Yuck and more Yuck if your a group! "Unfortunately, our product was designed to be eaten on site at the store. The steaming process tends to soak into the bred about 15-20 mins after it is made." quoted from an email Chadwick Sorensen, Catering Manager, Firehouse of America, LLC. It was only a small group of 16 person lunch order. We received a visit from a person in the catering department, wanting us to place orders with Firehouse. So we thought lets give it a try. Well, one sandwich was forgotten, the sandwiches were poorly made, the order was not correct and extremely soggy. So bad, I discarded mine. We were told next time fax in our order, would be best, we called in the order. I am writing this review to let others know that if you are looking to eat the sandwich onsite you might fair better as the hot sandwiches are not going to fair well on the trip to your office, as we discovered. Our office is located less than 3 mins from the location we ordered from. Just so you understand, it is better service for 16 people to walk into a location and place an order because they will get faster service and a maybe a better sandwich. When the order was placed, we were told 45 mins for the order to be complete. If Firehouse knows the hot sandwiches become soggy after 10-20 mins, then why not disclose that before accepting a large order, which includes hot sandwiches and if 16 people were to walk into the location, would it really take the 16th person 45 mins to receive their order?

I wouldnt even give them a one star if I didnt have to give them something... We been waiting in like patiently,of coarse its very busy but as soon as its my turn to order a lady walks in after we all be standing there waiting to order and the cashier says,hold on Im goin to take her first because she is a call in.. What!!! Are you kidden me! Not excuse me but could I take her first cause she is a call in,,, Oh no....just like my money isnt as good as hers!!! My money will spend just as well as the next...so I just put my chips back and walked away before I said something I couldnt take back! So to all! If your a call in you get to go a head of all the other customers!! I will never give them my money again and will tell everyone I know!! ....

I came home from Firehouse, St. Augustine tonight with my free new under 500 calorie sub and loved it. I had the Datil Pepper one with the sauce on the side. It was delicious!!!!!. I will definitely order it again. It was tasty & warm & I want to try one of the salads next. Also, I want to thank all the people who were at this extravaganza tonight. Great support for a great place. The entire crew was, as always kind, helpful and generous.

I had the Hook and Ladder sub. It was full of turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and all on a wheat bun. It was pretty good. They had a cool soda fountain. It is one of the new computerized versions and you just push a button and the selection you picked is sent to your cup. One of the staff members got a little rude with me today and having to change my star rating. This place use to be really great, not sure why it has changed.

This place used to be great; the staff was friendly, orders came quickly, and the manager (owner,) was this super pleasant guy. But since JJ came to town this place has gone down hill. I wasnt greeted with smiles, staff was cold, order took about 25 minutes, and at the counter I was asked rudely "what do I want?" Not ever coming back here when there are better options in town.

Food is good but they put you on hold when you call in your order and forget about you. Call back and they want to put you on hold again. You tell them youre at work and dont have time to be on hold and they get an attitude. So I took my business elsewhere. Shame, I like their subs..

Last three visits Ive waited about an hour to get 2 sandwiches. Typically very good, but wont be coming back. Totally wrong order, and bread completely stale on one sandwich. Until something changes and drastically, I wont waste my money.

I love this firehouse, the manager Blake is always behind the counter to say hello as everyone walks in. The experience is always great! Everyone always looks happy. Thats how it should be. Dont forget to round up!

Food is always yummy! Also the order came out quickly and the staff is polite. Only reason I am rating it a 3 out of 4 is because they put mayo on my sub when I told them Italian dressing. I dont like mayo!
