Off street location makes it a bit difficult to spot. Seems to be more geared toward UT college type as it is just one block from student apartments. The place definitely has a trendy feel and low key laid back ambiance. The seating is adequate, more table top style versus a more comfortable coach style arrangement. The interior is spacious and inviting, not pretentious at all. Great place to chill and have a conversation with friends. It might get a bit warm however during the summer time when they have a garage style door open. Great for a nice open feeling with plenty of natural light but it gets a bit warm in the Florida heat. The coffee (I ordered a cold brew) was not that tasty and lacked good depth and flavor, could have tasted less watered down. And at $4.00 for a 12 oz cold brew, a bit more than I like to spend. Not my favorite brew house for the coffee but a nice venue.

The Lab is a great little coffee bar and roaster. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and had the best lattes Ive ever tasted. They carry milk alternatives and serve their drinks with a side of sparkling water as a palate cleanser (a very nice touch). Service was awesome and we purchased some of the Zeal coffee that is roasted there (phenomenal coffee!). They carry some small deserts as well. Overall, this place has a very cool vibe and serves/roasts (in my opinion) the best coffee in Tampa!

I dont know how it took me so long to write a review for this place. Probably because Im sitting at the bar talking to the friendliest baristas in the south east all day and forget to write about it on Google. Jason, Peter, and Kiran are the best thing thats happened to coffee in Tampa. They are super rad guys and the coffee they make is unparalleled. Any venture they pursue will succeed. I cannot wait to see how the Lab blossoms.

Open and friendly atmosphere for any person to stop for a coffee. The team are always open for convo otherwise they let you chill and do your thing. They roast their own coffee too, good roasters. Coffee Bean Brain Peter is... no pun, just a genius roaster. Sip an espresso you will understand. Thanks for the coffee guys, i will definitely be a loyal customer.

An exceptional coffee shop with really high quality of everything they make and excellent service. Their espressos are served properly (sparking water, 38grams). Its not a great place to work because there arent a lot of tables and its open-air. Otherwise a must visit when you are in Tampa.

I tried the aeropress for the first time today and it was an very unique and delicious coffee experience. One of the owners Jason, was very nice and welcoming. This is a great organic coffee shop, you definitely need to stop here and try their coffee!

Cool industrial space. Smells awesome when the roasters are going. The coffee guys are Knowledgeable and helpful about their roasting process and were willing to talk me through my own home roasting questions. Not your typical coffee hiuse

This isnt the type of place where you can set up your laptop and waste hours of your day. But you can, sit on a stool, at the bar, and enjoy a well prepared coffee (and muffin of youre so inclined).

Come check out this local coffee shop! The only downside is that they dont have air conditioning. But coffee is great and you should come before it gets more known
