In a quest for galbi and kind of wanting to try something new, I found Yet Tuh. Thanks to mapping technology in 2012, there was a pin drop on the map at the corner of Oakcliff and Buford. Without it, I’m not sure I would have ever found this restaurant. I pulled off of Oakcliff and onto a path that wrapped down and around the back of this building. Drove by a Korean restaurant in the same plaza that had zero English on the sign except for “Korean Restaurant.” Using my strong logic skills, I deduced that it probably wasn’t Yet Tuh since the Korean letters were too long. Kept driving farther and found Yet Tuh tucked in the back corner (with English on the storefront!). I later found out from a friend that the first restaurant I drove by was Dong Neh Bang Neh. I’m always a little scared to try restaurants where there might be a significant language barrier and/or I can’t read the menu, but with English on the storefront, I was more at ease. Sure, everyone in the restaurant was Korean, but the menu had English descriptions and ordering was a breeze. We played it safe and went with bibimbap and the aforementioned galbi. The barley ice water and banchan came out very quickly. The banchan appeared and tasted fresh. The bibimbap also came out quickly with both warm rice and a cold bottle of the red sauce on the side. Definitely one of the better bibimbaps I’ve had around town. I know it’s ridiculous to pay $7 or $8 for an array of vegetables, rice and a little bit of meat, but I love bibimbap and it helped that this one was delicious. The galbi took longer, but still came out in a reasonable amount of time (also with a bowl of warm rice on the side). Sizzling, fatty, flavorful. Looking around at what true Koreans were eating, I couldn’t identify any particular dishes, but there seemed to be quite a few “hot pot” and soupy style dishes being shared by families. A few portable burners were the centerpieces of some other patrons’ tables. Might have to try some of those next time and skip the boring (but still good) bibimbap and galbi. The restaurant isn’t very large on the inside, but it’s comfortable and has a nice casual, homey feel. The bathroom was clean enough, but one weird thing is that the bathroom doors for both men and women don’t fully fill the frame. There’s a significant gap between the floor and the bottom of the door on both bathrooms. The TV high in the center of the room played some Korean soap while we dined. Couldn’t understand a word of the show, but the characters played some poker, realized something was stolen from some lab, fought in the same lab later as it burned down, witnessed some guy’s arm catch on fire...fascinating stuff. Overall, Yet Tuh was a good experience and I’ll definitely be back to try other things on the menu (probably accompanied by a Korean).

Very tricky to find but worth the search. Best Korean cuisine in Atlanta weve tasted so far. The banchan (side dishes that come with every entrée) was very creative and interesting (eg; pickled eggplant so good). This is definitely a labor of love so relax and unwind. Service was friendly and relaxed (ie; no rush service). The sweet Korean ladies barely speak English but are helpful. We ordered the short ribs and seafood pancake. Both were superb. (Tip #1 - Koreans love little octopuses in their seafood dishes so dont order combo seafood dishes [like seafood pancakes] if you freak out when you see little octopus tentacles. Tip #2 - Koreans love fatty meats so expect there to be ample fat on ribs, etc) Enjoy!

Spicy pork and the seafood pancake amazing! Forgot the menu names... 8 dishes of banchan, first refill free! Visited on Monday night. Very friendly staff, served quickly. They talked us out of ordering too much food - nice for first timers. Silverware standard is chopsticks and spoon.

Nice little hole in the wall place. Very friendly staff, awesome food, and good prices. The first time I went the Google Maps didnt take me completely there. You have to go all the way around the building and youll see it. I recommend this place if youre in the area.

My wife is Korean and can be very hard to please when it comes to korean food. She loved it, my daughter liked what she got. I really enjoyed the spicy octopus. We will definitely be back. It is a great place to get authentic Korean food.

Been here several times but will not visit anymore. Service was horrible making me wait to be seated for a long period of time. They were more obssessed with people more than groups of two. So they could make more money

Love this place. Great place to get amazing korean food. Most of the time the place has only one waitress who is very nice. We try to go once every 2 to 3 weeks. The location is behind the strip mall when you arrive.
