Thank God new owners took over this place! I was in that kitchen when it was Mainly New England and let me tell you, I promised I would NEVER go back so much so that even as I was offered the head chef position I couldnt take it. I was petrified that I would be held responsible for their lack of well... Everything... However, after speaking with the new owners we decided to give it a try. Everything we ordered was delightful! The gator bites were perfectly fried, not greasy and didnt have that "old oil" flavor from frying. She shrimp were steamed and seasoned nicely and were plump and juicy. The staff was absolutely wonderful! If youre like me, remembering Mainly New England, KNOW its not the same!!! Give em a try!

Ordered out told pick up is 45 minutes. When I got there food was sitting under dirty counter, not in the kitchen to be kept warm. When I got there stood there for 15 minutes more. Everything and I mean everything was cold not even warm. We live 6 minutes from the restaurant, so it was not the ride... Shame on me this is the 2nd time they got me... Jennifer if you cant handle the rush hour get another job, your attitude stinks. And she was the waitress last time also. Apparently the waitress that answers the phone is the only one who can ring you out... Bad policy

We were at The Great Catch Friday night (that was the 15th of Sept). It was our first time and it was because we were going to go to The Chowder House and it was closed due to no electricity due to hurricane Irma. We liked the atmosphere, the staff and the food. I had full belly fried clams. And my husband had the all you can eat haddock. Everything was delish! We will go back one day. Candie and Bruce from Lakeland. Its worth the drive.

I ordered the blackened grouper basked last night. The fish that was presented on my plate was a tilapia filet. I usually dont have an issue with talking to the chef or management, but I was with family and didnt want to take issue and embarrass anyone. I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of ethics and assumption that someone would not recognize the difference between grouper and tilapia. Neither I, nor my family will dine there again.

The Great Catch has the best fish, burgers and coleslaw in Zephyrhills. I get their grouper and my husband gets their shrimp basket most often. Whatever I get, I always order a double coleslaw so I can take it home to enjoy the next day either my leftovers. Very generous portions at a good price, fairly fast service, and they offer daily specials and live music in a nice outdoor area.

Waitress was barely around to be seen, screwed up multiple orders and the food came out cold and took forever to get here. Sorry, I just moved here from Boston a month ago, and this place makes the worst clam shack in Boston look like a 5 star restaurant. Please, remove "Taste of Boston" from your sign, youre insulting my home town...

Food was Great everything is homemade and fresh. Service was excellent. When we arrived there was about a 15 minute wait which seemed to be much less than 15 minutes. If you have specific food allergies they are very careful and go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is enjoyable. I will be back again soon.

Food took over an hour to get and was cold. Waitress did not check in with us after bringing food or even walk past our table. Did nothing to resolve the problems with food, lack of beverage refills or lack of promised condiments. Good atmosphere, food has potential, service needs major work. This was on a weeknight.

Have lived here 9 months and finally stopped in for a bite. Wow! Im hooked. Cant wait to go again. Gator bites are great. Peel and eat Cajun Shrimp was delicious. Fabulous Lobster Bisque served daily. Cant wait to do some karaoke on Sundays 4-8 p.m.

Im from New England. This is the only restaurant south of New Jersey Ive been able to find whole bellied fried clams and they are delicious! Love this place. Taking a motorcycle ride from Clearwater right now with my sweetheart to enjoy their food.

Wow took hubby and daughter there last Wed. Little did we know that is was eat all you can shrimp night. OMG. Talk about best shrimp ever. Platter full. Couldnt have ordered any more. Am going to make shrimp nite a weekly thing. Great service also

If u like Raw oysters that are all shriveled up the side of your pinky and digging sand in tiny clam chowder soup u might like this place cuz i dont but the side Salad was good the tiki hut outside is nice with great atmosphere and people

it took 1 1/2 hours to get our food, they ran out of coleslaw and substituted extra fries with out asking, and got our order wrong (gave us shrimp instead of clam strips), not a good experience and i most likely wont be back

As a former Mainer, finding real new england seafood has been a struggle but we finally found one here. Clam strips are perfect! Lobster roll was amazing! Huge portions, grest decor and excellent service!

Excellent place to eat. Go early as they get busy. They also have a great outdoor bar that you can sit and wait, have a drink or even have your meal out there. Great pleasant employees.
