The empty blue plate was an order of biscuits and gravy that was demolished in approx 2 minutes. Ive been waiting to come here for a while and it was so very worth it. The French toast was ~amazing~, delicious brioche bread, the batter was done just right, top 10. The strawberry lemonade was divine and has unlimited refills. My other half had the smoked brisket hash and it was absurd how good it was. The brisket was fall apart tender and deliciously flavored. Kid 1 had a ham and cheese quiche which was really well seasoned, and the puff pastry held up beautifully! Service was impeccable, the decor is really well done, and everyone is just crazy friendly. The prices were pretty decent for the quality. A family of 4 with sides ate for about $50 and the portions were generous without being obscene. If you find yourself in Windermere, or if youre just looking for good breakfast, this is definitely the place to go!

Very generous and delicious portions! We headed here for breakfast on a Saturday around 10:30, even though I read about the flies on Yelp. Lol. We had one fly pay us a visit before we got our food that wouldnt go away, but eventually it did. :) The Passion Fruit tea was really good unsweetened, but be sure to mix it well so you dont drink most of the syrup first like I did. :) I ordered the Chicken and Biscuits/Grits meal (which is plenty to split with a friend btw!) and my boyfriend had the Biscuits and Gravy. We tried splitting both dishes and it was still too much food. The biscuits were massive. Seriously. But oh so good. The sausage gravy had tiny bits of pepper in it, not spicy though. It was different and good. Overall it was nice service, took a while to get our food, and the food was good. We may come back since its close to the house.

If your looking for some home style country food look no further. The food here is fantastic on top of a fairly well done latte menu. The biscuits are very good and at a good size. I love ordering an egg biscuit with gravy. Reminds me of my grandmas southern cooking. Buffalo Chicken omelette is delicious. Only downside would be that it relies on the sauce but I wont complain, they taste great together. Theyre brisket hash is very good. Everything is cooked well. The portion doesnt match other menu items but the flavors are wonderful. The milky way latte is delicious. Couldnt imagine it any better. The wait staff is very kind and helpful. Atmosphere is very welcoming , located right in the heart of windemere. If youre wanting a solid delicious breakfast, you need to eat here!

While on our vacation to Universal studios, our family was looking for a place to have a late breakfast. I googled places near me to eat, and happened upon Dixie cream cafe. I cannot even begin to tell you how awesome this place is!!!! Very clean, eclectic, and cozy. The food is outstanding, prices are reasonable and the service is superior. We ate here twice during our stay, we made this our last meal before leaving to drive back to Georgia. My family would like to once again thank Dixie Cream cafe and our wonderful server Jessie. This place is definitely a gem Thanks again The Benefields

Finally a good local option for Windermere residents. Dixie Cream Cafe takes the place of the old "Ready Market" and gives local residents a great restaurant in downtown Windermere. Probably most popular for breakfast and brunch, Dixie Cream Cafe has some great signature items. The brisket hash is fanastic. I have a difficult time straying from that item. My wife has tried many items from omelets to the BLT sandwich at lunch and has been pleased with each item. On a nice day, sit outside on the outdoor seating. Great option for local Windermere folks.

Amazing breakfast/brunch/lunch cafe. Ive been coming here for a while now and they have a great menu selection including many fun and delicious hot beverage choices. The best part about this cafe is unequivocally the wonderful staff and owner. They are the friendliest bunch of people you will ever meet and its what keeps me going back. After having the buffalo chicken omelette today, this will be a close second to what keeps me going back. You definitely will want to come here for breakfast, lattes and the wonderful atmosphere!

Big fan of this place... I stop by for a visit every time I am in Orlando. This is a cute little cafe with a bistro/bakery vibe. There is always different art work on the walls that complements the overall decor. The food us phenominal... We shared a huge, homemade buscuit with a delicious scratch-made sausage gravy that is awesome. My Eggs Benedict came with bacon and spinach and breakfast potatoes. Yum, yum, yum. Last time I was here I tried the Banana Fosters French toast and it was dreamy. I highly recommend this place.

Adorable cafe, always wanted to try it since I pass it often. Stopped in today and was slightly disappointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the food was not charming; the presentation and quality did not match that of the cafe itself. I got a combo; the breakfast potatoes were burned to a crisp and hidden under the pancakes which was slightly overcooked and had a bit darkened charred top. Although the cafe is lovely, the food and presentation didnt match. Will nt be returning unfortunately

We come here often with family for breakfast and they never disappoint, our favorite breakfast spot in the Orlando/Windermere area! The food is excellent, the staff is always friendly and service consistent with a very homey atmosphere. We have not had a thing on the menu we didnt like. From a regular breakfast to unique creations to healthy offerings on the menu, they have a little something for everyone. Cant wait to try the lunch one day! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Dixie Cream Cafe was recommended to me by a friend and his review didnt do it justice! The decor was quirky home farm which was unique to look at while dining. The staff was friendly and welcomed us immediately and seated us right away. I ordered the Town Hall Trio omelette which had smoked ham, cheddar cheese and tomato served with potatoes and a biscuit! It was delicious and very generous portions. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Used to be great - quality of the food (and service) has gone downhill in the past year. I usually ordered the brisket dip sandwich from their menu, but last time I ordered it, it was mostly chunks of fatty meat. This time I ordered their spicy chicken sandwich. Aside from the breading being burned, it basically fell off the meat. Im not sure if they have different cooks or not.

Had a late breakfast there yesterday. First the good: bright decor, clean facility, good food. The adequate: service. They seemed to be somewhat understaffed. Our waitress always seemed to be tied up with other customers leaving us waiting to order and later for the check. The bad: no ventilation. A strong grease smell pervades the place and stayed with us the rest of the afternoon.

My server Jessie was so pleasant and attentive, great service!!! I started with the tomato bisgue, it was amazing, you can taste the freshness! Bacon cheeseburger was huge ( only ate half) fresh cut veggies, very delicious, cooked perfect! Cant wait to come back and try biscuits and gravy! Also very clean and friendly atmosphere, indoor and outdoor dining available.
