We came all the way out to St. Augustine for another restaurant. Unfortunately that was closed down. Took a chance with this place was one of the biggest mistakes of all time. Our server "Nancy" basically ignored us the whole time. Everyone else was priority over us. I honestly took it as we where a younger couple and we were we beneath her. Now this would have not been bad if the food came out right, or was even edible. Food was cold and not the was it was described or the way we ordered it. Even after I complained ( 3 times to get our food fixed) it took a good amount of time for out server to come check on us. When I did have to get loud to talk over the music. I was shushed and stared down by a "bouncer" drinking his beer behind the bar wearing an MC vest.

horrible.....there were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party. we went for lunch new years day. it wasnt busy at all....three of us ordered burgers...and wanted to sub slaw for fries...we were told they couldnt do it...than one of our meals never even came out! when asked the server ran over and we could tell he forgot to put it in...the kids got more food than the adults...and basically we paid 8 dollars a piece for a tiny burger. we we waited an hour for our food and when we asked to see a manger...the owner came out. we told him our complaints and he didnt do anything! he took the missing meal off so that person didnt even eat! ill never recommend this place to anyone...ill never eat there again.

They claim they are award winning wings so we stopped in to see. I started with a bowl of chili which was perfect. Really really good. I was looking forward to the wings. Drum roll. The wings come double meaning that the 2 parts of the wing are still connected. The wings are very meaty but also very very average. Huge disappointment. Slimy and like every other bar they were lathered in sauce. Award winning in what I want to know. Everyone is really nice that works there but its food is pricy for the standard.

This place hands down has the best BURGER in town....they offer a size choice 6 or 10 oz, no frozen shape or taste and you can build it the way you want it, for me its rare....and the consistency is always spot on. They also have the best wings. ...tonight we were tired and chose not to dive into their wide selection of beers and ordered from home and picked it up. When I got home to the st augustine south, everything was still hot and cooked perfectly.....thanks Candlelight South ....you rock!!!!!

Ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwitch and a French dip with zipit. Very disappointed with the portion of meat on both sandwitches. Called owner and explained that this was the first time ordering and that the portion of meat on the sandwiches was disappointing. He stated that he saw the sandwitches himself before they went out and that was the right portion of meat. I told him it was the first and last time I would ever order! Horrible customer service!

Though the food was ok, I have to say that the service waS a bit off. I ordered the mozzarella sticks, the fried green tomato blt, a cowboy burger with waffle fries and a kids hotdog. They forgot my mozzarella sticks, I got crinkle fries instead, there was no goat cheese on my sandwich, so I asked for a side of that. Turns out they have it but the waiter said he didnt know when the shipment was coming. So....yeah... Not coming again.

One of my favorite restaurants now on the island after visiting it a few times. Price is very reasonable especially if you are looking for a simple burger. They also have some specials in the seafood department last time I was there. Note that it can get a little loud as the place starts to fill up in the evening on a weekend. Great place and try them out if you are visiting the area.

Candlelight has become one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is always excellent. My favorites are the wings, nachos and the cobb salad. The service is top notch! Petey, Kelly and Will have all waited on us regularly and are very attentive and friendly. I will always be a regular and highly recommend this restaurant.

Service was excellent, the nachos appetizer was a hit for everyone, and the wings were great! "5 Wings" is actually 10, so they are a really great price. Everyone there was very friendly and it was very clean. The bar was relaxing and the beer is cheap. I would definitely recommend this place to locals and tourists!

WOW this place is awesome. We were greeted right away and Nancy was our server. She was super friendly and pleasant. Food came out quick and was hot and delicious! We recommend the fried banana peppers for appetizer! If were ever out this way again, well definitely be back. Five stars all day. :)

The wings were amazing. Our server recommended mixing the datil pepper and garlic parmesan: incredible. Honestly, the best wings Ive had in town. They also have quite a few craft beers on tap. They are set up nicely for football games as well. We will definitely be coming back for more.

We had an amazing experience at candlelight a couple weeks ago, both food and service! We tried the wings and they certainly did not disappoint! Our server, Braxton was respectful and there when needed. Will definitely recommend and visit again soon!

Great food! Staff was not only polite, but worked together to help us when our server became busy. I had the fried green tomatoes and St Aug Cobb Salad, but my pyrogens had he biggest hot chicken wings Ive ever seen!

This is one of our favorite spots to eat in Saint Augustine. Petey Kelly and Will always give fantastic service. The wings are better then anywhere else around here. Great friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend.

Best atmosphere for a game. Best wings in town. Local favorite spot. Ownership is the best, food is well priced. TVs are all new and well placed. Great drinks and staff toof. A must go while in town !
