I love chinese food. Coming from South Florida, Ive only managed to find one place thats decent up here (China Delight), but Great Wall is hands down one of the worst restaurants Ive ever been to. Ill also start off by saying that I NEVER take the time to write reviews, until now. Service was decent. My expectations if the food were low when I walked in the door. I figured, if its half decent, itll be worth the $11 I spent. As if the rice, soup and veggies werent flavorless enough, the general tsos sauce was disgustingly thick and overdone. After being less than halfway into the dish, I bit into a lovely piece of breaded fat, spit it out and walked out. Feeling horrible, I had to pull over on the side of Tennessee and throw up. At the time of writing Im still feeling horrible. I just hope I can make it hrough the night. Please, please stay away from there. Please.

I ordered at 6:30, they said 45 mins to an hour. Well at 8 I called because it was late and the guy said hed call his driver and call me back. I never heard back, so I called them again 30 mins later (now we are at 2 hours since I ordered) and he said that there were 2 more stops before me and he told me very rudely my choice was wait or cancel my order. I told him that I still wanted my food and Id wait. I waited another hour because I was on the phone and lost track of time. I called them again and they had cancelled my order without telling me. . .so here it is 9:40pm and Im eating yogurt to hold me over til morning. I am pissed!

The service wasnt bad but the food yes. I purchased the Mongolian Beef lunch with eggroll. FYI: Its an extra 50cents to pay with debit card. What scared me was he pulled my "frozen" eggroll to cook from out of the same fridge where the sodas were held and the sodas didnt appear to be ice cold. When i got home i ate the eggroll and i already could tell by the taste that the meat inside was on the verge of a spoiling. The fried rice is just yellow rice with vegetables and i tasted one of the beef Mongolia but i didnt trust it so i only ate the rice. Dont go there please.

We ordered Sweet and sour chicken and beef and broccoli both with white rice.. two egg rolls and Crab Ragoon. The food smelled great when delivered. It only took about 30 minutes. The food tasted fine. I would say about average that you would get in a mall food court. We wished the sweet and sour chicken had pineapple, green pepper and onions. There was just chicken and sauce to pour over it. I would eat here again as it is convenient to our home and we enjoyed it. The delivery man was very nice and so was the man that took our order.

Tonight, April 20 2013, is the worst customer service Ive ever received in Tallahassee and possibly my life. The owner, Mr. Feng, is extremely rude and doesnt understand the concept of customer service. He went back and forth with me about me asking him a "dumb question" and I demanded my money back before my food even had the chance to finish cooking. There was no way I was supporting his terrible customer service or his restaurant. From now on, I will continue taking my money to Empire Chinese on North Monroe in the Lake Ella Plaza.

We went here specifically to use a campus special coupon, and when we called to ask about it they had no idea what we were talking about and then made up a discount. They didnt bother sharing their policy that they only accept paper coupons and not ones on the phone app until we got there. This was especially irritating since we were specifically asking about it when we called. If you want to use campus special make sure you have a paper copy!

I wish i can give it 6 star rating. for last two year ive gone to about 40 cities in US and all of them gives worst rice compare to what this guys gives. they cook their food in thick/real soy sauce compare to others all over the country which gives soy sauce made of water. and portion they gives is like more than double of what others gives. ive stop chinese food elsewhere and only eat it when i come home about once or so every month.

Its been a while since Ive had chinese food and normally I dont go to the Great Wall because the food was not so good. I thought to myself maybe they have gotten better, try it again. Well.....it still isnt any good. Ten dollars down the drain. Seems they cut corners now (watered down gravy mixture with chicken and broccoli). And from reading the reviews, they obviously dont care what anyone thinks or says.

I dont know what I just paid for... Im not gonna lie: the shrimp friend rice was bussin. But the sweet and sour chicken was joke of the year. The sweet and sour chicken is what appears to be chicken-filled Chinese donuts. The sauce is on the side.... so I gotta break through bread layers to get the tiny piece of chicken... then dip it. Jus get rice

I am giving this a 3 star because the food is pretty decent. The "fried rice" is actually just yellow rice which is pretty weird in a Chinese Restaurant. I went to their bathroom the other day and it was revolting. It does kinda make me worry about the cleanliness of the kitchen now...... :(

Tried to make an order today and some guy on the phone told me I couldnt make it then hung up on me. (12:40pm). Ive been ordering here for years and mostly once a week. If this is how they treat their loyal customers then they dont deserve my money. Ill be taking my business else where.

Horrible customer service! Theyre delivery drivers STEAL money and when you tell the manager about it and how rude the delivery driver was, he says theres nothing he can do!! Will NEVER get my business again. Not to mention the crab rangoon and egg rolls were old and soggy!

disgusting and over-priced. I only went once but the woman at the counter balanced a cell phone while taking my order, go figure I ended up getting something totally different than what I paid for. I will never return to Great Wall. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

I came do to Tallahassee from another city and Im used to EXCELLENT rice. The rice at Great Wall is okay, however, it maybe the best Tallahassee has. The prices are sky high and I expect a little more and real china men. However, they do have good customer service.

Called to place a to-go order. Guy who answered the phone was rude & impatient. Forgot about placing order. If they are that rude, their food probably sucks. Called a different place instead, & talked to a very friendly, accommodating person.

On 11/12/16 around 3pm I walked in with a coffee mug and asked to purchase hot water for instant coffee only to be told "we dont have hot water" someone better tell them only hot water is sanitary for washing dishes but yall form your own opinion

Best Chinese Ive had here. Order online, and it doesnt take that long to get here (plus friendly delivery drivers). Good quality food for the price, and they always throw in lots of soy sauce and duck sauce packets. 5/5 would recommend.
