As other reviewers have explained, this Panera does NOT respect that customers pay money for Panera sandwiches, which are planned by the corporate company with a certain type of bread. They have been out of the bread we prefer with our sandwiches COUNTLESS times. They are also regularly out of other wanted items in the evening (and not even late in the evening, although that should not matter at a corporation of this size and pricing). We have complained numerous times to the people behind the counter. We have been told they agree with us, and have complained to management. Their own employees have said they dont agree with the management decision not to make enough bread. Bread might sound like something not so important. But the sandwiches are not nearly as good without the right bread. And this happens OVER & OVER & OVER again. Also, the reason that they run out of bread is to save on food costs, pure and simple. Yet, the price of the sandwich for the customer stays the same. How is that fair again? This restaurant manager should be fired, right now. The decision to put costs above customer experience is unbelievable. Many others are complaining about the same thing. Yet this Panera seems totally oblivious to how customers feel, or what they want. Really, truly outrageous Panera experience. Horrible. If you like a certain kind of Panera sandwich, Id suggest picking a different location. They have other stores in Clermont, Apopka, and Dr. Phillips. We never have this problem at those locations.

Im overly disappointed with my experience at this Panera Bread! Every time I go to Panera I order the Italian Combo. My first time going here they rushed my order when it wasnt busy. Therefore when I got home and checked my food nothing was right, I took the sandwhich back the same day and the screwed up my order the second time! (2 times in one day.) I went back 2 days later and ordered the same thing. This time the Cashier rushed us as we stood at a distance from the register while looking at the menu in order to try something new. The cashier was very impatient, she began grunt and roll her eyes. So I ordered and I also told her she should control her attitude when dealing with customers. As I am a General Manager. They mess up my order again! By now Im tired and I take it back. I spoke with the manager there and she didnt listen to a word I said. Third times a charm. I call in to place a order for the Italian combo and they said it would be ready Im 10 minutes. So about 20 minutes later I arrive and they said they had just ran out the bread that goes on the sand which, so I just chose white bread. Though they had my number and could have called me about the complication. I patiently wait for my order to be made... Which was about 10-15 minutes because of other orders in front of mine. I get my food and leave only to notice that my sand which wasnt even close to the one I ordered. I will not be returning here ever! It was a very very bad experience. I was not pleased either time!

Update 8/21 - Still the worst Panera. Out of a cookie my wife ordered that was visible in the case, got my daughters PB&J wrong, shorted us another cookie, got the side items wrong on two meals, and dropped almost 50 dollars for two adults (one only ordered a half salad) and three kids. Lowered my review to 1 Star as they were out of the Thai Garden Chicken Broth Wonton Bowl. This wasnt the first time theyve been out of an item that was still on the menu. Iced coffee dispenser dispersed a lightly tinted water. I find the overall cleanliness of this Panera to be below average. I go here rather often, but the value is low as I can spend the same amount of money and get table service at other nearby food options.

Tonight, I remembered why I havent eaten at this Panera location in months. The dining room was a mess with dirty tables and floors. They were out of things like some soups, baguettes, crossaints, etc. The lettuce on my sandwich was brown with torn bread. Worse part was watching the manager (Anthony) jump up on a table under the menu board to update the soup sign...and NOT clean/sanitize it after he got down. (How bout a step stool?!) He got defensive when I addressed these issues and asking for the contact info for the GM and stated that he was the General Manager. Unless we here this location is under new management, we will never return or recommend it, in spite of it being close to our home.

I was in and out quickly to get a pack of bagels for my team at work that I preordered. There was a line but the customers were served promptly. I wish I had known that when you preorder bagels they dont slice them, as all we had for cutting were the plastic knives Panera gave us to spread cream cheese, so that was rather aggravating and made getting a nice spread on it very difficult and messy. The bagels were kind of hard and I am not sure if they were actually baked that day; they tasted like they had been sitting in a box for a couple of days, which is a shame since I got the special Ribbon shaped ones for the breast cancer donations they were making and I expected them to be very fresh.

Went in this morning and placed a to go order on the new self service kiosk. There were a lot of customers, as it was mothers day morning, but the place was not overly busy. The bagel and iced coffee I ordered sat on the counter for over 30 minutes while they cooked my breakfast sandwich. And everything was put out on plates (I selected TO GO on the kiosk). After telling them it was supposed to be to go, I finally had my food 45 minutes after waking in. Oh, and my breakfast sandwich was burnt.

We love Panera but lately they seem to be slacking. My son ordered the new Avocado, egg white and spinach breakfast sandwich; they were out of the bread and there was barely any avocado or spinach on it (like 1 slice of avocado and 3 pieces of spinach) and this has happened before when we ordered other sandwiches. Our other breakfast items were good but they are overpriced. The new Raspberry Almond Thumbprint Cookie is AMAZING! Sorry, no picture of the sandwich, my son was hungry!

We eat at Panera often but they do run out of menu items too often. However, we still love this location in particular, because its right on the middle of great shopping, so its convenient. Plus, even better, they have a wonderful outdoor eating spots. Highly recommended on nice days. I also like that they have healthy items and will let us special order, which is important because we are vegans. Would like them to be more vigilant about keeping all menu items in stock.

Started going here a few months ago. Not sure why the negative reviews we have always enjoyed the food and have never had an issue with our order. Only once did we experience them being out of something after we ordered. But it was late and that happens. I am happy to have fresh product and if that means they run out of stuff because they are not over buying then so be it. I would rather not have the item I was looking for then to have one that was days old.
