. Awfool food, but the service was nice enough. Avoid this if you are not used to low-quality fast food and dont have antacids ready in hand.

Probably my favorite Tin Drum out of the 6 Ive been to. This location is so clean and the staff is super friendly!! What I love most about this one is the portion sizes, they give you the most food for your money here. Heaping Helpings keep me coming back!

I just ordered a coconut soup and crab-n-cheese roll. The roll was fine as usual, but the soup - YUCK. It smelled like old sneakers, so I have to go buy lunch again, somewhere else. FYI: the pic looks like I ate some, nope, the container came half full.
