Me and my husband come here to eat and its good I Took my best friend to eat here for the first because the food is great. For some reason as soon as we wait for a seat the waiter automatically was going to take someone before us because I guess they were handy cap. Im pregnant also and its first come first serve. If it wasnt for the people to say take us first the lady would of had we waiting longer for a seat. So the Waiter that served us never introduce her name or greet. She just said what would you like to drink. We ordered our food and ate but she never came by to check up if the food was ok or ask for any refills. We waited looking for her and she was no where to be found 15 minutes later she comes give us or check. I was trying to ask for a Togo box she walked off and I had to wait for her again to come back when i asked her I wanted also a Togo drink but she walked off so fast so I had to wait again. I was getting really upset. When me and my friend paid for our food I wrote on my receipt "THAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE & LONG WAITS". My friend told me when I left to put the kids In the car because she orders a Togo lunch the waiter read the note and ripped the top of the receipt and threw it away. I guess she got mad and didnt want the manager to see what I wrote. So Im not eating here again.

This is a wonderful family restaurant. It has crayons for the kids and a kids club. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. If theres a way they can do something, they will. The bakery Goods are very good though they arent baked from scratch. There is a no sugar added berry pie that is excellent even if youre not watching calories or sugar. Perkins Bakery is by far the best haunt for sweets anywhere in this area but if you want healthy theres plenty of that too. One especially good low calorie dish I have often had is their fit breakfast consisting of two small blueberry banana pancakes, scrambled egg whites and two Savory chicken sausages done any way you like. They will Grill anything if you request it. On another subject altogether, this Perkins has a great ladies room that is always clean and really accessible in a wheelchair. They even have a cushion they store so that if someone needs something to make a booth or chair more comfortable, they have it. My only criticism is that their soup and appetizer choices are quite Limited. For a great meal big on comfort food and kindness you cant find anywhere better

Worst experience ever so horrible came in no one greeted us stood at the front waiting to be seated for about 5mins. Finally the manager came and sat is in the back corner away from everyone. The manager told us the serve would be with us shortly she NEVER came over finally the manager came and took mine and my husbands order as we are sitting here waiting the sever has checked on every table except us we had never been to this location or did we know anyone that worked there seriously couldnt even eat the food

Not a typical Perkins, the food is average, and that is most likely because most of it is microwaved. The service is good most of the time. There are days that some of the employees have a off day. I have eaten here for 11 weeks now as Im working from out of town. Four days a week for 11 weeks. The meatloaf is good and do is the apple pie. Really expensive when you have to eat out every day. They do give discount for staying in hotel next door. All in all is not bad.

Learned they have free piece of pie on Mondays and a drink/pie combo special the rest of the week! I always forget about it being here since it is set off the road a little bit. Waitstaff was very friendly - the reason I took a star away was because the back of the restaurant had a bit of a musty smell to it. It had been raining so hopefully thats all it was.

Very good food, but its like eating in a freezer,very cold no matter were you sit, the should go sit in the seats and see, next time come we will ask people that come out if the air on full blast, and if it is we just go across the street, dont bother tell any one about cold and they just smile,goog food were winter jacket when you go

We go here late at night- expect them to be out of most of the things that you want and expect the service to take about twenty minutes between seeing a waiter. The food is pretty decent for late-night diner fare, but stay away from the fossilized biscuits.

My group meets here weekly and the managers and staff have been the best that we have ever had the pleasure to be around. Accommodating and always willing to get us taken care of when we are here. Best Perkins in the Sarasota/Manatee area.

Love the consistency of Perkins. Ive been to them from Minnesota to Florida and theyre all great. Everything from healthy entrees to awesome tasting desserts all at a reasonable price.
