We were excited for a new breakfast place in Tampa. First the positive. The place is very clean and has nice ambiance. When we arrived it was raining and they came out to the car with an umbrella. Wow, nice first impression! The menu is very interesting. Unfortunately it ended there. We ordered Eggs Benedict and a Quiche. It was more than 30+ minutes before our food arrived. It shouldnt take that long for what we ordered. No one came to the table to explain the delay or offer to refill our coffee or ice tea. When the food finally arrived, the presentation was horrible. My quiche was burned brown on top. It was the only item on the plate and looked very unappetizing . Once you got past the burned outside, the flavor was not bad. Nothing else was on the plate. My husbands Eggs Benedict looked better, but there was only one egg and a few chips. Again no one offered to refill our drinks. We finally had to ask for our check ($22.30) I asked for my ice tea in a to go cup and they charged me an additional $2.51 for the tea that I had already paid for. So in the end the concept is great, but the execution needs work.

Dont believe the professional pictures or the regulars who obviously post here. $55 and told Mercedes this was my first time ordering. She was very nice and patient, the front of the house? Excellent but the food was not, I posted a picture of the shrimp scampi I received. There is no way this shouldve ever left the kitchen, especially being delivery. Portion size is not worth it as well and very little shrimp, asked for heavy garlic and cant say I tasted what was expected. Im quite disappointed by the food presented both aesthetically and taste wise. The only item received I would say was OK? Was the pizza which was a Spartan. First time ordering and the last, like they say... you only get one chance to make a first impression. I ordered the lobster truffle Mac, Spartan pizza, Shrimp Scampi, Premium wings and side of sautéed spinach. All waiting for the McGregor Diaz fight and was totally disappointed. Thanks Doormet, Delivery was timely and driver was nice, I tipped above the recommendation here on their site.

Its always something with this place, and Ive kept my mouth shut for far too long. For spending approx $30/day here, you think my experience would be beyond amazing. It used to be that the customer service was beyond horrible, but the food was incredibly fantastic, but now that the service has improved (in particular 3 outstanding employees that I could gladly point out) theres unfortunately issues with my order... I ordered the Wild Mushroom Ravioli and ended up getting chicken pasta... what tha?! Thats not what I had a taste for at all. The November special ravioli is supposed to be made with beef tenderloin. Sooo, instead of beef I got chicken & instead of ravioli I got pasta. Yes, shame on me for not checking the bag/order before I drove home in another city, but seriously?! Please correct me if this was seriously how my order was supposed to have come out. On a positive note, the Caramel Cheesecake is to die for, and I love the ever-changing monthly special menu (the only menu I order from)!

What a great concept, what great food. I travel most of the time and had long awaited to dine with Doormet. Last night I finally had the chance. The Prime Burger was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. It beats any mid to upscale chain... burger out there. Also, the Truffle Macaroni and Cheese... ridiculous, I was told it was as good as Berns and 1/3 the price, they were right. It is a must try. My girlfriend ordered the Brooklyn pizza with Garlic bread as a crust, with all organic ingredients the flavors are off the charts. I had to bargain with her to get a slice. If you order a pizza from Doormet you have to get the garlic bread crust. Bravo Doormet, Bravo.

I had my first experience with Doormet last week after reading about places in Tampa that have good macaroni and cheese. As with most new restaurants I try that do take-out, I order a variety of things to test it out. Their mac and cheese with truffle oil was fabulous, and so are their sandwiches! The veggie and BLT sandwiches were both fresh and delicious, however, I do wish there was more bacon on the BLT. The premium wings were pretty okay, but I am used to a richer blue cheese or Gorgonzola for dipping sauce. I will most certainly be back and I encourage everyone to try them. If you want FRESH, tasty, and at a good price, give Doormet a try!

Im an obnoxious food snob. Delivery came at least 10 minutes early, fresh and hot. We ordered the Manhattan Burger, fumoso pizza, and truffle mac. Pizza: 10/10 Burger: 8/10 Mac: 5/10 Pizza was up there with the very best pizza Ive ever eaten, and Ive had pizza all over the world. Burger came dressed up and separated to avoid sogginess in delivery, and had nice fresh ingredients. Mac... I dont get the comments - if Id not read there were truffles in it Id never have suspected it. It was good, and I would never actually complain about it, but it wasnt really spectacular.

I have ordered from Doormet numerous times. Normally, the service is good to great, and the food is consistently good as well. However, on my last order, they arrived 45 minutes after their estimated delivery time. I called the restaurant when my food was about 30 minutes late to check on my order, and no explanation or apology was offered. Upon arrival at my house, I asked the driver to inform the manager, which he assured me that he would and that I would receive a call the following day. I did not.

I will have to say this is the best service and place that i have ordered from, food is amazing just equivalent to fancy high class restaurant without the cost. Would highly recommend and one of Our Departments favorite places to Order from! A SPECIAL thanks to Jacob as well who reached out to me the moment he could there was any power outages and let us know what happened very dedicated staff! much appreciated and much valued!!

Quality food that can be delivered to your door. Great for setting up an intimate setting at your own home if you cant cook. I found one of their pasta dishes to be the very best of its kind that Ive had. Like Adam, Im well traveled and eat out frequently. This place is outstanding, absolutely try it.

Im giving this restaurant 4 stars without visiting this place yet. Reason for 4 star is the we always had this pizza at our work place for our team. My boss love these pizzas and same we do. So Im taking my wife for the dinner now. Let see how they treat us and will give another review after dinner...

Got it delivered because work pushed my lunch hour aside today, and it was fantastic. Had the Wings (Big Sriracha fan) and the Brooklyn. It was delivered during the time window promised; hot and tasted better than expected. I will be ordering again in the near future. Well done team Doormet.

Love the bistro burger and spinach salad. And the fish and steamed veggies are good. The mac and cheese is incredible but probably has a billion calories. Pick up is really quick and easy. Overall it is a good solution when you want a nice dinner but are too tired to think about cooking.
