Awesome! They cook their own meats except the Pastrami which they get shipped in from NY, they bake the bread on site and all the soups are homemade. This is a real deli, the sandwiches are huge, try the soup and sandwich combo it will definitely fill you up...my favorite is the Deli Trio (cornedbeef, pastrami and swiss on rye) with the clam chowder...their hours are short you have to be in the restaruant no later than 3pm as they close at 3:30pm. They do a large part of their business by catering, so get there early before 2:30pm if you want to eat there. The comment about them closing at 2:45pm is accurate, like I said they do a big catering business and close early. But if you want a really awesome deli sandwich, homemade soup, and quality then Go! You wont be disappointed.

Unfortunately I wont be going here anymore. Ive been going here 2-3 times a month for about 5 years getting their pastrami sandwich. Theyve raised their prices and made their sandwiches smaller to the point where even though they have the best pastrami in the Tampa area its way expensive. How about $17.23 for a pastrami sandwich with swiss, small bag of chips, a pickle spear, drink and a $2 tip. Thats NYC prices for a sandwich that used to be similar to NYC size. But now their bread slices are smaller and the amount of meat on it is less too. I wish I had the money to afford a $17.23 lunch but its too steep for me. Bummer too. The pastrami is awesome.

This deli has really gone downhill. I ordered a half of the Power House sandwich as they use to be hugh and overflowing with turkey. The bread was bigger then the turkey and bacon that were on it. The prices have increased and the portion sizes have decreased. I also ordered a side of pasta salad which consisted of two bites in the container. What a shame since the new owners took over. I wont be back. This doesnt even deserve a full star review.

Simple, good food. My husband had the triple threat, I had a BLT. Good filling, and great rye and ciabatta breads. The service far exceeded what you receive at the chain restaurants. They also offer free delivery with Amazon Prime Now accounts. This local family-owned restaurant is a great place to stop for a fast & fresh sandwich, salad, or homemade soup.

I work right across the Plaza so its nice not having to go far for lunch. the sandwiches are a great size , filling and good quality. be prepared to spend a little more money then at a normal sandwhich shop but you pay for quality. its not regular sandwhich meat you get from the supermarket. owners and employees are very friendly.

The Reuben sandwich is world class, however their menu is deceptive when it comes to sandwich prices, they take too long to make and the service is unapologetic for their faults. This could be a world class deli if they werent so cheap about the little details.

Ive eaten at Carrollwood Deli for over 10 years. Prices are up, portions are down and poor food quality is also starting to be the norm. My slaw looks like its from last week. It not bad, but keeps heading in the wrong direction.

The food is good, but the portions have decreased since the new owners over the past couple of years, especially the last year. Prices are now too high for the amount of food/ portion size. Owners are friendly.
