I wish I could give negative stars.....it would be negative 5 stars. The advertized closing time said 11 pm. Got there at 10:10pm. The lady at the desk said theyre closing in 20 minutes. She seemed reluctant to seat us, but we were hungry and knew exactly what we wanted so were not gonna waste time. We expected to be out of there before 11 anyway, and told her that. So we were seated and the staff started speaking to each other loudly in their language. We didnt even have to open our menus. We had eaten there before with no issues and knew exactly what we wanted. When our won ton soups came out, it tasted strongly of soy sauce. It was also not the usual clear color so it we sent it back to the kitchen. The waitress was rude about it and started talking loudly to the lady at the desk in their language and laughing, while standing at our table. Then she brought out our entrees. The food was cold. Not even warm.....cold. We couldnt eat it. We sat and waited for the waitress to come over and we told her that the food was cold. She said nothing, but turned sharply and flashed her hand up at us like she was shewing away an animal. She stormed off and i guess told the manager to come talk to us. He came over and said hell put our sweet and sour chicken back in the fryer to warm it up. Ummmm.......no........ We told him exactly that and he started clearing the table and was cutting us off rudely when we were calmly trying to tell him what the issues were. Needless to say, we will never go back to Chin Chin. The food tasted so good the previous time, but they are not consistent. They sure as hell arent pleasant either. There are many other Chinese restaurants that are better!

I have been a customer at this location for many years and have been treated so poorly tonight that I will no longer go back. Weve done delivery several times and there continues to be "issues" with their delivery service. Tonight we had to call as it was over an hour and still no food. When we called they said he was on his way... When it arrived half the order was missing, the portion that was delivered was not correct. When we called to speak with the manager, aka Richard Chung the owner, he was hostile immediately and said we did not order correctly. When we asked for a refund he demanded the food be returned. Customer service??? He basically laughed on the phone when I told him this was insanely poor customer service. I own a small business and if/when I or my staff makes a mistake we take the hit for it. This company does not operate that way and just wants to burn through customers. Go to Orient Express, or to Lucky Buddha on 10th St but RUN do not walk away from this business. If they treat a long term customer with such hostility and inappropriateness what do you think they are doing in the kitchen to the food you are eating!!

This place was a longtime favorite of mine until today. I dont cook much so chin chin is my go to spot. So today the shrimp lo mein was off everything was good except for the shrimp which smelled like foot I told the waitress she never came back when I went to pay the owner said there was nothing wrong with the shrimp he sold plenty shrimp today. I said can you at least smell it he refused. I was shocked Ive been going to chin chins for 4 years at least twice a week and to get that kind of reaction was very disappointing. Along time great place now gets 1 star

I own a business down the street from this restaurant and my office ordered for lunch. I mentioned to the lady on the phone that I didn’t have my credit card, but that I know the card number and exp date by heart. She said okay; just give the info to the delivery guy. When he got here he refused to take the card number. I called the restaurant and she told me that they don’t do that. WTF? I just talked to lady and you said it was cool. We started to eat the food and the delivery guy had the audacity to take the food back to the store. Screw them!!

Its so sad, we just ordered a lunch from this place because the food is good but the today we decided no to tip based on the really poor customer service provided to us for the lady who answer the phone call and then by the delivery driver questionable behavior! He took a look at the receive and asked for the tips, when he was told no tips he did replied: " next time go ahead yourself to pick up your food" well its not going to happen since this one will be the last time for us ordering form this piece a joke restaurant.

Hit or miss, one day I go in and have a good meal, next week its disgusting. Ingredients were obviously several days past expired before they were cooked. Price was double that of one of the numerous other Chinese food restaurants in the area. They basically charge dinner price for lunch food. Then theres possible food poisoning to worry about. Several people I know have eaten there and come down with it. This place should be shut down. Or at least investigated ASAP! It looks nice on the inside but the food is bad!!!

Great food and great atmosphere -- at a great price. My wife and I recently ate at Chin Chin with a friend; and I have a feeling it is going to become our go-to Chinese restaurant. The food is high-quality and delicious, and the lunch specials are particularly affordable. (As of December 2011, lunch for two -- drinking water -- cost less than $15!) Youll note that my only "Dislike" is the soup. I ordered won-ton soup, which was acceptable but not particularly great.

I was looking up Chin Chins information for a friend and cant believe all the negative reviews I read! When I lived in Atlanta, I went to Chin Chin almost every week. The service was amazing and I have yet to find Chinese food that compares where I live now. We loved the food and the people so much we even had our Rehearsal Dinner there. I recommend California Rolls, Egg Drop Soup, and Tangerine Chicken. I look forward to every trip to Atlanta just for this meal!

This was by far the worst Chin Chins we have visited. The waiter was rude and the manager was even worse. We will never go back to this location and DO NOT recommend it to anyone!!! Never seen a manager/owner debate with a customer over the return of a dish – please stay AWAY and go spend your money elsewhere. Please stay AWAY and go spend your money elsewhere. Wish there was a negative rating because thats what this Chin Chins deserve!!!

Good food (esp. lunch specials), HORRIBLE SERVICE. Delivery driver is the laziest Ive ever seen. He didnt even get out of the car. That was AFTER he made me leave my place of business to come meet him by the parking ramp. Then shouted at me in Chinese as he drove away because I chose not to tip him above minimum for the inconvenience. When I called the restaurant to talk to the manager he said "oh. Im sorry, Ill talk to him"
