I only discovered this place last summer and it quickly has become one of my favorite places to eat in all of South Florida. The food is really good, and quick. People who complain about the service probably just dont understand that the staff there is very busy trying to get orders in and out of the kitchen as fast as possible so diners arent delayed...which means that they dont have a lot of time to just stand around while people are deciding what to have. But everyone there is super friendly and seem to care about making and serving what the customer wants. That said, on the diners side, deciding what to have is no easy task. The menu has a LOT of stuff on it, and everything looks delicious. They serve huge, fresh bagels, HUUUUGE, fresh salads (Ill post a pic of their egg salad when I can), and they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner items on the menu for their entire service (including matzoh ball soup, if youre so inclined). The only downside...like most delis, their service only lasts until 3:00 PM. So my recommendation is to get there before 3:00 PM!

Huge Servings but I wasnt Impressed with the Food Overall: partly of it is because I had ordered something I had never heard of because thats what I like to do: Matzoh Brei W/ Grilled Onions & Nova. The waitress explained what it was but I guess I just expected something else. My buddy who met me for breakfast there had a more traditional meal of sunny-side up eggs with some kind of potato and bacon. He said it was OK. The location is safe and quiet with mostly professionals and police eating early (we were there at the 6:30 a.m. open). I would have to give this place another go if in the area to maybe boost this review because I really wanted to like this place. Next time, Ill try something more traditional for myself. And yes, Im totally good with eating lox for breakfast.

I ordered here from UberEATS while visiting the area. The home style fries were well seasoned and tasty . The sausage was bit underwhelming, I couldnt determine if it was pork sausage or turkey sausage. I dont necessarily like bagels so I asked for wheat toast. I received two pieces of wheat bread that werent at all toasted. My friend had the French toast which was good.

Though pleasing, having an "old fashioned" diner that meets a "new school" brunch location, the service wasnt quite as orderly (or respectful) as accustomed with the traditional dinner. The food was above average, however, this particular visit the has towns lacked any sort of taste. Would certainly give it a second chance, however, it wouldnt be the No. 1 choice.

Food amazing, but completely irrelevant when it comes to the atmosphere. You will end up going for the food, then staying for the show. From a sweaty, bald man walking around eating your bagel chips, to a loud women talking about how much she loves your kids, Mitchs is a family friendly, and fun environment. Highly recommend.

This is exactly what you expect to get from this type of eatery. The food is fresh and tasty. This is not the Four Seasons, rather a medium priced ethnic style restaurant. The service is good, the food comes out fairly fast and the servers are friendly.

They were open but wouldnt get me a cup of coffee and a bagel to go bc they were working on a large order. The manager was very rude and said i would have to order at least a pound of bagels or they wouldnt take my order. I left.

This is a typical New York style deli. The food is great, specially the Challah French Toast. The service is what you would expect from NYC lol. But it only helps create a casual atmosphere. This is our go to place every Sunday.
