I am a college student here originally for NJ and have a grandmom that is 100% Italian cook. Based on previous experiences I have had mixed thoughts of this place. The people that deliver are often friendly, but I have had several times when I ordered more than one two liter and never got them, a few times I never got any drinks at all. Call the place and all they said was sorry. NEVER get their calamari, I have a bunch of people tell me to try it so I tried it here....it felt and tasted like a rubber band. I often get veal parmigiana and out of about 5 times, only twice was it good. Other times it was usually soggy or too much sauce or next to no sauce at all. One of their saving graces is their pizza is pretty good. It isnt the best, there is other places around that are better but it is still alright, never have a problem with the pizza. Like said, their delivery is often pretty good Their cold subs are too expensive for what you get. You could get real gourmet foot long subs for those prices at other places that are better and also gives chips or fries as well. I also hope people dont expect much toppings on their sandwiches. They charge way to much for extra toppings, I have seen a few times where just a few toppings cost more than the sandwich itself. Overall this place is alright as long as you dont expect true Italian made food. It is also expensive for what you get so it would probably be better to search elsewhere.

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. Tonight, I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Broadways Restaurante and Pizzarias famous motto: Open Daily from 11 am to 2 am. But I realize that only now do I truly understand what they meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Broadways, who is, in this critic’s opinion, nothing less than the finest chefs on Goldenrod and University. I will be returning to Broadways soon, hungry for more.

Ive been using these guys for over a year now. One could say I use them too much! Between my roommates and I, Broadway is here at least once a week, if not more. Youre gonna see good and bad reviews. Ive noticed it depends on the crew thats working when you call. Ive had many experiences where everything was on time and well made. Ive had nights where my order was delivered more an hour after the call, with poor quality food. You could say that its because they are good, that they just get overwhelmed and struggle to keep up. The staff is always friendly and courteous. With the few mishaps with my orders, theyve always made it right. If youre the type thats cool, calm and respectful, theyll notice that and do care about you. If youre gonna yell and scream, well. To each his own. Truly my only frustration is the pricing. Its not rediculous compared to other take out pizzerias, but it is above average, which can be frustrating when they make mistakes. All and all, Ill continue using Broadway Winter Park. Its far from perfect, but they do get the job done. 3/5

I am a college student originally from the NY/NJ area. I grew up in an italian family so I have a clear understanding of what makes an Italian Restaraunt above par and I have to be honest Broadway is just Ok in my eyes. I have to admit their Pizza is decent and pretty much the only thing I order after having several terrible experiences with their overly watery/parmigian infested pasta sauces. Their chicken is often chewy and rough and certainly does not feel fresh. I pretty much would only recomend this restaraunt if you are looking to get a late night pizza with friends and a cold glass of beer from their fresh kegs. They are often open until 4am which is a plus when you have the late night munchies. The staff is very friendly, but I do have friends who have had conflicts with the management. Overall this place is just ok and not real a true representation of the italian heritiage and the eatery that comes with it. I would easily recommend Giovannis Pizzeria on Aloma which serves much better quality food. Hope this review helped.

The pictures are nice, but there are tvs in the corners of the restaurant, usually playing too loud AND showing some kind of crime investigation show. Weve eaten there a few times and A&Es Cold Case Files has been on, showing actual crime scene photos and discussing the brutal murders of families, etc. Other times, its been CSI, etc. (fictional) The kitchen has a cheap radio that the cooks have turned up louder than the TVs so it conflicts nicely with the TV sound or music playing in the restaurant. The waiters and cooks have no problem sitting in the restaurant when their friends comes in and complaining with foul mouths about various things in their lives. Weve eaten there maybe 6 or 7 times. If you go during a normal busy time, most of this stuff isnt a problem, but if you go at say 9pm or after, be prepared for no atmosphere at all. The food itself is good, but probably better to pick up and eat at home then in the restaurant itself.

garbage customer service, worse pie. Called today to redeem credit from a previously botched order, and they showed up at the end of the delivery window, missing one of 4 items. We paid in full, cash, and called the store....manager "knew already why we were calling," so he knows his driver forgot something. no big deal. the pizza has a baseball sized hole in it from a poorly experienced pizza maker. Kids freaking out, missing the one thing they eat from here, and after being assured our prepaid order is rushed out, it shows up over an HOUR after our follow up call. Manager said the driver knew it was a retake, and chose to take another one before ours. So. Poor management, poorly skilled/trained employees, even worse customer service, and, well, product as expected. Sorry chodes, youll never see us again. Sad, but true. Ill stick with quality establishments from here on.

The second we walked in the door, Hannah, the "server" was already irritated and wore it on her sleeve. She commenced to toss plates and menus across the table like she was in a disc golf tournament. Didnt ask once how we were doing and rushed us to place an order. Got the food, which was delicious and the only reason this is getting 2 stars. There were only three other occupied tables and could not determine why she was the way she was. More than likely a lack of ambition as she is serving here and not at a Chilis or or Olive Garden. I cant imagine her life is perfect, but she is terrible at her current job and throws attitude at undeserving customers who just want to eat some za in a nice environment. Terrible service. If you go here, and you see Hannah is going to be your server, be prepared to get lashed with passive aggressive comments and feel like a burden, and pay for it.
