The place is actually tiny. There are the products that people from the post soviet space might be looking for and considering that there are no other Russian shops in Tampa this is the only choice we are left with. I usually go to this shop to buy my breakfast cereal and some other product but in general you have to be careful with the products and really check the date of their expiry because the some of the product that I found there were actually really old and far beyond the date of expiry. The Easter cakes that I bought there this Easter were so old that I barely could cut them. But if you want to buy "grechikha" (buckwheat), "psheno" (no idea how this is in English) and other products like this than this is a really OKish place to go to.

My wife (native Russian), and I had been going to another European Deli on Kennedy for years. We recently moved to North Tampa, and tried Red Square Deli. Honestly, I was not very impressed after reading all the reviews, especially the one claiming its the best in Tampa. Compared to our usual place which also primarily sells Slavic food. This place was smaller with far less selection, and a little more expensive. Not too mention the owner of the other place was much nicer. This place is nice for one or two common items, but other than that we will make the extra drive for our usual shopping.

"KLEIN ABER FEIN". The freshly baked bread (the dough is prepackaged in Germany, frozen and shipped to USA) is out of this world. They have an oven at the deli and bake it there. Several of my neighbors, immigrants from Europe, all tell me that this is the best bread that they ever tasted.I agree wholeheartedly Its worth a trip to Red Square Deli just for the bread let alone all the other delicious cold cuts, fish and Russian packaged produce sold there.

Great place. Only one in Tampa that I know of. Big selection on deli meats, candies, pastries, and much more. They also have a good selection of wine and beer. Not just from Russia either. They had products from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, Belarus, and much more. If you are looking for Slavic goods in the area, this is the place to go.

Clean store, smells great and has an extensive cured meats and deli counter. I got caviar there that I needed for a party and they let me taste before I bought. They had lots of different caviar too. This was the only place I could find in the Tampa Bay area that had a varied supply.

Excellent store. Anything youd like from Russia groceries wise. Everything is fresh and tasty. I am thankful to the owners, Andrej and Luba, for keeping the store well stocked and running for many years now. Best of luck to them! Tatyana

Wonderful store! Quaint but equipped with the finest Slavic goods. As a native Russian customer, I was very happy with the product selection and the service. Best store of its kind in the Tampa area!
