Last night (January 18,2012) I went to this Starbucks at 9:35 p.m. I pulled up to order at the drive thru and after a minute of waiting I said Hello, with no reply. I pulled up to the window and they had the screen up. This Starbucks doesnt close until 10:00. I tried to get the Manager, Les Goodrichs attention but he ignored me. I thought that perhaps the drive thru sensor didnt work so I began to pull back through. There were patrons eating inside and outside the restaurant. I pulled up again with no one to take my order. So I pulled back up to the window. The manager Les Goodrich walked up to the drive thru window and rudely gave me a dirty look, reached down and grabbed stuff and then walked off. I began honking my horn and he ignored me. So I began to drive off until I saw a female Starbucks employee throwing garbage out in the dumpster. I said Hello and Excuse me to her several times only to be ignored. So I said it again very loudly and she hesitantly turned towards me while texting on her cell phone. I asked her if they closed the drive thru early. Her reply was that they did because employees didnt show up tonight so they couldnt work. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!! So they had time to serve people in the restaurant, text on their cell phone but not time enough to serve customers in the drive thru!!!!! This is the 3rd time in 6 weeks that I have shown up around 9:30 p.m to find the drive thru closed. I spoke with the shift manager this morning. She was very understanding but hesitant to give me the managers name. ( I also called Corporate and reported the incident. ) So here is what I will do Les Goodrich next time you close the drive thru early and/or rudely disrespect me: I will video the entire incident and send it to your District Manager, Regional Manager and anyone else that ranks higher than you. Remember it is your Starbucks customers that write your paycheck. Without us you have no job, so DO YOUR JOB! Keep the restaurant hours as they should be and work on customer service.

They have one older barista that is extremely rude. Im from chicago and never had a problem with anyone taking my old Starbucks cup through DT when my cupholder is full. This guy tells me that they have a garbage right around the corner. Its there but by the entry door and not within reach from the car so now I have to juggle hot coffee and an old cup. Next time I was there I asked him if the garbage he speaks about is within reach as I thought that maybe they moved it last time for cleaning. He tells me that he doesnt know. Really? So next time Im there Ill do my best to get it in the hole from my car. It would be nice if theyd put a garbage there.

The girl taking my order was super nice and attentive to detail. The woman making the drinks was super grumpy and rude. I forgot to say no whip on my order so I asked her for no whip on my drink. She proceeded to put whip on it a few minutes later so I asked her for a spoon to just scoop it off. She gave me attitude saying I asked for whip. I said sorry if I wasnt clear and she was still pretty unfriendly. Not like I asked her to remake my drink!! I was being nice just asking her to take the whip off. The drink itself was good, but not great so overall 3 stars.

***Updating my review*** It has been a few years since my last review and thought it was time to update it. This store is generally spot on recently with reliability of drinks made with the exception of the few minor communication mixups resulting in the wrong drink being made. So be sure for expedience sake to clarify what you are wanting when ordering from the drive thru or you might get something else. Otherwise the current staff at this location is exceptional and knows their stuff! Tim is the best drive thru handler hands down!

Horrible attitude problem from the women who work here. Been here multiple times and they are sarcastic, condescending, rude and talked about me to other employees, in front of me. Absolutely no concept of customer service, will only be going to other locations from now on. Oh and I have been a gold card member for over 6 years and they refused to give me a refill of coffee after I came in from sitting in my car in the parking lot. Will not be coming back

Wow. I have no idea what happened with the previous two reviewers but that was not my experience at all. The staff was friendly to me and the other folks I saw coming in. I came to Vero for a week to get away from the New Hampshire winter and Ive been in pretty much every day to have some coffee and use the wifi to work and it was fine. Staff was prompt and responsive... coffee was good. Weather was great :).

Worst Starbucks ever. Only 3 people ahead of me, 2 at registers and one waiting to order. It took 10 minutes to get to the register order. I bought an orange mango smoothie and a morning bun. The bun was soggy and doughy; came out of a blasting bag like a 7-11 pastry! The smoothie was not very cold and had little flavor. Terrible experience!

Pleasant, friendly employees. The place was crowded, but it didnt seem so. I think it was the friendliness of the cashiers that set the aura for the whole room. The coffees were quick and perfect. The condiment service area is kept stocked and clean. Congrats, US 1 Starbucks staff, on your professionalism!

I realize Im a regular but its nice being greeted very morning when I walk in. Order always taken correctly. Fast paced and not sloppy. Consistent with my drink. Only one time my order was incorrect and they gave me a gift card with enough to comp my drink on my next visit. Very pleased with this location.

Not friendly at all. Disconnected all but one electrical outlet so no place to plug devices. Been to Starbucks all over the country, these Vero stores are really bad. Shame, time for a different premium coffee shop that is friendly, customer oriented and stays open awhile.

The customer service at this location is among the worst of any Starbucks Ive been to. Each employee has a poor attitude and the coffee is always burnt--showing me the staff is lazy. They dont look greet you coming or going, they are unhelpful with everything.

Great atmosphere. Everyones always happy to serve and everything Ive ever had has tasted amazing. All the frilly sugary drinks are a bit pricy but this pace is great if you want to sit down for a social cup of coffee and dont mind interesting background music

Every single time I get a coffee at this Starbucks the coffee leaks through the cup rim/lid. The lid is different than at other locations. The coffee still tastes good but I have to wear white scrubs everyday and a leaking coffee cup is not working.

Starbucks is great...if you can deal with the waaaay too loud music, packed house (at this location) and of course, the expensive brew... But, Im a sucker for their iced caramel macchiato. Of course, we will continue to meet people here.
