First and foremost, we miss you Leon... and we love Desiree! Anyway, this is usually THE BEST location out there, especially in terms of Customer Service and great quality of food, but today something was definitely off... even 2 other people were complaining in there, so I know we are not the only ones who could tell the service sucked today! Our office orders from Tropical Cafe frequently, and in most cases we will order before we arrive and let them know the exact timeframe we will arrive so that it is ready for pick-up. Usually, the food is ready, but today we had to wait around. In addition, another customer claimed she left her wallet in the car... Instead of the Tropical worker (and I can point her out ANYDAY) saying "sorry" or "thank you for your patience," she just walked away from the cash register and left 3 of us waiting for 7-10 minutes before I had to shout to the back about how it wasnt fair to the rest of us that we were all waiting because of another woman who clearly was going much farther than her car to get her lost wallet. On top of all that, I heard a different price than I usually hear... been ordering the exact same order for a year, and I heard a higher price this time, very odd. Overall, today was horrible, not to mention the slight arguing in the back... whatever that was all about... I like the food, and this location is the closest to us, so we will be back, but I hope our next visit is a much more pleasant one than todays.

I would never give this place my business again. I was recommended to go here because everything is fresh no additives etc & not frozen. Apparently I was wrong. I ordered a smoothie that was so sweet I almost threw up. I thought maybe I could tolerate it but once I got home I couldnt take one more sip. I called to inquire if their was sugar in their smoothies & I had just came in. The girl on the phone was very nice said their was sugar added in it but I didnt see it on the board. She said no problem come back in & well give you a new one with no sugar. I drove 15 mins to go back to be told by the supervisor that he could not give me a free smoothie as he could lose his job. I told him I just spoke with the girl on the phone & he still said sorry. Their was very fine writing at the bottom of the board that states theres some type of sugar added which I honestly didnt see but the way the supervisor handled it was terrible. He shouldve taken that up with his employee that told me to come back in & not penalize me. I told him I would NEVER come back there again & for a measly $6 he just lost a customer. This occurred on July 9 @ 4:30.

Had a GREAT experience with this location today. Had to please a good sized order for delivery, and the staff that took my order was efficient and pleasant and went out of their way to have our food delivered at the time we needed. Working in a busy doctors office, that was very helpful. When our food was delivered, we had everything just as we had ordered it and they went above and beyond by putting all 7 of our smoothies in a box on ice to ensure they stayed fresh and cold for us. It was really a great delivery experience, and definitely will be ordering from them again!

This is seriously the BEST Tropical Smoothie Ive been to! While I love Tropical Smoothie in general, what makes this location different is the manager, Leon. He gets an A+ rating from me as far as customer service. Hes always so friendly & you can tell he really cares about what he does. Hes great with his customers, his staff; pays attention to how his establishment looks, & makes sure the food/smoothies are up to standards. Not to mention, he honors old coupons recognizing that its still bringing business into his location. :-)

I will never go back again!!!! Worst customer service!!!!! i walked in there and three employees looked at me but didnt help me until another customer walked in behind me. Then one employee handed me my smoothie but didnt place the top on propertly so when i got to my car my drink spilled all over me. If i ever go to tropical smoothie it will not be this location. I will take my money to smootie king or xtreme juice but i will not go back to tropical smoothie on Neptune in South Tampa.

Im familiar with the customer service at Tropical Smoothie and was expecting a friendly happy person to greet me. Instead I got a woman asking me if I was Gigi. When I answered her no, she responded with a,"what do you want?" I was hungry and in a hurry, so I ordered and sat down. Another customer came in and she was very friendly with them. Even tho I came in before them she prepped their food first. I wont be coming back to this Tropical Smoothie.

I love the smoothies here and the food is excellent as well! Ive been going to this location since i moved close by a year ago. The manager here is super friendly and very genuine. He always tries his best to remember everyones names.

Every experience at this location has beeen great. I have been on crutches and the staff carries my order to my car for me. Very nice people at this location. In addition to the customer service, my order is always done right.
