If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We are new to this area and saw this place a few weeks ago. I wanted to try it, it looks cute from the outside. It was slow, but so was everywhere else that Saturday. Tonight, my family and I were in the mood for nachos and thought it would be fun to try this place. Our "server" took our order and then never returned. We had to go up to the window to ask for more napkins and to ask for our check because everyone disappeared. We did not get refills on our drinks. Every time my boyfriend did go up to ask for something, a lady in the back kept looking at him like we were bothering them and she even asked the host, "what does he want now?" (Not thinking he could hear her, Hopefully but who knows!) The food was very bland. The portions sucked. We always tip but because everything was so horrible and the service was nonexistent, we did not tip. When we got home and my boyfriend checked his account, we see that they added their own tip! It would have been exactly 20%. That is illegal!!! We will never be back! To the owners response.... This lady definitely spoke English. She was speaking to other people in the restaurant right next to us. Everyone there spoke English just fine. About calling and asking for a manager, we just did and we were told there is no manager and no one is in charge. Im just writing this to let people know our experience. We are on the phone with the bank about your servers taking money because I guess thats what they need to do to try to get tips because they all were horrible.

Okay, so maybe we shouldnt have come on Cinco de Mayo! But we got there at 11:30 am. Only four other tables had people. Atmosphere was great. Server was friendly. As we quickly ordered we sat back and waited. And waited. You are either a restaurant or a catering business, but your size does not allow you to be both. And waited. We watched lots of food exit the restaurant for business parties. At the 1 hour mark we asked the "owner" and she was going to check into it. And waited. Ten minutes later, I got up and asked how much longer. Ten minutes later we got our food. Which was BAD. No flavor, watered down tasting. It makes Taco Bell seem authentic! NEVER AGAIN.

Decoration is fine, the corn chips are "no bueno", they taste more like flour chips, you can find better chips anywhere. Ordered it a medium cooked carne asada but they didnt care (like they say "les valió madre") it was overcooked even with burn marks. They said the corn tortillas are made from scratch but same as the chips, they taste like flour, pretty much tasteless. I havent tried anything else but the Carne asada, they may have better options in the menu. Thanks for "nada"

This is a Mexican food restaurant that doesnt have chili con queso and at least 50percent of the fajita meat.was inedible gristle. The only advantage to this place was there was no wait for a table. Waitress and hostess were really nice people but the food was laughably bad. The nacho chips are so hard and thick it would be easy to break a tooth on one. Needless to say this has got to be the worth Mexican food restaurant in central Florida.

Disappointed. Average. Service sub par. Nothing I was served would make me want to come back. Salsa was warm. Chips hard as rocks. Food was bland. Used an entire bottle of hot sauce to make palatable. Beans look like from a can. Rice definitely not todays. Skimpy portion of cheese. Had a Chimichanga nothing but some unseasoned over boiled chicken. Taco Bell is better.

Average Gringo food. My wife and I had the lunchtime specials which were bland and tasteless. Nothing had any flavor. Each persons palette is different but for us, a disappointing experience. We have had many experiences of Mexican food and so far nothing comes up to a real Mexican restaurant in Amarillo TX.

The food here is homemade, that much is clear. This is why the salsa is runny; stir it. It is good Mexican food for those that realize Taco Bell is not. Its not *phenomenal* which is why not 5-stars but well definitely be back. Eat and drink local!

Family owned and operated. Good food, good value, good service. Clean. Always a good choice for quick, dine in experience during the week after school/work with the kids. Good parking even though downtown.

Wonderful food and service! Owners care about their customers and take the time to talk and check up on every customer. Food is homemade no by products.

Food was authentic and service was fast. The tables, chairs and other amenities could use a makeover though. Decent place to grab a quick lunch.

I come from California and prefer west coast Mexican food. El Olivo is the closest to it that I have found. I love it.
