I eat at the Cheese Wheel every single Saturday, it is hands down the best sandwich shop in the city. Fresh meat, fresh bread, crisp lettuce, and if you get there early they serve breakfast! My family and I have eaten there since it was on San Marco Boulevard and then on 16. The potato salad is amazing and the pitas (especially the bread) is always fresh. All of the waitresses are friendly and helpful. We really enjoy what the owner has been doing to beautify West King Street; we notice when people plant flowers, add patios, and paint the building to freshen up things. We like it when people take pride in their community and also offer a bang-up sandwich deal. By the way the french fries are freaking amazing! Youre supposed to eat there to enjoy their amazing chicken salad, but wevalways order a Super Ryder or the Reuben or even a very simple grilled cheese sandwich and its always good!

Terrible service, poor quality ingredients and unsanitary environment. Unless you have good health insurance and dont mind being bed ridden dont eat here. The old location was bad but the new place is worse. So many good places to eat in St Augustine why would you want to waste your time and money here?

Its not the waitress fault but the old cheese wheel was 1000x better. What restaurant refills drinks and doesnt bring a new cup or where gloves thats nasty foods nasty and she looks like shes strung out on drugs. Theres like 4 people in here and food came out half frozen.

Our experience today was so bad we finally got up and left. Old cheese wheel was awesome now it sucks since new owner took over. Should have kept it the same. Food quality is horrible and no consistency.
