Fantastic restaurant--amazing food--cool atmosphere! Elegant without being stuffy--casual without being too casual. We started with their famous Kung Pao calamari--simply delicious, and maybe the best weve ever had. Then, we had the Red Snapper with risotto and the Key West shrimp and scallops--both delicious. The kids menu (for our 9 and 11 year olds) was too kiddie--would love to see a modified menu for older kids who have more refined tastes than chicken fingers and fries. Kids split a $44 steak which was a bit much, but they ate every bite. Brussel sprouts were a bit too smoky for our liking...but overall a lovely experience that wed highly recommend.

Very disappointed by our experience, the ambiance and apps were great. After ordering a second bottle of wine they seemed to forget the entrees and all 4 steaks came out overdone. They didnt mention that the special changed after we ordered it and we almost thought we got the wrong dishes. Once returned only one steak was cooked right and another was brought out raw The menu looked promising and I was excited by the brunch menu, but we wont bother trying it after our night. The complimentary cake was nice, but not enough to bring us back.

We love coming over on Sunday afternoons sitting out on the couch, having a relaxing lunch that is delicious. So many fresh and healthy items on the menu. We can bring our dog if we sit out overlooking the street and have a great time people watching and site seeing. I have never had anything there that is not great. The wait staff is fun, friendly and is very helpful. It has been a great place to bring visiting friends from out of state. We like the atmosphere, and how green and thought out the restaurant was created. Good work!

Disappointed. Lame. B team. Shore was formerly excellent and creative but seems to be going through a dead cat bounce with the departure of the main chef de cuisine and head bartender. The ambience is still there as the physical plant is very attractive but the staff was alternatively overwhelmed or AWOL. I had a bloody mary that reeked faintly of paint thinner and we collectively ate a cornucopia of mediocrity. Too pricey for what you get and until they get food and drink back together I advise avoiding the place completely.

Good original food. Several great specialty cocktails. The appetizers are very good. The calamari is original and very tasty; easily enough for 2. The cob salad is a full meal and very original. The ribs are great dish and very tasty. Outside seating on the porch overlooking St. Armands Circle. Inside seating is reconditioned. Great long bar along right hand wall. Reservations recommended.

The atmosphere of Shore is unique to the Sarasota area. Dining under the stars is beautiful, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, the food is always delicious, and fresh! The bar "mixologists" are always creating and making you feel right at home! Dont be afraid to create a drink! Can not go to St Armands Circle without stopping in. A definite must!

Fried chicken was surprisingly yummy, fingerlings were so tasty!!! Also the shrimp and scallop risotto was off the chain!!!!! We choose this place because it was very near our hotel in the circle and were super surprised with how great it was! The atmosphere is perfect for the kicked back beach but slightly upscale theme as well! Will definitely go back!!!

The Shore Diner in Sarasota, Fl is a great restaurant in a beautiful location on John Ringling Blvd. It has easy access and parking just off of St. Armands Circle. The seafood was spectacular and it was a great dining option for visiting family. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone spending the day on St. Armands Circle.

Service was great. The house burger was really good and my boyfriends meat loaf was awesome. The only thing we didnt care for was the ceviche. It was more expensive than ceviche I have had in fine dining restaurants and not even half as good. Ive had much better in Tampa, otherwise, everything else was good.

My wife and I had lunch at the Shore recently, and we couldnt have been more satisfied. The Mahi sandwich, the coffee, and desert where exceptional. Katy, our server couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. My wife was treated to a birthday desert that was out of this world. Thanks for the experience.

Shore offers delicious food in generous portions at reasonable prices, plus excellent service. There are veggie and vegan options, and you can sit inside or outside, in the sun or in the shade (or at the bar). Its on the second floor, so dont walk by it (youll need to climb stairs).

For Saint Armands Circle, this place is a hidden gem. Skip the crowds at the overrated "Columbia" and have a better meal and better value here. Theres a back entrance (stairs or elevator) from the public parking lot, so you can skip the parking-spot derby in the circle too.

Sunday brunch was fabulous.... I had steak and eggs and my wife had the breakfast frittata.... both were superb! Even better yet was the service! Waiter (michael) was the best we have had in a long time. The man is a black belt in service with a smile! Go eat there now!

Brunch Lunch and DInner! I love having lunch with friends there - they can handle larger parties. A lot of the food highlights locally grown selections! Great food and great atmosphere - Blackened Shrimp Tacos are super, local kale Caesar too!

Pros: Close to the airport, friendliest staff I have run across in a long time, nice pool area and complimentary parking. Cons: Dated property, not near any restaurants or night life, small concierge lounge with very limited options

While staying with a friend in Bradenton, she brought us here for lunch. I had a cheeseburger. It was a great burger! And the fries were crispy and tasty. Service was inconsistent, but we will come back next time were in town.

Wonderful atmosphere! Excellent staff. I had the black bean burger. It was mouth watering. The ceviche was my excellent. My 11 - year old even liked it. Prices were a little on the high side, but the location made up for it.

Love coming here & getting a table on the front deck. The calamari appetizer is so good & can be made into a meal in itself. The cocktails are always on point & I love the overall atmosphere of this restaurant:)
